@@djcarlo Coming from a Piorneer SSX2, I have alot of muscle memory to perform to be comfortable playing live with it. I got it mostly for STEMS knowing everything else a DJ would need would also be present. Sat I was having regrets as I had just figured out how to play STEMS on my SSX2, but this video made me want to learn this deck as Im not usually wowed DJ, rather very impressed, but this demo just had me sitting there looking at the deck asking wtf am I doing...lol

Hi , love ur sound. Thinking of upgrading to one with a lc6000 added on. Can u midi map the rane four fx channels buttons. I would use my cue buttons , so I can use fx s on more than one channel at a time.

I used a 2019 MacBook Pro when doing these stem mixes! Maxed out specs for it (because I also use it to edit my videos haha)

This was nothing short of amazing!! OMG!!! One question tho, do the tracks still have to be loaded in the STEMS crate? That take up storage to my understanding.
They do. One of the drawbacks on Serato is that they actually create separate files for your stems, so it takes up quite a lot of space

Hi Carlo :-) I have a Denon Prime 4 for about 5 years now, which I mainly use at weddings. I want something new and am between the Pioneer FLX-10 and the Rane 4. what would you recommend me?

Ohhhh, good question. The FLX10 is near perfect for Rekordbox, while the Rane 4 is your best bet with Serato. So it might just all boil down to your software!
Hi carlo im' currently using a denon mc 7000 and im planning to buy a ddj flx10 or rane four. What do you think of the fx of the rane four as compared to the quality of pioneer fx?

More to come for sure Positive P! And honestly, the jog wheels are sliiiightly heavier, so the 1000 wins out there for me, but with every other feature, the Rane Four pretty much stands as the winner!
I use the One, and have stems mapped, is it really worth it for the step up to the four? I love the feel of those spinners.
I dont feel like you can say it's an upgrade, since they both have pretty different functions and features. If you love the One, and don't really need stems, you don't need to change controllers 😄

I’m not sure if I want this or the flx10. This would be my first controller. My current setup is 2 tech 1210’s and pioneer DJM S11. Would like something more portable like this.
If you're looking at scratching, go for the Rane One or REV 7. Their layouts are closer to the S11-1200 combo

@@djcarlo Been waiting since late January. So not too long. Originally a was just interested in the DDJ800 but after one of your 800 videos I found the 1000 and decided I really needed a 4 channel. Everything I been looking at has been with Rekordbox and not Serato. I'd like to play with STEMS but its not a priority but it would be nice. See my dilemma 😂.

I normally keep my parameters at 1/2. The thing is, I encourage you to find your perfect parameters that fit your mixing style and whatnot. That's why I don't usually make videos on the parameters themselves, though they're detailed every so often in the Mix. Try playing around with them bud! Youll have a blast! 😄

Is it possible to make bpm match on recordbox without using the master sync (what i mean is that i don't want my beat grids to match but the bpm only) thankfull for any help!
Well, yes but manually. Beatmatching using your ears would be the best thing to do there!
