- What an incredible find! For this hunt, I was metal detecting at the beach. I used my Minelab Equinox 800 metal detector, which I recommend to anyone looking to get an upgrade to their gear. I love finding awesome jewelry like this while metal detecting and treasure hunting. I don't typically metal detect at the beach but I have fun when I get to.

Minelab equinox, they run between $800 to $1,000; dollars give or take. Minelab probably makes one of the best machine's out there.
