Hi guys, I was the guy that asked you to do a vid of the back of the D4. Many thanks for taking the time to do this to you both. Gave me a couple of good tips, especially in regards to wiring the lights on the roof rack. Having the turnbuckles makes the whole thing removable as well, great idea. Cheers James
I like it good job, no wasted money just function. I’m currently doing the same, managed to squeeze two yellow top Optima batteries underneath the 2nd row middle seat
Thanks Alden. Through the fire wall? Once battery is removed. Your able to use existing cable glands. I mounted switches in the top glove box so everything looks original and it easy to access the cables. To get to the rear of the car I ran the cable behind the left hand kick panel and under the floor carpet trims
With the rail you put down, do you need to do that to clear the tail gate or can you fit them straight on top of your seats. Currently looking at doing the same thing to my D3
Hi Zacko. Nah the rail helps for clearance and accessing the spare wheel winch. I had the draws laying on the seats when I first purchased . Only became a problem when I got a flat tyre in the rain and had to pull everything out including the draws to access the spare tyre. But as a consequence added a nice storage spot of the table. Good luck and see you on the tracks
Nah not noticeably. Fine in day to day driving. When offroad it's kind of hard to determine what's making noise with all of the gear in the back of a wagon.

Awesome. I think Ledbrook knows a good Electrician 😉

Oh nice work. That would be clean and neat.
My dad takes his roof rack off when we're not camping
It's a good idea if not too much hassle.
@@OutdoorsCBR it does not take to much time to get it of or on so it makes it easy for us
Great idea on running the wires through the back instead of the A-pillar. Once inside the cabin how did you route to the engine bay/dash?

Take out the last set of bearings and it will turn your slide into a tilt slide
Not a bad idea!
Hey team, what size drawers are these ones?
Hey mate, pretty sure the are the 900mm long Adventure Kings Titan drawers. You can look the full dimensions up on the 4wd supercentre website
Are those draws noisey whilst travelling?
