- Just got the ecu back from main street cycle and it sounds great. Cant take it on the road for a test run because of where i live but thats ok, August is coming up soon..

I wish I would've done a decibel reading first. With the baffles in, its loud already. When they come out, well I pity the poor guy behind me!!! I don't think the trails I ride will allow it with them out, too loud..

We will be there that weekend as well. 2nd-5th. Not sure if we are doing bearwallow first or not. There is a great outlaw trail at Hobet mines. Look it up on the map, 8000 acres.

The unit sounds way better in person. Holy crap, its like a Harley in sound, no joke!! The unit is great for trails and just a good time. Im sure you'd like it if you were to buy one.
Love to know what you've done. Particularly with power mods and SUSPENSION which seems to be a big miss in the aftermarket world for cf moto. Without main street cycle ... we'd be screwed !
I have a 2021 uforce 1000 every time I go out it surprises people how well it does. I have the MSC Stage 3 clutch kit and just ordered the Moorhead control arms.
It kinda reminds me of the pioneer 1000. What size tires you running?

The more I look at the uforce xl 6, the more I like it. I almost wanna trade mine in but, not yet.
How much did it cost for msc to do the tune?
Does the tire on the back help with the buck of the back end over jumps or Whoops?
I cant say it does. But I would think it's all in the shock settings to help control this.

Never been there. My buddy Gary has been there and he hasn't been back since he started riding in Wv. Not to say I won't ever go to AOAA but I haven't made any plans as of yet.

I'm in the york area. We are doing a ride at Hatfield McCoy on the 2-5 of September. If you wanna come with us, that would be great. Riding where I live is almost impossible. No where to ride here close. But freedom is more important than convenience. As for the extras, I've been considering doing a video with all my extras with prices. Dont know if anyone would want it or not.
I can't be sure of what happened but my unit is dead. I added a dual exhaust and the MSC tune. And now the unit is dead in my garage and I don't have an explanation... What I do know is after the tune install I never got a chance to hit any trails til I went to Wv last week. So after the install, I never started it again til I was loading it on the trailer. I started it and let it idle. So while it was running I didn't hear the fan come on to keep it cool. I seen it was on the 4th bar and turned it off. It wasn't over heated but I didn't want it too so I turned it off. I went to the fuse panel under the hood and the fuse was blown. That bewildered me. So after putting a new fuse in, I went to start it and the starter was dragging so I blamed it on it being warm from the fan not being on. So now I'm in Wv and while running it, it felt ok and responsive to the gas. We would stop periodically to do whatever and went to start it and it was dragging again. So it did start and kept riding. I thought maybe too many lights on and was drawing too much power from the battery. So this continued for a couple of more days. Now the final day, we are at rock House trails running the Hell outta our machines and going to the water fall. Get there, turn it off and NOW its really bad dragging on the starter. I decide its time to get out because we have about 10 miles to our trucks. It starts and off we go at trying our best to get out before this unit takes a Grizzly Bear Shit on the trail. Welp, we didn't make more than about 1/2 mile and the unit acts like it starving for gas and stalls. Now I have Bear Shit between my toes!!! Im pissed. Can't hear the fuel pump pumping and the starter is dragging and now I'm broken like a bent dick dog!!! We hook the wildcat 1000x and my buddies new (CFMOTO 500 TRAL) to me to get me the hell outta there. Yup, 2 units up a couple of the hills. I have it home and I can't see it being anything I did to it while driving it although I run them hard as hell. I've tried changing the battery to get it to turn over but it still drags. I pulled a plug to relieve the pressure on the heads and same thing again. My wife insists I was trying to break it to get a new one when that's not true, I love the way mine looks and rides. So I'm gonna cool down now that I'm seriously blowing fumes outta my Ears and Ass and figure this out. So my recommendation is, do the tune if you wish but I would consider reading up on this a little bit more before you do this. Not buyers remorse on the unit but builders remorse on the upgrades.
Did you get it figured out. I was thinking about doing the same thing to mine except I have the cforce 800xc

Does The Ecu upgrade void the factory or aftermarket warranty
Not that I'm aware of. As a matter of fact, MSC sells the tune and they are (apparently) the number one seller of Cfmoto.
That looks badass it's me again I got to commend you you think you're horrible water I have to disagree flux core is terrible I got to Lincoln welder and start out with flux core you have to spot wobble that clean every single spot wall make it look like dimes using Scrappy's and look how much you have to turn it up for penetration underneath you should look like a
I've practiced some. I've put some of my stuff on a press to see if or where it would break or bend. It seems I do ok. I have a tig welder too i wanna start using but time is tough. Maybe someday. Thanks for the compliment.

I am from logan county wv and love the place. Labor day weekend we will he there hitting Hobet outlaw trails and probably ivy branch and rock house.
If you like fast pace and not as technical trails then ivy branch is the place to try. If you like more difficulty trails then bearwallow is it. Bearwallow is my favorite trail, period.

I am heading to Wv in a couple of weeks. I haven't tested it yet. Im so stoked to see how it does. There's some out there that hates MSC but I think they do good work and I'm sure I won't be disappointed...

I saw a video just the other day on the tune from MSC, totally disappointed that there was only a 2 horsepower gain for me not woth the money at all.
Absolutely didn't run right. After I sent my ECU to be checked, they said it was set to run way to rich below 6000rpm and way to lean above 6000rpm. I think that doing a clutch fix and a true dual exhaust is the real performance you would notice the most improvement. As a z950 owner, don't fall for all the bullshit out there about "THEIR" product is the only part that works or will make your unit better than others. Ask those of us who has their stuff and can tell you the truth.
I appreciate you telling me that cause I'm in the market for a 2023 z 950 H.O. Sorry you had to spend that kind of money and find out the hard way.
@@heavenswarrior26 It still isn't running right. My unit looks bad ass imo but it only moves if I haul it on a trailer. My opinion is that in the beginning I put an attitude box on it which is a tuner for the injectors where you change the fuel settings and then I got the MSC TUNE and popped it in and it was ok for about maybe 50 miles. Then stuff started happening. I've changed so many parts that all I have left to replace is the throttle body which has the TPS integrated directly to it and I'm thinking that the stepping is off now and all I can do is replace the whole part which is $800.00 delivered. But it's a lesson learned not to fall for others BS. It's sad to say but it's true.

No. I have a throttle body coming with the TPS integrated. All other fuel parts have been replaced.
@@sxsoutcast7651 I'm sure you have thought of everything. But I saw one of your short videos were you drove maybe 50 feet from your trailer and then it died. Now the video didn't show or explain much. But if it died all of a sudden then that sounds like an electrical short. If it kind of peetered out over a couple of seconds then that would be fuel issue. Good luck and I hope you figure this one out.
@@shannontyus4711 it starts now but if you try to drive it will stall. Seems like the stepping is off on the TPS. I can't reset it so I have to buy a new one which means I have to buy a throttle body which has the throttle position switch integrated on it. It's stupid that they did this.
