Used to be the same with me, hated the dukes when it launched, never had a soft spot for KTMs, but once i took the leap and rode a friend's duke, hooked me instantly, what a machine it was, the buttery smooth pull at 5000rpm just hit the spot. and now 4year of proud ownership of 2020 Ktm 390 adventure
I have a Duke 200. I used to be a KTM hater. KTM means " Chapri" bright orange means "Chapri" , then like you I needed Power, Mileage for daily long commute, since I loved R15 that went out of window because of aggressive sitting position, MT15 also didn't workout due to short pillion space. Bajaj has this chain sound issue. For some reason I started looking for KTM videos. Got to know how elegant these machines are. Also realised it's not the Bike it's the riders which are the problem. Now I proudly own a Duke 200
You’re sharing real facts and authentic experiences-hats off to you, man! Truly inspiring. It takes real courage to share your story and make such a bold shift from being an RE enthusiast to a KTM lover. Plus, dealing with the fear of being labeled 'chapri' requires guts. Respect! I believe 'chapri' is purely a mindset and the result of actions by a few hooligans, not true bikers. A motorcycle can never be 'chapri'.. it's just a machine, a work of engineering and passion. ❤️❤️

Recently I told him, "bhai humse aur na ho payega" First thing in RE that the weight distribution is shit. Second it's very heavy. I live in Thailand, I was gonna buy the RE interceptor 650, and I ended up buying the Honda ADV 350 (it’s a 350cc maxi scooter not sold in India unfortunately), and I do not regret one bit, it’s got a massive unseat storage so practically is great, very comfortable to ride cause it’s really a touring scooter, and enough power for my needs, the drawbacks are it’s only got 11.7l tank but it can still do more than 300km of range, and the suspension is damm stiff. Other than that I’m happy, however I will eventually buy the RE interceptor Bear 650 cause I fancy owning 2 bikes, a maxi scooter and a muscle motorcycle. Thanks for sharing us your experience.
Good honest review. I bought the KTM 390 Adventure in 2020 (just before Covid) after much research. Have test ridden all Adventure bikes which came after...but I feel the 390 Adventure is the best. We all know that in India, we don't have great roads for bike riding, so you can't go over 100 km/h for long. (This is not an issue with the bike, but in terms of road safety, one wouldn't even dare.) The Scram 400X runs smoothly under 100 km/h, which accounts for 90% of our riding. Kudos to the plush suspension and quality materials! I'm just a bit concerned about a few reviews mentioning shimming or engine noise.
Nice views..... some honest feedback... never keep your feet on the rear brakes... use the brakes and then keep the balls of your feet on the foot pegs....use the front brakes max times possible.... only during very slippery conditions use rears...and this applies to most motorcycles exception being american metric cruisers....cheers
Simple rule. If you enjoy a fun riding and want to improve your riding skills or need to use your skills always on the road, go for KTM. For royal enfield you don't need a sharp riding skill and you won't learn anything(except himalayan) and at last always it will be a boring riding
No worries the latest line up Royal Enfield bikes are also mostly cosmetics and repair parts will definitely make a huge hole in the pocket. Was planning to buy a Meteor 650 but it Just didn't make sense owning one as the repair parts were so damn expensive. Stiffer Suspension, decade old left mirror issue, chain issues and 3rd class headlight even in the premium bikes. Luckily there are so many good machines out there other than RE they does so many things better in better pricing and reasonable affordable maintenance cost. And believe me bro i must say it's a best bike on this segment,,what a low end torque,,
It's have 90 percent comfort and low end like re and 80 percent smooth like Honda and 80 percent first like ktm,,
Only u feel wind buffet after 110 in highway ,a good windshield can solv your problem easily,,
@@THE_ROCCO_SINCE_1993 @THE_ROCCO_SINCE_1993 I did test drive it, and to be honest, it's a jack of all trades.
Nice video 👍
Thanks 👍 stay connected!!
650 ke bhi breaks fail Hote h, not a very good experience.
Yeah!!
Bullet chapris usually like ktms also
🤣🤣🤣 lol
Nice views..... some honest feedback... never keep your feet on the rear brakes... use the brakes and then keep the balls of your feet on the foot pegs....use the front brakes max times possible.... only during very slippery conditions use rears...and this applies to most motorcycles exception being american metric cruisers....cheers
Learned it the hard way 🤣
Bro getting the 390 adventure was a great decision❤
Thanks 🙏🏽
Would I buy an RE, yes if I have money to spare and use that motorcycle only for short rides to cafe 😊
RE is RE. ❤
Indeed !!
you need to switch to splendor
No bro 😅😂
Try royal enfield hunter 350
I have, it’s an okay bike. More suitable for beginners or people who ride at medium pace
that's a motorcycle for beginners and lady riders
😂😂😂
You are young ❤ ktm

It's hard to shift from enfield 😂

Suspension will go faster 😢
Ktm may not exist bro, I hope it’s not true
Untrue. The question is who will own the brand.
It will be available in India if not anywhere else 🤣
@@The_MotorNomads 😂
I also waiting for adv 390
