I agree with you, Stephanie, a little piece of history in a brush mark on a carafe, a teacup or an ancient Grecian urn. It brings us back to the simpler times and beauty.
17:05 In fact, things haven’t changed so much: most people can still only dream of visiting far away places. This is perhaps part of why channels such as these are so beloved - they provide a window into other worlds, other types of lives, past and present.❤

Keep it up Stephanie you are entertaining, encouraging, positive, and full of, interesting tidbits of knowledge.

Most people outside of the big towns are not used to people filming videos in the street, I live in a village very close to the Atlantic and La Rochelle which is filled up with tourists in the summer , and I have never seen anyone filming a video in the way the UA-camrs do .
I live the beautiful blue and white dishes Phillip found. Wonderful crystal set too. Cannot wait to see every ones Halloween costumes at Lalande this year. 🙂🇨🇦
I hadn't looked up Pezenas on a map until this video when you said that Montpellier had eclipsed it (somewhat). I've been to Montpellier and loved it! It is one of my favorite cities in France. Pezenas is very charming and I'd love to visit. Thanks for sharing!
Philip , that cape was lovely. I still have the vintage capes my sister and I purchased long ago, used, and wore to dances and so have my own young daughters. Hard to come by those very nice vintage capes.
Got myself a bowl of homemade soup, got cozy on the couch with my cat (it is Autumn here in the U.S. as well) and watched this video with a very happy heart. One of my fave types of vlog you make! Thank you! ♡
Now Stephanie, I have been watching your vlogs from the beginning and i have decided I need to be another aunt you need . I am the right age but I do live in Australia and was born in Scotland. I feel i am so much part of your family and love catching up everyday with whats going on in Lalande !!
I hope you purchased the ladle. It's awesome. The cape was pretty elegant. I was surprised when you passed on it. Although, you both probably already have several. I loved those blue and white plates. Are they transferware? Steven and Chantel, the shrimp and garlic aoli, looked delicious. How lovely to see you all together for an intimate meal. Thanks, as always. ❤ from TX!
I love gas curling irons! I always keep one in my travel bag. And you can take them in your travel bag on the plane, you just have to keep the gas cannister in an enclosed container.

I have been living in Pézenas since 5 years now. But every time you come we don’t cross our paths, which is a pity. I would love such a surprise. I’ve done the brocante last Sunday too but probably you were there earlier than me. Fingers crossed, next time 🤞💓 And I also wanted to say that you could be the proudest piscenoise (this is how locals are called) cause the town is unfortunately losing it’s charm due to life standards going down and the careless attitude of people towards many aspects. Also the local artisans are struggling making ends meet. I do hope that the situation can change for the better.
That was a wonderful trip. I think you need to invest in a Boulder Cart type thing, so you can add all your shopping goodies as you trundle through the market! :D
Thank you for a wonderful tour of Pezenas! I enjoyed the antiques faire ! Also, it was good see an interesting example Sarreguemines. I have a child’s ca.1900 Kate Greenaway style washbasin on stand from this pottery.
