I've flown with Etihadairways a few times and their services have always been exceptional. The one thing I never liked was Abu Dhabi Airport, as it was congested and filled with passengers, making it difficult to find personal space. However that perspective completely changed when I stepped into the newly constructed Terminal A a few days ago. I must say, it's absolutely amazing - vast in size, yet it feels like a VIP lounge accessible to all passengers. This airport has indeed set a new standard in airport excellence, offering travelers a seamless, comfortable, and technologically advanced experience. Great work and many congratulations.
Can't agree more. The legroom the food quality the service the amenities the entertainment system. and price extremely competitive. I flew from Kul to Rome for less than $600. Emirates is another 1 of my fav.
True, the older terminal was funny, but a bit too small. I don't fly often but transferred in the new Terminal A in the very first days! just 2 months ago now. Only complains so far are that it's a bit cold, also the last boarding back to Europe was a bit weird with a staff member continually calling the passengers by "boarding zone", which could be indicated on a display, instead of a loud, struggling employee, or have 4 distinct rows in front of the gate, and opening them one after the other. I always fly with Etihad when I have the choice, and was very happy this time again, I just hoped I could fly on their A350's (at some point we were supposed to have a A350 for one leg, but it reverted back to a 100% 787's travel)...
I was there recently. It's a stunning airport. Very spacious and getting through from landing to arrivals was a breeze. Much as I love the old terminals (for nostalgic reasons) this new airport is a huge improvement.

I just left that airport after the Formula 1 races ! It is an amazing airport !! Very easy flow from Check- In, Security, and Boarding! The Pearl Lounge is very nice as well !

Incredible coverage of the passenger journey Sam!! It was an honour to have worked on the commercial planning and interior design of T1. Seeing our design of the Jewellery ribbon, sunglasses spectrum, icons ‘egg’ stores and luxury pods with my own eyes and how precise they are to our vision is truly spectacular.
Very wonderful terminal in my opinion. Yes i too watch Mission Impossible Dead Reckoning Part 1 and the movie scene at the new terminal is totally awesome👍. Very nice👍video, sir.
Wow a very luxurious airport. I have never seen an airport this wonderful before, but I am surprised that there is no internal train that makes it easy for passengers to move inside.

Flew by Etihad in March of this year. I like the most about new terminal is separate entrance for Business and First class passengers. Lounge is spacious and exceptionally good. Terminal itself is very spacious. We also flew by Etihad last year and can see vast difference between old terminal and new terminal A.

Nice video. Huge like. Can't wait to explore the new terminal during my layover in july 2024. I will ride the A350-1000 from CDG to AUH...then 7 hours layover. I will stay in the business lounge...then i ll take the 77W going to Manila. For my return flights, it would be the B787-10 then i will fly with Air France : A350-900.
Much needed imo, never been to the Abu Dhabi Airport but if it's anything like Dubai Airport this is much needed given how congested it becomes as a lot of the flights/transfers all happen around similar hours. In many ways become a victim of their success where capcity/quality can't keep up, hence new Dubai airport makes sense. Deffo need more investment in business class lounges though as like rest of the world these are packed to the brim these days!
I usually avoid etihad since their old terminal was super small, but then I need to fly to Osaka from Munich so etihad was the only way to go (my lufthansa flight got cancelled). Hence I was so surprised of this new terminal cause i did not know 100% that they built a new one.
Amazing video! Is it available anywhere online the map of the new terminal A?? In 2 weeks I am going to transit in Abu Dhabi with a little toddler, and I am somehow perplexed by the lack of information, like a floor map.

As a person who experienced Abu dabui terminal A I will give it a 9/10
