then I reloaded and went there before the mission and the dialogue was the exact same one as in the video

I know this is 2 years old. It I recently started playing the game and I'm really proud of the reverend. It's very hard to kick addiction but he did and he stepped up when stepping up needed to happen. I'm really happy he turned his life around and recommited himself to the cloth for good
Always had a sweet spot for Mary-Beth. Glad she got what she wanted. Truly a heartwarming moment in a world sorely lacking in them
Princess Wolfy Me, too. I would’ve liked to see Arthur move on and maybe have a romance with Mary-Beth. It’s a shame
Princess Wolfy I felt she did have something for Arthur but then Kieran came and eventually she began to care and show more affection to Kieran
I felt that way about Tilly. Always the optimist, she got her happy ending. The meeting between her and John was really sweet.

The only reason Arthur and John "lost" during the final confrontation in Beaver's Hollow is because every shooting worthy gang member that would have sided with Arthur either died prior to that or was absent during the conflict: Sean, Kieran, Hosea and Lenny all died, and Charles and Sadie went away before it started. Susan herself died BECAUSE she sided with Arthur.

A majority, if not all these people would’ve joined Arthur
If they were alive and joined Arthur then Mrs. Grimshaw would’ve most likely lived, Arthur would’ve lived longer, Javier and Bill would’ve probably even joined up with Arthur, and Dutch would’ve probably never gone down this road because he had most of his men and Women still alive. He mainly fell apart because everyone was dying. If everyone lived then Micah wouldn’t have an opportunity to get to Dutch’s ear
@@quiet3455 and even if Micah did get to Dutch's ear, all of them would have probably killed Micah right there, or even Micah and Dutch, not to mention the Pinkertons, and even if all of them went their own separate ways and Bill still became the criminal he was in RDR1, John wouldn't have to deal with Ross in the future, because Micah would already been killed, so Ross would have never been able to get to John

Actually if you watch the end credit scene you see that Pearson is the one tipping off to FBI where John lives

final Strange Man mission at the Beecher's Hope. Strange man admires the spot he and John is (John's funeral site) John says ''Damn you'' Strange Man responds ''yes many have'' And John shoots 3 bullets and 4rd bullet doesn't fire. Those 3 bullets foreshadowed John's, Uncle's, And Abigail's Fate. Fourth bullet which was Jack didn't fired and Jack is alive.

I chased and got on the train to catch up with Mary Beth, unlike Pearson I couldn't rob her so I threw a dynamite stick and walked to the next compartment. Ten seconds later I walk to her body and it says press R to Pick Mary Beth so I picked her up and jumped off the train. Had to drop the body on the tracks because people would freak out at the sight of it.
BTW I didn't hate her character or anything, just was curious and one thing led to another.

I’m glad Mary-Beth got a peaceful ending because she’s always the quiet one in the camp not interfering or agreeing like going on a mission, she always reads “silly romances” and always have small conversation with others and had a soft spot on Kieran.

Mary Beth helped them rob the first time they went to Valentine. Also Tilly was nice to everyone including when Keiren was tied to that tree.
@carltonbanks5470 even before that, if you do the companion mission of robbing a stage coach with Sean and Mary Beth, Arthur explained when they first met her, she was a master of pickpocketing, having a bag full of expensive watches
Glad some of them survived. Feel good watching them.

When I was complete with American Venom, I looked at a newspaper and saw, "Micah Bell is dead." Also, when I looked at another newspaper after American Venom, it was talking about how Dutch's gang was fallen apart. It mentioned how Hosea and Arthur died. Some people were wondering why it didn't mention the other gang members, but Arthur was Dutch's best gunslinger and Hosea was one of the important parts besides Dutch.

If the next Grand Theft Auto is set in the 1980s, Rockstar can connect it with the RDR universe.
Since Jack Marston was born in 1895, he would be about 85-94 at that time. Imagine him as an old man retiring in Vice City, who tells people stories about his youth in the Wild West. It could be an awesome easter egg.

I don't think it's in the same universe, since California is mentioned multiple times in RDR2, while it doesn't exist in the GTA universe.
@hotguy 17 It's called Chelonia in RDR2 and Epsilon Program in GTA. The Chelonia guys also don't use 'kifflom'. They don't have anything in common, as far as I know, aside from being a cult.
Honestly, there should be special dialogue when you talk to the former gang members when you're wearing Arthur's hat.

