- I know this might upset some people but, this is sorta a warning? I don't want to see this game suffer the same fate that Grand Fantasia did, so, I just wanted to ramble so you can see a different perspective from an old player.

I love the economy atm. I go do dungeons. I come back to town. Buy a cosmetic, throne, mount, etc. Forever upgrading my characters, and working on their looks at same time atm. Not to mention learning I can archive unbound items too. Allowed to to start sniping some really good options to sell down the road!
I keep debating if you're going to focus on this, or something else, because the content creation side seems completely untapped when you walk away. Partially tempted to re-open an old passion if you're not going to take advantage of it.
As someone who grinds all 26 dungeons each char/day btw.. attempting with two chars. I can promise you; none of you are ready to get an uncapped dungeon amount... lol. I feel the bags under my eyes from this grind!
I mean you should absolutely also make content too!! I don't want to be a Grand Fantasia only channel, but it's clear that's where most of my following is 💞 and literally people already hate grinding dungeons, and they want no cap on it? 😭
Level 78 was the sweetspot for so long, grinding MOs for months and instigating inflation.
It looks like there is an incomplete system to buy M-clay through some magic coins sold at an Alchemist, but it won't get implemented in time, most likely.
If I had my way, I'd double or triple the amount of mclay you can get from 19 AP/GP and also have a vendor in the game that will sell mclay for gold.
Let's just say you can buy 1 mclay for 80 gold and you can buy 10 mclay, per day, per character, from this merchant.
It gives everyone a chance to at least have a bite of the cake since they may not want to grind to max level just so they can swipe on PayPal 😂
That's a great idea but if a worker at X-Legend did that they'd definitely be fired because its too selfless 😭🤣
You should have titled this "My REALISTIC take on the economy of this game".
Those who would hate you for this statements are the ones who killed old GF, so let them hate, you don't want those people near you, they do not care about the game or playerbase at all, they just care about getting chances to exploit the game somehow.
I didn't get as much pushback as I expected actually. Some yes, but I guess I am fairly good with expressing my opinion in an understandable way 💞
When I quit old gfo 12 yrs ago, clays are 300g each. That time game was dying because to much greedy players raising the price of.clays, mats and etc. Now clays on Origin is 80g each nearly 100g maybe it will go up on the coming weeks. Me just enjoying the game with my Bro happy being a f2p player.
I spent a tiny bit but not much and mostly on clothes lol, so I am almost f2p as well, and just vibing 💞🙏
It got way worse over the years. I was a long-time F2P player...a DS/Phantom/MechMaster main...and the people who could monopolize VFS profited the most at the end of the day. I sold PLVL, spammed my dungeon limits, and did all I could...made a good amount of gold...but it was wild seeing how crazy stat boosting got out of hand. I just started GF Origin...and the gold limitation is O_o.
@@LBVFISH Yea gold limit is crazy like 100% p2w now. f2p like us will left behind. stat boost was crazy now since almost Nucleus are out dem lol if you check rankings almost are p2w players. Almost top players are top tier spenders.

