It must be frustrating but Rick was a good man who was out in all weathers rain or shine making sure that us liveaboards especially cc’ers always had what they needed. Going slow for a couple of miles is a very small price to pay. He had certain places to be at certain times. Much missed. Top bloke RIP mr Cooper.

That's Rick Cooper on fuel boat Auriga. Sadly that was his last run. He had a heart attack whilst passing Charity dock. Very sad but at least he went enjoying what he loved most.

I love narrowboat videos and this one is no exception. You keep it real with just enough commentary. The view into backyards and businesses along the canals is very interesting. Dicing it with that fuel boat was great! I like the back story and history of the places you pass too.

Sitting here with my afternoon cup of coffee, nice and hot. Rainy, cold day in Southeastern Ohio, watching the Friday Kevin and Aslan journey. Lovely.... Thanks and cheers!

Blood pressure before a life threatening 177/ 103 by the end a more reassuring 138/ 86........ Kevin and Aslan should be available on the NHS ... Thanks again Kevin
Wow that's a rather high reading. Hope you're medicated for it, Alex, if that's not too personal. My ex was on 3 pills for hypertension (not from being married to me I might add).
Hi kevin, hope you have had a good week? A brilliant vlog! Watching you and aslan on a town we work in and know all to well and seeing rick on the fuel boat one last time, emotional and priceless, thanks kevin and wishing you well 👍
I have to comment once more on your poised and patient attitude, especially when confronted by complications or hinderances; you seem consistently to face things unrattled, responding to circumstances positively and with a ready wit (even if at times a bit sardonic)...
Watching you caught behind that boat, then almost running aground and caught in those side winds was beginning to stress me out on your behalf, Kevin, but phew. Battled through and expertly so, even helping the fuel boat in the process, what a gent. Another fab Ep, with its usual high standards of storytelling & camera work. Perfection is beginning to be a habit, mate. Nicely done as per usual. Thank you. Loving these new eps, as much as I’ve loved all the eps prior to them. Much appreciated.

Love your blogs and videos. People that are narrow minded need to keep their mouths closed. Couple of years ago in my seventies took off by myself and drove the Northern part of the USA to Washington state by myself. I had worked for AAA . My father loved to travel and so didI. Everybody thought I was crazy but loved every minute of it. Dream came true. Do not give up your dreams. You are impressive in you dreams.
You encourage me, Barbara. I plan on doing that trip from Minnesota, West to the Coast. My Mom drove her 24 ft. RV BY HERSELF from Minnesota to Sun City, AZ when she was 84 (and a half) years old. Loved the "adventure" and had many stops. (Excuse me for this on your site, Kevin.) I'd like to know if anyone like us are solo on narrowboats!
Greetings from South Vietnam just took my morning blood pressure test and I'm glad to report it was the lowest reading this week. My mouth was watering in the butcher's shop, I'd have walked out with a black pudding and a pie or three, plus some well-hung beef. Then went the extra mile and showed us the Ruby Murrey. Well done great episode and I'm flying to UK next week for those pies. Stay safe and dry.
My Saturday routine now is get the shopping done early. Slice of toast with best butter on, freshly made coffee (with my aeropress) and settle down to watch your latest episode. Thanks Kevin it’s always a pleasure.
Before the music came up at the beginning, I was thinking, “These vids in winter are a whole different vibe” and you came on and said the same thing. Made me smile. A great exercise in patience mastered, well done. It was a nice change to see you in shadow during filming the countryside; still going to get that shot! Thanks for cheering up a loyal viewer with covid.
Yes shooting in the winter is often a struggle. Low sun for most of the day, seemingly always directly ahead and the light changing every 10 seconds. Good job I enjoy a challenge. Cheers,
