This route is targeted towards O&D and is carrying avg 150 pax each way + cargo. Oct-Jan numbers looks even better. Dubai bound pax are using this flight and with the response of this flight code share with eithad ain't needed for this flight. There are enough Tourist, Workers, VFR passengers on this route. with what I heard 6E + Qatar code share has some internal issues that is why they didn't move forward with starting other indian routes. We are pushing indigo to start DOH. if the internal issues are over then this will materialise

But this route has potential to capture some of that market. with indigo opening more routes to auh from mangalore/cjb/trichy, a codeshare with etihad will be beneficial for both airlines. Demand for connections to the west from cjb will only continue to grow, and just air india's international route connections from delhi/mumbai won't suffice. Hoping for one-stop travel to more US cities from cjb through middle eastern carriers.
Well it may sound good & might look good in papers but from an airline metrics and other revenue points of view they have Code share with their competitor - Qatar airways. So another code share woth Middle East carrier will be a tougher task. Personally I don’t see this code share coming.. indigo-QR via Doha is what we all are waiting for.. But for CJB it would be nice if something like this AUH - EITHAD code share comes up.. But hey never say never in aviation..
Yes it is a new route (AUH) and they opened it with 3x weekly. They can’t make it daily in short notice as it’s a new route. The loads & cargo are good, it’s something to do with aircraft availability & rotation issues is what I have been said. Before going daily they may add 1 or 2 weekly flight. Hopefully by Summer 2025 they might add 1/2 more frequency
Well despite Trichy having flights to DXB, SHJ, AUH - this 6E flight was doing well. Cargo & yield were bit low & Due to aircraft availability issues and further rotation issues they initially had planed to cancel both CJB & TRZ flights, but they opened CJB as it’s their first and only international service started with lot of news / fan fare. Will create a bad image for 6E at CJB. They will be back at TRZ next summer with 4x or daily flights
@@akviews047 bro will CBE sustain this flight? We have this as one of the very few connections to Middle East and if it gets cancelled, will hurt lot of Pax in CBE and surrounding areas as well!
Atleast till 2025 mid vara chance illa... Starting a new station costs more. athu avanga boeing aircraft and air india is Airbus. so it will cost even more Once avanga aircraft la delievery stabilse aaga start aachuna apo there is possibbility.. Hopefully by 2025 end pola
