How can anyone with broken intake boot drive for so long that dirt ingested can damage cylinders? I mean, mixture gets so lean that you cannot idle normally anymore, what do you do then, adjust for more fuel? I had many broken boots, engine dies on idle asap, if you don't go straight for it, next time you cannot fire it up anymore normally. I just don't get how.

@@TomislavKoren my IT250 has just suffered a similar problem, fortunately it's between the carburetor and the motor so there's no way you can't realise there's a problem. An IT has plenty of vibration and heat cycles. But it's lasted 35 years or so before failing. I suspect the cfmotos problem is simply quality (or lack of) unless something physically damaged it. Guess we get what we pay for 😞 It was cheap after all.

Reverse chain skipped, shocks sagged after 100 trail miles, wheel bearings lasted 800 miles, bushings lasted 1200 miles.
