Great Watch! A constant presence I felt while watching Great Guru Dutt sir's art pieces leaving their contentful and strong plot points & performances aside is the way he approched his art, the direction. He gives the viewer enough details and time to first understand and slowly get immerse in the world and do not hurry, not caring about fears as if someone will get bore or not, and it works because i feel this is very important to first set the required points in flow and then bring the excited, believable and slighlty twisted moments which gives out the entertainment, but ofourse he balances it here and there whenever it may get too stretched out by those beautiful stock of Songs well sunged, composed and written. Coming to Baazi, well this is my first lookout on the young performance of Dev Anand sir, and i must say his aura and way of acting really attracts and is enjoyable! His face delievers innocence, Manliness and pure desire to be in the film, so does almost everyone in this film, Very well performed! Songs are always a highlight of Cult Classics, so is the case with this. LOVELY! So yeah absolutely Enjoy and Immerse without having much high expectations and as a debudant film of Guru sir. Though I would say Dutt sir's other Movies and MASTERPIECES like everAlive 'PYAASA' and CULT 'KAAGAZ KE PHOOL' are but somewhat truly UNIQUE, EXCEPTIONAL AND VISIONARY. So don't set your hopes too high for this one :)

Thanks to you tube for constantly uploading video films of dev Saab of 50s and 60s since last 5to6 days .I liked all the movies of devanandji and commenting on almost all viewed so far, dev Saab is first super hero, film baazi considered to be first for uplifting his career. People appreciate Dev Anand's movies just because they are supposed to. The only exception is Hare Rama Hare Krishna. And that was because both the female leads, Mumtaz and Zeenat Aman, overshadowed Dev Anand; as did the music of RD Burman and the voices of all the lead singers.
