Elon Musk will just rename Mars Planet X. 😅😅😅
Haha probably
@vi8tboy
And a ride to Planet X. 😀
And people from mars called alien x
It certainly is far enough away from meddling political hands to do whatever you want to do
NOT good one 😑🚀
Mankind can do amazing things, given enough money and time. Unfortunately, our reluctance to tackle, or even admit to, the problems we currently face on Earth will likely not give us either.
Earth First! 🌎
ELM … earth lives matters
@@blazemordly9746so silly as there are many natural disasters that could wipe us out any time within a click of our fingers....
I think even if we get humans to Mars in the near future, I figure it will be little more than a science outpost for a century or more, before any serious colonizing can be done. Just like Antarctica.
We need to have mastered fusion power, before the resources of Mars can be fully processed at the scale we would need.
I agree. Except that the Antarctic Treaty says nothing about private individuals colonizing the frozen continent, only nation states are forbidden to do so. No one lives permanently in Antarctica because no one wants to. And Antarctica is a balmy, wet paradise compared to Mars. Musk is entirely and utterly full of crap.
I like your comment dude, we human love to be at the location to get the details. Reflecting the entire proceeding, I think the best way to explore space is to use robots. After exhausting all its sciences we can now walk around from location to location. I say this because of how fragile biology is.
If we don't take this fact into account and get carried away by our curiosity we'll constantly encounter casualties that'll make us lose interest and consider space as not worth the effort which indeed is wrong.
Ok kiddo. Your great great … great grandkids will never ever colonise mars . Bye 👋
He always neglects how this new atmosohere would be prevebted from being blown away by solarwind. Mars has a solid core, not a molten one like Earth. Our molten iron core/mantle is what generates the magnetic field which protect our atmospher from being vlown away by solar wind. Mars doesnt have that... we would have ti find a way to shield Mars from dolar wind.
Rhat being said, i love his vision and he and his comoany are ine of the inly few on Earth tryinf to make it a reality!
Mars core is molten iron, it just doesn’t generate a large enough magnetic field because of its size compared to the planet.
@@MythrealGaming Hmm, it would seem youre right. In an astronomy course i took a couple of years ago in college we were taught rhat Mars has a solid core. But it seems there is at least a molten outter core like you mentioned, but it has cooled faster than Earths and doesnt experience much is any convection.
Regardless my point still stands. The lack of convection currents means that Mars does not produce a magnetic field like Earth does. Any new atmosphere that does get put in place by "heating up mars" could be easily blown away by solar wind. It isnt as simple as bombing Mars. We would also need to find a way to shield the planet from Solar wind.
@@zaikura-chan6949 I was also taught that in school and that Pluto was a planet.
@@MythrealGaming There's NO plate activity or volcanism on Mars. That's a totally dead as door nail planet. Completely sterile like the moon.
Right... another HUGE issue is specific gravity there... I made a list of nasty's above.
Ingenuity, merci.
We should all help Elon get to Mars asap.
I can't wait for him to go!
Musk will blow all his money on the mars project, Just like he blew it all on Twitter.
Said the poor mfer that has done nothing with his life

@@MythrealGamingHa! Nice try but Elon is calling for more oil drilling! And he claims to be so very concerned about emissions as he flys around the world on his four private jets and spewing tons of EMISSIONS! Elon is a Hypocrite!
5 to 10 years to colonize Mars sounds very optimistic! Hope we do it
Is there a time frame on this project or just one two many beers
Mars is a giant, dusty freeze dryer and it would be a hell hole to try and live there. It's possible to mildly terraform it , but the technology and know-how is beyond our current understanding and ability. It would take an enormous amount of nuclear energy to mine, melt and process the resources of Mars. Transhumanism is the only mindset that can overcome Mars.
You can’t even mildly terraform Mars. Even if you were to release pure oxygen on Mars it will just DISSIPATE out into Space!
@@jmseippThat's why you build up the atmosphere first. To keep the oxygen trapped on the planet.
@@KarpetBurn Explain how you’re going to do that. “Build up the atmosphere.” Scientists say that Elon’s idea of exploding nuclear bombs at the Martial Poles to “release the CO2 trapped there” is stupid because there simply isn’t enough CO2 trapped beneath the Martian surface to ever be able to terraform the planet! Elon is living in a sci- fi fantasy dream world. Mars is a terrible candidate to attempt to terraform for many reasons. We can’t even alter a simple thunderstorm much less a tornado or hurricane. How are we going to be able to terraform Mars, a totally DEAD planet without a magnetic field to shield from the deadly Solar Radiation?!