People want the game to die and they don't even know it's what they want 😅
It sucks that EN is just filled with greedy players, if you compare EN and TW servers you'll notice the big difference in the economy. SKB 3 is 150 gold there but it's still at 800-700 in EN. The crazy part is there's more whales in TW rather than in EN.
It could be that the large amount of players and whales makes these items more abundant therefore a lot cheaper! The more players, the more resources, the lower they sell for.
@@VickySpade That's true but I've been looking at rankings both the new Sprite Magic Land and current Rankings in Arena we do have some whales ( some doesn't even bother to climb rankings ) but the resell in the game, and market manipulation is crazy!
@@GFKhylle there's many people, including Guild leaders, running 100 accounts those 4 hours of sprite protection auto-play.
And yeah, we could all try to sell things cheaper, but we know what will happen, as you said, they will manipulate the market by buying all items to re-sell them, to then sell the gold for RL money.
Games are not games anymore these days, they're seen as business for many, and they ruin it for everyone else.
Just because something can be exploited for money, doesn't mean it should be, but every single one of them will say the typical "ur a looser; you think like a poor person; you've got to be a shark; if you don't exploit it others will anyway and so u are stupid"
m-clays were fine, then it started again, people buying and reselling, now it's doubled the price, and you notice it's not natural because it didn't went up little by little, clays just disappeared and appeared again, so, simple as that, some people bought them and are now reselling them.
@@VickySpade it's also because people there do not care about making money out of the game, they just play it and want other people to play too, so they roughly sell items to get what they've invested plus a little more gold, when a player base do that, those who are on top benefits the ones that are behind, because if you do the maths you buy that blessing and it saves you lots of golds, and for them who sell it is "well, I've got my item and so I wont need this blessing anymore, I've spent how much? 100G to get the item done, ok, I'll sell the blessing 150G and I get it back with a plus!" they don't think about "oh, I've spent a dollar on this so I should sell it so that I can sell the gold IRL and earn 2 dollars back!" that's the difference, they PLAY a game, while other people seems to try and run a business, but that is already being done by X-Legends my friends! so you should just play the game.
As long as they try to run a business inside a game that already is a business to a company they will always be let down, there are no good margin profits, or if they aren't let down, then the game will just die! And I'm not saying it out of thin air, just look at Tibia, old GF, New World, Lost Ark, Diablo III and now IV, even WoW! WoW! Blyzzard implemented that coin system and the game died hard! Games are meant to be games, not business (it's business but just to the owner). If they want to play a game and get profits they should maybe try to play some game where you can compete professionally, they would surely suck and not get hired by anyone tho'! xD

@@VickySpade I had gotten so many paysafe cards for gold back then. None ever got banned. GS's knew, also did the same.
Economy with clays to 400g in ah and 250 in bulk exchange in person was very nice. I had like 25 alts. Running them dungeons and also could leave necro's to farm repeatable Q items over night.. Not buffy pc back then, so had to make 4-5 windows accounts to leave them all run with 5 accounts open each xD
Not bragging, not being ashamed of it. Everyone was doing it. Everyone had money to buy things and have fun xD
Money milking company and ppl leaving for newer games screwed the economy imo.
I also played it for 6-7 years back then. tbh I won't bother to install the new version cause all the good feelings I have were guild fun and interactions oriented. These can be found in most games nowadays. Alts made f2p possible. It was fun as long as it lasted :)

there are many people who came from GF to Origin with the idea of getting profits again, they've killed GF and want to do the same here all over again. I've seen the post in old GF and here, every update they are always crying about this and that, but little related to gameplay (there are people who really want this GFO to be better) but about "ohhh, this game is dead already, p2w p2w, you should do this and that as we always tell you! and what they demand is making the game exploitable! Like dude! Get a job and let people PLAY a GAME! This is a game, it's not meant for you to get monthly earnings! it's made to be played! and if you want to support the company and also have some extra advantages you can easily just put 1-10 bucks a month and you'll be godlike! just 1-10 per month, that's none to maybe 4-5 burgers, I mean, really, you can't afford to spend 1 dollar a month?
I remember this game used to be a competition of wealth, everyone trying to spend as much as possible, and the game was dying because of it! you wanted a good weapon "press i", you wanted good gear "press i" it got to a point where not buying mall items made the game unplayable, then that was adjusted and the exploits begun, and those exploiters just demanded more and more until they killed the game!
Now this is quite playable, I've got 2 characters atm, in one I've spend quite a lot considering the laps of time since released, the other one I've spent 0, both good characters, totally playable and even the one I didn't spent money on is better in some areas. It's not real player base that puts those poop emojies in every update, we all know who they are! hope X-Legend knows it too and only listen to those who really want this game to be a fun mmorpg again and not to those who want it to be a single user chain block exploit app.
That's exactly what I mean, this is playable. A lot of the people I see truly enjoying themselves are either the old players who watched a game they love die, or the very new players. It's not without its flaws, but what people are asking for could kill this game entirely like old GF was!
