There were also the variants for the _X-Men_ films. In several of the _X-Men_ movies, the "x" in "Fox" would stay on-screen for about a half-second after the rest of the logo started to fade out. And additionally in _Dark Phoenix,_ the x glows red and begins to smolder.
When the 1st X-MEN was released in 2000, I recall this being one of the last Marvel films to be released on VHS, with the sequel having a DVD-only release. Seeing that X staying lit a few seconds longer used to creep me out for some odd reason. Always loved that old school fanfare for 20th Century Fox. Shame future generations won't get to see new releases in theaters, thanks to Covid-19. Those days are as dead as Caesar....🇵🇷🇺🇸😪

I think this is a smart decision as Disney is making more revenue for their company leading to bigger and better movies
Disney buying to many companies
If Disney actually respected the legacy of Fox, they’d either keep the name or change it to 20th Century Pictures. Awful.
Disney changed MARVEL into the MCU. Now they're screwing up 20th Century Fox. NOT COOL😡

There were also the variants for the _X-Men_ films. In several of the _X-Men_ movies, the "x" in "Fox" would stay on-screen for about a half-second after the rest of the logo started to fade out. And additionally in _Dark Phoenix,_ the x glows red and begins to smolder.
Good catch 👍
In addition, as the X fades out, in DOFP and Apocalypse, a brief snippet of the X-Men fanfare is heard at the end of the Fox fanfare.
Good thing you noticed as well. X
Fox Film + 20th Century Pictures --> 20th Century Fox = Pre-Disney Era
20th Century Studios = Disney Era
I checked that FX, FXX, MTV, AMC, Freeform, INSP, and of course, HBO Max, the new streaming service all retains the former logo at the beginning of certain movies that you see on TV. I checked the opening so many times when it was on TV, but it’s not going to plaster the former TCF logos and other variants anymore, they should leave it alone. Let Disney do the thing.
The last one at 6:57 wasn’t that good. I found a better high quality version of the same logo under the new name. Thanks to “Pepsi9072” for finding this one.

Doc! That was so cool! Seriously. Thank you for compiling that logo history. They sure “prettied” it up for Avatar. And did not catch The Peanuts movie-fun Schroeder intro! I honestly agree-the Alita intro is best. So cool! 🍊🍊🍊🍊🍊
Those are not all of the intros.
Watch 20th Century Fox logo History it’s 1 hour and 52 seconds.
What a honor for a movie to be inside this intro, I'd love it.
This is the best movie company logo ever created. It's a pretty sad thing that they changed their legendary name.
Verigood
It was Disney who changed the name
Then: 20th century fox
Now: 21st century fox but its funk
The Alvin and the Chipmunks variation had me dying for help 😂😂😂😂😂
Imagine the 1914 people seeing the 5:19 one
Hum, what in the world is this?!
We should call this like 4d
Nah 3d will be sick
Ok!
They’d start crying in tears of horror, ripping their own eyes out, drenching themselves with lighter fluid and doing you know what!
Even before I started loving Fox movies I thought that the company logo had a grand, majestic, and graceful appearance that opens up the worlds of the movies under it's brand. But thanks to Disney that touch is gone. I used to want to go to the Disney parks, but now I have lost my desire on that as well.
3:17 Why is the Edward Scissorhands logo the only snowy and blue version of the 20th century fox?
I'm not even a big peanuts fan and that one's still easily my favourite
You have something mixed up.
2007: "Alvin And The Chipmunks"
It's actually supposed to be...
2009: "Alvin And The Chipmunks: The Squeakquel"

Nostalgia hitting me harder than that violin part at the end