It would make more sense to do an AI simulation of Elon going to Mars and then he can just say he went there.^
The guy cuckoo
Musk’s plans are always late and I think this one will be quite delayed.
Elon Musk SPACE-X held interviews of professionals to find a pilot for the first 'ONE WAY' exploration flight to Mars: Asking each candidate to NAME THEIR PRICE ...and GIVE A REASON WHY they should get the job.
1st up was a GLOBE EARTHER ...... he said "I want 10 million dollars" - and when they asked him why he wanted to be favoured with their selection he said.. "I have given my last 30 employed years to NASA - Space is my life - It's all I know - I want to be the first human to set foot on Mars. I fully understand that it's a one way trip... and I'd be honoured to donate my fee to MIT for research.
2nd up was a Micro-Biologist..... he said "I want 20 million dollars" - and when they asked him why he wanted to be favoured with their selection he said.. "I've given my last 40 employed years to Harvard - I know all biology inside out - I want to be the first human on this one way trip to discover new life on Mars... I will give 10 million to my family and donate the other 10 million to biological research.
3rd up was a FLAT EARTHER.......... he said "I want 40 million dollars " - when the interviewer asked him why he wanted so much more money than the others ...he leaned over and whispered... "20 million dollars for me..... I'll give you 10 million dollars ....and we send that fuckin GLOBER - now... WSY ? " 🤣
Before the turn of the century 👍👍
Honestly, I love the idea and thought. But, also have a weird feeling if we go messing with mars we could unintentionally cause an issue in our solar system. We are literally beings of shear luck. Things had to line up just right for us to be here.
1st thing humans will build on Mars: a cemetery
I hope Elon sends himself to Mars first and takes up permanent residency there.
With Elon gone there'd be nobody left to do anything about anything. Bezos would be next in line, and he's more interested in personal luxuries than making things happen.
😂
@@richardpeters4086 there is no mars
@@tonyhawk123And you don't think elon is interested in personal luxuries either? Oh please 😂
@@MagicToenailHe's already one of (if not) the richest man on this planet. He has all the luxuries human technology can provide. He's past that point now, the real luxury is actually contributing to Humanity's future, and having the tools and ability to turn humans into a space faring civilization. No amount of "luxury" can permanently engrave your name in history as the man who funded and blazed the trail towards the colonization of Mars.
It all sounds a bit daft to me. What I want to know is how far into the trip is the shuttle (or whatever people are going to travel in) at the point of no-rescue in our capabilities as of the first attempted trip to Mars. . When in the journey can a rescue shuttle never get to them to help them if they are stranded with no chance of repair?
The air ship is running late again, nobody breathe for a few hours, ok? 😂
Literally, after leaving the Earth is the point of no chance for rescue
Always build in redundancy, you would make want a few ships to go along side with extra life supports and supplies you can also have thing already on the planet or in orbit.
@@gamesoticIt would take about 6 or 9 month to reach mars. The traveller may go to cryosleep. They could even use drug to relax their mind and body to avoid stress between travellers.
lol … cryosleep 🤡
We should practice this road by colonizing the moon first. Something goes wrong, the help is much closer and we get to observe what works and what doesn't. The machines and parts are more easy to replace while in Mars it takes months to deliver anything.
Certainly Sir
Surely the moon first and then after we have the technology then on to mars but we are a long way from doing either at present we might have had a base on the moon if they had not stopped 50 years ago
Will there be a wifi access just asking ?
Sorry no Instagram on Mars
This guy turns more into Gavin Belson every single day.
Can we get a video on alien language and how we would communicate
What?? We don't even know if there are "aliens" out there, let alone if they're intelligent enough to communicate via language. Discovering those two things probably comes before attempting to decipher their language lol
Saw this already "For all Mankind"
People on earth would be like Superman to people on Mars because the gravity there is only 38% of what gravity is here 🦸🏻♂️
Yeah Sir because certainty comes from EM Sir
kinda crazy thinking that if half the people in the world offered 20 dollars to extend our possibility of existing beyond Earth and all of the tools and resources needed that goes with it, we'd already be that much closer. there's like 8 billion people alive today..4 billion people sparing 20 dollars? Bruh, 80 billion dollars. even after whatever gets taxed...that's pretty incredible. that's all I'm saying
The moon landing cost 257 Bn. The distance from earth to Mars is 200 times further than the moon. 80 Bn is literary a drop in the ocean
Mars is not good for Human Colonization because Mars does not have gravity that is similar to Earth. Gravity is important for human health. If we change Mars' gravity to earthlike gravity, it will effect the Earth orbit and we do want to do that. Therefore Venus is the best candidate for colonization if we figure out how to transform the atmosphere. Mars can be useful for a manufacturing industry because it offers lower energy cost. Also a good site for military weapon testing.