Michael Mahin man I f’ed up so I was doing the first mission with her and I had my bow out and there was a bunny in front of me and she was standing next to me and i accidentally shot her with the arrow and she ran away and then I killed her

I love that the game doesn't tell you these exist. Exploring the world, and suddenly seeing one of the gang members actually feels like seeing your old friends after many years, and not like a scritped event.
First time I met Pearson at his store, I was doing the Bandit challenge where you have to rob multiple cash registers in one day. I ran into the shop, Pearson said: John Marston! I had this instant where I said to myself Oh Shit! Then proceeded to rob him anyway because there was no way I was failing this challenge. Next time I went to see him, he asked me if If was going to rob him again and then the whole telling each other’s stories dialogue started so it was all water under the bridges from then on.

I like how when Arthur said 'but avoid Guarma', Charles just looked at him for a second and smirked then looked away. Nice detail from Rockstar to add that. It was unnecessary but they still decided to add it.
This game makes me feel depressed. You start off with a big group. Family. And you lose every single one of them. By the end of the game you got nothing left to do, no friends besides uncle and his L U M B A G O

This game did such a good job getting the player emotionally invested in the gang. It really hits you in the feels every time one of them leaves or is killed.

I actually liked the words of Reverend more that the words of the sister.
But with the sister Arthur got very emotional. However I love Swanson and was glad that I got to see how he ended up in my game
Swanson's was great for the character redemption arc, from a drunken failure of a Reverend to a proper man of the cloth, but the scene with the Sister really did a lot more for Arthur as a character.

I'm pretty sure that Micah kills cain. And that's represent how Micah technically destroys the whole Van Der Linde gang apart, since Cain is the dog that represent Van Der Linde gang's life (at least that's what i get when Dutch named that dog).
I went into this game knowing full well that all of these characters that we are gonna get to know are either going to be dead, or out of the game, in RDR1. SO WHY THE HELL DOES IT AFFECT ME SO MUCH!
Pearson never really talks to me, though I’ve been to his store many times since completing Arthur’s storyline.
I like how I encountered Mickey with John (One armed guy in Valentine I think he is called mickey), they had a very similar conversation to the one between John and Rains Fall, except when John said Arthur saved his life Mickey was surprised and said Arthur didnt seem like the kind of man to do that, but Rains Fall reacts completely opposite, saying he isnt surprised one bit, he really did see the best in people
I love seeing reverend able to actually make coherent sentences that don’t involve shame or self pity. He actually got his act together by chapter 6.
Trelawny's life is full of mystery. No one knows if he has a family or not? Where he is coming from? He lives from place to place. He also called magician for some weird reason. He was sharing information to the gang but didn't how he did it. He is like a time traveler.
He does have a wife and children though, they live in Saint Denis.

No one seems to know what happened to her officially. I remember Tilly Jackson sent John a letter saying she probably died from drinking too much, but that’s pretty much it. Kinda messed up how literally everyone got an official ending but Karen..

Its likely that she died from drinking. She was pretty depressed by the end of the chapter 6. Even Arthur was worried about her and hoped that Mary Beth can save her when u read his journal.

Love to see the ending for Reverend Swanson... somebody so plagued with sin and addiction for most of the game, to really winning back the title “Reverend” and gaining back his faith; I played RDR2 with high honor, and never really bought the newspapers, so I never knew what happened to Swanson till now; glad to see Rockstar allowed his character to progress back into faith and goodness.
i got teary eyed reading Tilly's letter, god damn rockstar really got me emotionally attached to some silly little cowboys

I don't know why but John's interaction with Rains Fall is so heartwarming for some reason. He gives a calming and peaceful vibe
I really prefer the reverend swanson cut scene instead of the nun one. It has more meaning seeing one of the camp members that u interacted with throughout the story and saw change and to see them leave the camp
This is John's way to get your honor all the way up which is great!

I think that in the high honor version you understand what the gang become without hosea. In fact, for me, at the end of the game you're Hosea. You are trying to make Dutch understand what's happening to the gang and you help a lot of gang members escape from that situation.
If you do the bad honor version, you're Micah. You kill just for fun, you rob every person that you meet (the disabled people too) and at the end you're just following dutch's plan (make a lot of caos, kill a lot of people and rob everything that you find).
third time replaying the game and cried like a baby just as much as i did the first. i really regret not finishing the hamish missions as john, but i have a horse named after buell in his honor. i also wish that charlotte would of been seen at john & abigails wedding
