A felon having a firearm was just something they could get a wareant for to get this criminal. They wanted him for a bunch of reasons im sure.

The broken yet lucrative justice system has failed these policemen and our communities. Judges and the defending attorneys should be held accountable.
Everybody that lost their life in that raid is a victim. A victim of unjust laws, misplaced priorities, and bad policing. This style of "raid" where the cops play soldier and rush into a residence with guns blazing is unnecessary and totally TOTALLY uncalled for! They have resources to surveil the subject and stop and arrest him at a place where he wouldn't have a tactical advantage, and in a place that would be safe for bystanders as well. But no! They insist on playing dress up and pretending they are soldiers! For the sake of their ego and to justify ever increasing budgets to get more "toys" and of course some extra to siphon into chief's yacht and mansion fund.
