Your channel has a lot of diversity, which I consider the best format. On your Pioneer P20, it has the easy arc starting, which is a compression release set up that came stock on them. Keep on doing what you like to do on your channel.
@ Mrobseletesvintagehomesteading thank you sir and yes you are right it is the easy arc. I forgot about that so it probably has a lot more compression than it feels like “eh”? Lol
I think as some other commenters pointed out, a diverse channel with different content is a good idea. Shorter videos on a regualr schedule is probably the best way to reach an audience. Say once a week, make a 10-20 minute video. This gives people something that they will look forward to. Make a video to be ready for upload every saturday, or even every second saturday. It could be anything. Saws, atvs, camping, survival etc.. i think everyone here is here because we enjoy that kind of content.
@theoverlanderutv thanks that’s good advice! I was watching lots of UA-cam videos and actually I even talked to UA-cam themselves, and they claim that uploading every day is the best way to gain more subscribers. I know for myself if I’m watching a channel I can’t watch their videos every day lol. But I suppose I could stick with my shorts, videos, and then make longform videos more regularly .
Never change the name its good and it fits. If you decide to create a second channel for chainsaws only stuff call it "Chainsaws Indeewoods" lol. I don't mind the chainsaw content my favorite is the camping trips and trail videos. Going to old cabins and adventuring through the bush haha. Can't wait for those summer trip videos to come out, climbing the mountain with team china that'll be a good one. Glad the channel is growing looking forward to more content in 2024!
@CodyOATV ok I’ll keep the name. Yes I’m working on those videos trying to shorten them up a bit. Not many people these days want to watch a 2 hr video it seems..
In my personal opinion… monetarily a second channel would be the right move. Unfortunately, I enjoy a single channel with diverse content that I can follow. Maybe focus on 10-20 minute videos that todays short attention span can absorb more easily? All I ask is that you make videos that you enjoy, and I’ll stick with it to the end.
@k1ssass I think you hit the nail on the head there people like short videos these days it seems. I don’t know if I can tell a story in 10 minutes though lol I’ll have to look at some of the big channels that get lots of views, but I’m thinking a 25 minute range is about the max for keeping people interested these days. But I do know I have a few subscribers that say they prefer the long videos so I guess I could just throw one in the odd time and if somebody wants to watch it, they can if they don’t they don’t have to they can just wait till the next one.
Hello! new to your channel. Tell you the truth, I like what you do. If you build it, they will come..lol I think if you integrated hiking and mountain biking it will help. I am into sxs and atvs. So hard to say from my point. Question tho, could you maybe show maps of your trails? We come to mountains every year but I would like to instead of backcountry hiking and camping. Do some utv and quading camping. Thanks from a new subscriber
@jollyjoe1544 hello there. My name isn’t Kevin btw. If I do hiking videos it will be to go find something interesting maybe an old ghost town or abandoned “something”. As for maps I don’t usually do that because some areas I visit are best left for people to find on their own. I know it’s tough when someone is travelling from far away. The problem is, if I start leaving GPS coordinates of some of these hidden gems where I go camping every Tom, Dick and Harry would be showing up and the chances of people being able to camp in those areas would be slim to none and since it’s all random camping that I do there’s never any guarantee that any one particular camping location is going to be available when you show up. Sometimes I will talk about a certain area and if you watch my videos, you’ll see that I I give plenty of information of where I’m camping so as long as you can get that info, it’s not hard to Google and they will be all sorts of things for you to at least get to the area and then you could check it out for yourself. Sometimes we have ATV, friendly campsites that are not as popular, but for somebody coming from far away, it would be a good base camp to set up and to explore that particular area and then you would know other places to Random camp the next time you came. Hope that helps.
No that's sounds perfect! I actually hang my hat in the grand old saskatchewan. Exploring is my family's middle name..lol We do have a main campsite in the northern sask bush but we have deep down love for the mountains. Thanks for the reply and we will definitely be heading up to your neck of the woods. If we do come on down some day, I will do my part to help with any trail if need be, as I always do. Maybe someday we will meet, never know...lol Take care and keep the vids going!
Oh and I get it about the hole Tom dick and Harry come out. A lot of people don't respect much these days. I see that all the time in Northern sask. Sad but it's true, trails are torn all to hell and some a person can't even ride anymore. We don't do the hole get up and rip up, we drive slow and enjoy..lol Thanks again
@jollyjoe1544 it’s actually pretty good out here most people keep their camp absolutely spotless, but you’re always gonna get the odd one that doesn’t. We have a big drug problem in this province seems like it’s in the whole country but a lot of them come to these campsites and they stay there for months on end and then when they leave it looks like five tornadoes ripped through simultaneously. People are reporting things like this more and more all the time so it’s really helping out. It’s actually really clean around here in her back country. As for the trails we have some of those that used to be easy to ride and now they’re impossible but I was young once too and I try to never forget that be ause for some people hitting the mud is extremely fun so if we can do it in a way that doesn’t harm the environment I don’t see the problem. Most people just stick to the trail and as long as there’s a good bypass around the mud hole, I don’t mind so much.
👍👍Kevin….do what you want to do.
Thats the best unboxing yet. Out in the woods and a warm fire. Merry Christmas.
@jaythe306snowmexican thanks Jay you bet Merry Christmas to you too.

@jollyjoe1544 sounds awesome I’ve always wanted to check out northern Sask. Heard it’s similar to Alberta but without the mountains. It’s on my list.
