Jarod is totally correct it's called a hamburger because it originated in Hamburg Germany in Ireland we just say burger or chicken burger that's was a great crazy memory Addison sooo full of confidence then "mom he's touching meeee 😢" so funny I love her confidence honestly but she is just so funny....and Kylie omg you are just too funny I love it, we don't have things like that in Ireland but our spiders really are getting bigger and bigger every year and they freak me out so bless you all for living with all these creepy crawlies ❤❤❤
I'm half-german. Jarod is right. The American version doesn't have much resemblance to the German version (other than having a meat patty) but the name was inspired by the German city of Hamburg.
I can't explain how much your family brings joy into my life, these past 2 months have been so hard emotionally and I feel I just cannot win, but when I watch your vlogs it brings me joy❤
Baking soda that you use to bake with doesn't go in the refrigerator. It can stay in the pantry. Only time baking soda goes in the refrigerator is when you want it to keep your refrigerator smelling fresh.
Love, the fact that the kids all are learning to bake when you do it as a group thing. It’s important these days that kids learn how to cook and measure. A friend of mine never allowed her girls in the kitchen. She wanted them to all be very independent. In other ways. When my son married one of these girls, she didn’t know how to use a measuring cup measuring spoons to this day. She still has trouble cooking in the kitchen.❤️
In New Zealand, a burger (or chicken, or any kind of pattie) in a bun is called a "burger" - chicken burger, hamburger, cheeseburger. A sandwich is something made between slices of sliced bread!
Can't tell you how many times I always get triggered when I hear it called a chicken sandwich 😂😂😂 on a bun it's a burger and I always correct my American friends 😂🤣
oh the lizard escapade 😂😂😂 i love bex interacting with her aunts and uncles, so cute. her dancing in the kitchen with the headphones could definitely become a meme
Where I am in the UK we usually call your 'hamburgers' beef burgers (or just burgers) and your 'chicken sandwiches' as chicken burgers - so nice and simple! A chicken sandwich would have bread rather than a burger bun - unless its McDonalds and then they still call it a McChicken Sandwich over here too.
Jared. It's only fitting that if Shelly goes as Barbie for Halloween, you shall go as Ken. The Ken with the polyester tracksuit of course 😂, and short blonde wig with headband and jumping rope.
Try a white cake mix and a can of pumpkin bake as normal and then let it cool completely. Top with Cool Whip and crushed Butterfinger bar so delicious.
I live in Hamburg PA and we have the biggest hamburger festival at the end of summer. It brings people to our small town from all over the world. The whole town is closed for this wonderful festival 🥮
Mason's shocked face when Jared said let's get shots lol. Great seeing the kids help bake too, Bexley helping her mom mix too. Look forward to part 2. Crazy memory I remember. Blessings.
"Its roots can be traced back to the 12th century in Hamburg, Germany, where minced beef was a popular delicacy. This dish evolved over time into what became known as “Hamburg steak,” which was essentially seasoned ground beef that could be served raw or cooked. In what country were hamburgers invented? Germany."
I one time made a Pumpkin, Pumpkin Cake. It was 2 Bunt Caked together. Then frosted with, home made, Orange Buttercream frosting. With a bent paper towel tube. Covered with green and orange frosting as the stem. It was a Hit at work.
In Australia, they are chicken burgers - the rolls make it a burger. Also all the pumpkin stuff doesn't happen here. I don't think you can buy tinned pumpkin here. Pumpkin is just a vegetable.
Hello crazy Middle's your family is literally amazing I am so excited to finish watching this video I absolutely love Lacey and Bex I also love seeing everyone baking and the shopping before baking ❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤ again thank you for sharing your lives with us ❤❤❤❤❤❤❤

I’m not a fan of pumpkin but I love watching you guys. I have a lot of medical problems and it makes me laugh every time. So fun to watch crazymiddles.
In South africa we call it , Beef Burgers and Chicken Burgers . Sandwich 🥪 🍞 is loaf bread or longer buns almost like hotdog rolls/ buns , then it's a chicken sandwich. Roundbuns are called hamburger buns.

I make a pumpkin cake roll that has a cream cheese frosting in the center you roll inside. The ones at the store like at Walmart use a butter cream frosting. Not a fan.
Weight Watchers cake mix and can pumpkin Oven 375 bake for 25 minutes I use carrot cake mix and can pumpkin and make as a cake and cut into squares I will have to try making the cookies but without the icing
Fresh baking is better than store bought cant wait prt 2 how too make it, great job on cookies jarred . 😂😂😂you guys make me laugh i kost my mom couple months so be nice too your family 😘😘😘
Well done Jarrod White Castle traces the origin of the hamburger to Hamburg, Germany, with its invention by Otto Krause. Some have pointed to a recipe for "Hamburgh sausages" on toasted bread, published in The Art of Cookery Made Plain and Easy by Hannah Glasse in 1758. Hamburgers gained national recognition in the U.S. at the 1904 St.
Why is hamburger called hamburger? After running out of their hot pork sandwiches at the Erie County Fair in Hamburg, NY, Frank and Charles Menches mixed ground beef with spices and sold it between bread, naming it “the hamburger” after the city where the fair was held.
The original concept of a hamburger came from Hamburg, Germany so that's indeed where the name comes from. The kids act like it's unlikely, because the word "burger" is in there, but that's actually the newest of all the words and just an abbreviation from "hamburger". So it goes like this: "Hamburg": founded in the 4th century, although the name came later - the actual castle ("burg" means castle) was built around 800 AD > "Hamburger": late 19th century > "Burger": 1930s
It feels like Beksly (sorry don’t know how to spell her name) is everybody’s baby 😍 and I just love that. And I love how a household of many children but almost non from babies have an opportunity to have a baby - even though she is a toddler now.
I just looked up the origin of the hamburger and it said that it's unclear where it actually originated. Some say Germany and others say New York and Oklahoma. With other places as well. So it's not a proven fact of it coming from Germany..
The pumpkin cookies it’s 350° for 12 minutes. There’s a cookie that I’d like to make it’s made with Dolly Parton’s coconut cake and mix a box of pineapple Jell-O to eggs and a stick of butter mix it all together and roll it around and coconut cook at 350° for 12 minutes best cookies you ever make.
In Australia we call anything in a roll/bun a hamburger or chicken burger-even at McDonald’s, hungry jacks etc they are burgers. If things are made with bread ie: steak sandwich then yes it’s always called a sandwich.
Baking as a family is fun and Shelley is right there is more at the store and guess what you got a good story to tell at a later date or the makes for a good crazy middle memory
Most store bought pumpkin rolls are made with buttercream in the middle instead of cream cheese. Which in my bakers opinion is a baking sin....but some people perfer that.
Another proof that through cooking you can educate yourself. In history via a hamburger and chemistry via icing. That's home scholing at its best. I'll be back for part 2 for the entertainment 😂

Jared is totally correct

Never use the baking soda from the refrigerator. It pulls in all the odor and moisture. Bad for baking. Good call guys xoxoxoxoxxo
Thx for that 😊
Thank goodness you stated that, I was about to say the same thing!!! ❤❤
Family baking together, getting all the ingredients for everyone's chosen recipe and sharing the kitchen etc is special.

They've always been called chicken burgers in Australia :) Burgers are in buns, where as sandwiches are in sliced bread.
Same as New Zealand
I've always thought it was odd how they call burgers "sandwiches".
