My biggest tips for the wax strips bc mine werent working before either: 1) put LOADS of baby powder under your arms before applying the strip 2) apply in the direction of the hair growth, this might mean using two strips to get all the hair fully out, and pull in the opposite direction of the hair growth
Also, it's a bit tricky, but press your skin down with the other hand, not touching the hair, but to make the skin tight/taught/stretched This helps. I always do my own now with those stripe

The key is the apply the strips and smooth them down in the direction the hair grows and rip them off in the opposite direction as close to the skin and as quickly as possible. I have facial hair too. A lot of people shave or wax , I don't do both cause it just makes it worse and my skin gets irritated. so don't worry much about it
Girl, please make sure ur stretching ur skin as taught as you can especially in ur underarm area. It’s very sensitive and if you just pull at it with a wax strip then you are just tugging at thick clumped up skin and it will cause bruising and bleeding and it will her way more then if u had just stretched it taught. That will also help with getting better results 💗
I wish girls would specify that shaving your face does not work for everyone! If you have PCOS, or other health issues, shaving your face is off limits. If you were to shave your whole face and have PCOS you’re legit gunna probably look like a squirrel a month later.

A recent tip I just got from my bff on shaving (really anywhere) is to soak or steam the skin for a while then cleanse, exfoliate, rinse, shave, use a gel moisturizer, then cream ~ let it soak in ~ tone the skin with rosewater, aloe, cucumber, or something else soothing and finally let the skin breathe for a full 24 hours (no touching, no makeup, no nothing). That should help you avoid irritation while the micro-cuts heal 💗
The hair on your face will grow back thicker if you keep doing that I do have side burns and I shave it and it keeps getting thicker I can remember my boss told me not to do that

i wax my underarms , cuz idw get razer cuts, and u get used to it. remember to clean ur underarms before, and also exfoliate before. it will be less painful
Waxing your upper lip will gives you discoloration, especially for dark skin tones, i will say try another method

Would shaving like this be ok for trans girls like myself? I’m afraid of shaving in case it grows back thicker and darker so I always get my face waxed every few weeks. I’d love to be able to do this as it’d be so much easier and cheaper and sooooo much less painful 😂🫶
Fyi I just found out that wax strips & hot wax on the face will cause wrinkles in the long run
The wax strip for your arms didn't work bc you didn't pull the opposite direction of the hair and you didn't lay down the full strip

So u didn't wax ! 1 use file and tweezers for ur mustache and brows , and shave ur face or use file 2 don't use strips or sugar on ur armpits , use wax always for private zones , strips and sugar are best for body
Except aloe Vera gel everything she used is most horrible for anyone 😢
