Thanks for the video, Tyson! Lots of action in the field with the combines, grain cart and trucks! Good to see the progress you are making! The new driver is very cute for sure! 😀 Have a nice day!
Ever thought about selling those 3 combines and buying 2 bigger combines and then running a grain cart on the go? I’m not sure what would be the best, but I figured you’d probably looked into it.
Smaller older combines are way cheaper than one large new one right now. Those machines are worth 50K per unit with the headers. Vs 1.35 M for a large new unit. (Machine, header and header cart) They are equally as productive when on the road. A TR 99 would handle a 35' draper increasing productivity for not much money. In our area around Edmonton we don't have a labor shortage as bad as some other areas.
Who was the lady? Sounded like you said she was from a neighboring city? Nice that she wasn't shy on camera. Looked like she was doing fine and not her first rodeo in a combine.
How common is straight cutting up there? I remember as a kid back in the 80's and 90's down in the Vermilion area, nobody straight cut, they all swathed and then combined. By the time it was dry enough standing, it was under the snow.
@@Northern_Farmer covered in really wet snow from last night. Just working on corrals, getting ready for weaning in a couple weeks when the swath grazing wraps up.
If all combine drivers look like that it wouldn't be so hard for farmers find truck drivers.😂
Your makeup artist deserves an oscar. Shawns halloween costume is epic. It even talks.

I don't know...I'd have to really big I think to make a difference...then I'd have to go bigger everything...swather...straight headers...
yup a Claas 780TT with 45ft MacDon would do everything those 3 combines would do
@@piperdoug428sucks though that the nearest clauss dealer is 4 hours away

Very common...I was one of the last to start using them....just for canola though...some still preferred to swath it.
You have to spray most years though to be able to straight cut
@@Northern_Farmer I guess back then they had later strains and dessicant wasnt nearly as common,
@@notsofresh8563 yea
