I was doing the thumbaround in class after like 3 min doing it i was looking behind me and there were like 7 people trying it and failing it it was really funny to see
Notes: • Its much harder to learn reverse when the weight is on the bottom so it must be on the top •Sometimes you learn how to do the reverse but you keep catching it wrong so to remedy that fold the last to fingers so that you'll get used to using only three fingers ( I used this method as I keep catching the pen with all my fingers. I'm not sure if this method will work to everyone since it may differ) • It takes time for your fingers to get used to the motion so don't give up as mine took longer than when I learned thumbaround • I'm not the best teacher but I hope it helps to all of you peeps I give my thanks to people who gives tips in the comments. You guys are awesome and I really appreciate the help no matter how small.
Do we actually though? Last I checked I doubt I need to know how to do matrices to survive, but there's always a probability of you being held hostage and the kidnapper demands you to do their math.
I was doing while I was hosting assembly (where like the whole school meets up and we discuss events and stuff) and I flung it into another host. Everyone watched as I quietly stood up (we were sitting down because someone else was talking about other stuff), and took my pencil. Never volunteered to host it ever since
Thanks for this vid i started pen spinning a week ago and iv mastered the thumbaround and im learning the reverse thumbaround your vids are the best for pen spinning Keep it up!
I've been binging these pen spinning videos, and honestly yours have been the most helpful👌👌 Now I can kind of do the thumbaround, but not really the reverse
ive been attempting this for a whole day now, but i can't seem to get the pen to even spin around my thumb. i believe this is cause of the muscle memory i've built up mastering the normal one, making the reverse feel like moving a brick between my fingers. any tips to overcome this? anything would help. thx a lot.
A mod I made is the BIGear Mod. It’s where I took a normal BIC 0.7mm Mechanical Pencil, removed the clip, and took four Pen & Gear Pencil Grips, (the ones that come attached) and removed those and put them on my BIC pencil. It works incredibly well! I highly recommend making one to those of you who don’t have any other pens like the ones in the video.
Ik this was a year ago but it may get stuck on ur index finger so u might wanna put it down in my opinion that is the hardest part and I don’t have fast enough reflexes yet to put it down fast enough
I think I've got the hang of it. A few tips I found along the way for anyone still trying to figure it out. Make sure to have the thumb kind of up like a thumbs up. Notice how when Q does the trick his thumb doesn't bend down very much. When catching the pen extend the middle finger farther forward while its curled for the landing zone.
I just accidentally did the thumb around, I was watching the video and doing some thumb around practicing and it was like boom! And the pen was back in the starting position!! 😆😆
a tip on the thumbaround revserse that I realized because I couldn't do it after a long time was that you have to keep your thumb striaght while doing it
the reverse one really tests my patience, i cant do it...the pen always collide with the base bone of my thumb and it frustrates me...im looking how you placed the pen and your fingers but still i cant grrr
For those of u who can't do thumb around...... I learned it within 1 day and it get smoother day by day....... If I can do it u can too.... Now working my way up to it's reverse version
thumbaround reverse takes longer than the thumbaround...i learned thumbaroud in less than a day when i was just playing with the pen.. its been a month im still practising thumbaround rev still cant make it perfect
a trick that helps me when catchin is i do the thumbaround and then immediately after i do the counter thumbaround, and the hand just kind of tries to do the reverse of what it did in the first place. TLDR just play your hand in reverse to catch it
Hey , try learning both of them at a time, If you try learning the reverse after doing the normal thumbaround for some weeks you have motion stuck in your brain
Hey dude, i was just wondering, every time i do the thumbaround reverse it really hurts on my top knuckle. Am i pushing too hard or do i need something lighter?
I’ve been doing for 3 days but still can’t get it right; how much time does it take for the average high school kid to get it right always P.S: Only thumbaround I’m talking about

@@0613apobangpo lmao I can just barley do it in slowest motion

Same. Me at midnight and all you hear is banging on my desk from my pen😂😂lmao
Thanks, ☺️. This is helping me to reduce a lot of stress from breaking my bottle twice.
You okay I mean you it twice and it's your water bottle
The reverse is harder than the normal one
Reverse is always harder
Agreed
Makes sense.
Yeah it is but if u keep practicing it , u will get it as i got
No shit

Jan Vladimir 蔡炳燃 十己 I’m REALLY good with the Thumbaround. My personal streak with my own modded pen is 16 normal TA (Thumbaround) spins in a row.

How long did it take you to spin your very first pen? (Please respond)
My problem is that the pen only rotates on my thumb, it doesn't go all the way around so I can catch it underneath.
slim and sexy pen tutorial? fuck yeah.
Hey , try learning both of them at a time, If you try learning the reverse after doing the normal thumbaround for some weeks you have motion stuck in your brain
You know what i can do with these three fingers
