I rate this video a 10/10. Truly outstanding visuals on your end, especially with the new setup. Although off to a slow start, the video gained momentum in its pacing and proved to exert your true potential in storytelling. The images exhibited throughout the video made me more engaged than ever. I have to note that I am a bit disappointed with the Cerapad Kin in terms of not being scratch-proof. I await Good Enough Tech Review merch, but until that time comes I shall remain patient. In the end, I almost forgot to like, subscribe, and comment, but your reminder saved me. Thank you for this video and I can't wait to indulge in next one.
Thank you! I'm sorry I stepped away for so long but had to move house and build a studio, hopefully the quality of the new videos was worth all the work!
@@GoodEnoughTechReviews Definitely. It looks very professional and nice to look at. It's easy to tell that you put a lot of hard work into your reviews and I enjoy watching them all. I hope your move went smoothly! Can't tell you how happy I am to have you back. My favorite reviewer on youtube by far.
Thank you! Some of my Overwatch drip on display lol... SkyPad was even faster than this, I could see it being viable for heavier mice but honestly with mice now reaching 40-50g wireless, these pads give almost no control tbh :(
@@GoodEnoughTechReviews Oooh really? Well that's me not getting the Skypad 3.0 no more. Thanks for the heads up. Might hold off for the Smooth Criminal so! I'm a big OW fan so might get me some merch too. Boomer life rejoice!
floof is innocent! I also have those scratches but they haven't affected glide at all and is supposedly discoloration only. I can only see them when I shine a light on it though, otherwise it's pretty much invisible. the kin is prob my go-to pad for the summer cause it stays cool. was a much better experience than the warm clothy feeling
Yeah the scratches seem cosmetic only but wanted to at least call them out so people had a heads up it might happen to them... Don't fall for the cats innocent look, he is a sociopath
Not at all, G-Wolves have upped their game so hard with the HSK+ and HTS+, feels like they're a different company to the folks who dropped the HTM and Skoll
It's not really a new concept, we did this in the 90's a lot of cs go players, with glass pads with some paint on it to get texture, and ptfe skates. Just so you know. Have been waiting for it to come back though after it shattered moving from a lan.
Hey I'm looking for a pad that's a bit faster than the Hayate Otsu and that's made of soft fabric and not this rough one, do you have a recommendation? Thanks in advance
Have you considered something like the HyperX Speed pad or the Corsair mm350 pro? Neither of them are super premium but in my experience they're faster than the Otsu and have a smooth finish. Otherwise you can try the artisan Raiden but that's a lot, lot faster. Hope that helps start your search
PTFE, any brand really but Hyperglides and corepads are my go-to, would recommend some non abrasive glass cleaner or multisurface cleaner and a microfibre cloth 💪
@@GoodEnoughTechReviews Thankyou :) I was looking at btl skates and currently have corepads on and the glide or the micro movements feel like I'm fighting the mouse I tried to clean the pad but it wont stop any thoughts as to why?
@@GoodEnoughTechReviews I don't see any I cleaned it a few times with Windex with no results, theirs some difference in color but I don't think that's problem idk why it's like this :(
Scratches are not that bad if they are not affecting the glide. But what about the dust particles and hairs ? Do they affect the glide as Skypad does ? That's my only concern about the Skypad but its really annoying and that's why I stopped using it.
@@GoodEnoughTechReviews Any other reviewer have different experiences that's why I also wanted to ask you. I trust your experiences and words more than any other mousepad reviewer. It costs to me 191 USD total with shipping and taxes but I still don't know if its worth to that price :)
@@GoodEnoughTechReviews I checked it out iirc. But since he said that he almost didn't have this problem even on skypads, I didn't pay much attention to it.

Less a comment and more of a classic novel, I feel this should be available in audible and narrated by Morgan Freeman 🤣🙏
Nice review as always. It's great to have you back reviewing. I love watching your reviews.

Super encouraging to hear that, I'm not going anywhere again, minimum weekly uploads from now on, sometimes more when I can! Hope I don't let you down
@@GoodEnoughTechReviews That's great to hear, I've missed your reviews a great deal!
Love the video style, good balance of jokes and info, and not long as hell for no reason
Yo, appreciate that! I try to keep them short, to the point and hopefully not too boring 🙏
Nice hoodie & review isn't bad either! 😛 I want to try the Skypad 3.0 or the Smooth Criminal when that drops

Blizzard store sales usually are some deep discounts so once or twice a year I'll cop some hoodies/tees

Mine turns up this week, can’t wait. Fed up buying cloth pads. Hopefully this lasts for years
Great review as always!
Little off topic question: where is the Hati 4k?
Did you experience some deal-breaking issue?
Thank you!
And nope, HTS+ still my bae, its just setup on my gaming PC so didn't have it on the recording studio desk to use as a prop example 🤣
Fantastic!
Sorry for the off topic, but I have mine coming in (hoping soon) and I was already going paranoid

@@GoodEnoughTechReviews Thanks for your answer, is there even more choice if you say same as Hayate Otsu but in soft fabric?
Potentially, but the thickness options have very limited impact on speed if you're not clamping the mouse down hard
how would you clean this cause my micro adjustments feel like crap personally and the pad is broken in, and what mouse skates do you recommend?

No, that doesn't sound right at all :( is there any grease or spotting on the pad?

No, thankfully on ceramic that isn't the case like you find on glass, dust and hair doesn't have that screeching effect

Check with Boardzys review as he's very honest, he said that he didn't have the issue either if I remember?

Farmed for XP 😬
The glass skates would have scratched it every slide
TJ exclusives said glass was safe to use on it? I probably wouldn't recommend it regardless
magnum dong 😂