Most humans do not know how to brush their teeth or be courteous … ‘transform’ ?
Radiation, energy deficit, problem
When we learn how to superposition our electromagnetic frequency.
I wonder what new discoveries about Mars we could uncover by living there. It's intriguing to think about the secrets it might hold and how it could change our understanding of the universe.
Humans are not going to live there
Under who's or what countries authority would a mars colony fall under? How would we enforce that rule of law and what does it look like? Are humans born on Mars still considered humans or does a Martian birth make them something different? Is it even a necessary risk sending humans to a inhospitable planet or is it cheaper and more efficient to send drones and robots initally? Shouldnt humans be the last piece of the puzzle on a newly developed planet, why risk human health and safety in the initial development phases?
We have already been sending rovers for the past decade at least. In order to put the rover on the planet we had to make a rocket capable of travelling that distance and successfully landing. Now we are in the process to see if we can safely transport humans from Earth to Mars, and if we can safely return them back. That's it. Colonizing the planet comes WAYYY later when we're 100% confident that a manned mission will be successful, and we can efficiently transport materials to and from Mars, just like how we built the ISS.
It is one thing to experiment with humans in a controlled environment to try and prediction how they would react in the real world.
The danger is that we humans are extremely unpredictable and therefore the Standardization Procedures that first Mars colonizers are going to come with may prove to be a recipe for disaster.
We, the Kingdom of Kush project, on the other hand, are planning to do something very very similar to joint Mars Colonization mission... Only we want to do it in the real world with real people and real challenges similar to those facing humans in general when it comes to the Mars mission. By setting up a physical presence o our reinvented state on an unclaimed land in the Nubian desert.
We are observing and learning from the plans of SpaceX in order to apply the same, albeit on very minimized scales, in order to reinvent, sell, plan and establish what could potentially be the 55th state on the African continent.
But the real kicker here is that SpaceX and NASA could study our success in this reestablishment project to come up with more informed, better tested standard.
Understanding Mars is Understanding Geology of EARTH?
Mixed feelings. I want to humans to live on forever. But humans in their current form. Don't deserve this planet, let alone to go destroy more. An extinction event doesn't seem all that bad, return earth back to being "The garden of eden".
Actual terrorist mindset right here. Yes humans are greedy selfish creatures, and yes in our past we damaged the planet irreparably with the Industrial Revolution and stuff. But we recognize those errors and it's not too late to fix our ancestor's mistakes.
U are crazy
I wish there is a way I can talk to Elon musk himself. He have a wonderful vision and he's put effort to make it real but he's not a super man , no matter the resources he have Mars is tougher than one man. Am surprised all this while no one has come to assist him in this great idea of his. Musk have to get other people to come to his side and get this thing done. We who fan him should make this campaign.

Eli musk is a genius of our time. I love this joke why does why does Eli musk want to go to Mars? He wants to go home.
When you say colonize do you actually mean living there and raising a family?? What parent would be abusive enough to even ponder condemning a child to live on a dead planet where he could never breathe real air or even touch his world and never be able to go back to Earth because the gravity would shatter his bones? Imagine a 180 pound person suddenly weighing 450 pounds?
Humans do not change that much. They will just have weaker bones and muscle.
They can replicate earth gravity with artificial gravity or heavy lift training.
Lobonyarear… lol
I love this video. #Planet_Hopping 😊
What you were shown, was not Mars, while you were treading on it, but the very Earth, after all that you have invented destroys it, long after you're gone. The wolves will have it, though you meant it for clean hands.
Why would anyone want to live on Mars?..It is right in the middle of the dangerous asteroid belt?
Why don't we try to colonise the moon first?
We are by 2030 . Mars 2050
The moon is more difficult is some ways. Severe Temperature change, no atmosphere and less gravity.
