I wonder who would win? Shay cormac the Assassin turned Master Templar or Jack the Ripper, Could shay counter The rippers Fear tactics? Or would he fall victim to The rippers Blade.
Jack was damaged and flawed , but the reason he turned on the assassins had to do with how they treated him , at one point hit mentor stepped out of the father figure role and just looked at him as an another initiate , If he actually cared about Jack he wouldn’t have sent the very order that trained him , against him and so he killed every single person they sent after him , despite his mental instability he did not kill without reason and surely without truly checking himself to see what he was doing was right... you gotta understand at one point or another he realized how unstable he was and that in and of itself is what made him constantly check himself to make sure he was doing the right thing at least in his eyes ...Jacks story is actually more deep and painful than you could possibly fathom , it was the pain and not knowing how to handle it that drove him to the rage at which point he was consumed by it , but was he evil , was he without a heart, was he perfect ..no he was not , he was just Jack , he never saw himself as the ripper , he hated that name , but at the same time he knew it scared his enemies and so he kept it , and then people started killing other people and blaming it on him , also part of the reason the order sent people after him . Believe it or not , there were assassins jack could’ve killed but didn’t , he showed mercy cause at the end of the day some of the people sent after him , were only sent because of copycat killers , but on the other hand he did kill some assassins which in turn left the creed no choice but to exile him and persecute him .
What made Jacob think recruiting and mentoring Jack into killing was a good idea? Have you _played_ this game? Jacob's standard procedure and life philosophy is "kick ass, cause chaos and look good while doing it". Evie quite literally has to keep London from falling apart in his wake, because he's got into his head that he can live out a "Gangs of New York" fantasy while participating in an ancient war between secret societies. He isn't exactly a highly intelligent, observant, tactful or future-thinking individual. He quite clearly didn't waste a second thinking about Jack's mental state beyond "let's have fun, kiddo!", because he's got less empathy and room-reading (and probably child caring) skills than the Mace Windu, Naruto Uzumaki and Son Goku combined! This DLC is a Deconstruction of the "Batman and Robin" scenario, of a vigilante taking in a traumatized orphan who watched his parents die. No matter how much you preach "Thou Shall Not Kill", the best scenario is the kid ignoring you and avenging his parents violently. The worst scenario, a la Jason Todd, is him becoming a lunatic killer who doesn't care for your hypocritical pacifism and may just try killing you in a very Kratos-esque way. Also, I think Jack's mindset is that the Assassins should act more like the Templars. As in, a shadow organization that forces people to be good... by slaughtering anyone they deem to be bad, creating an atmosphere of fear. Think Light Yagami from Death Note, but more... well, Jack the Ripper. He intimidates high-society members, tortures and kills Templars for their assets, etc.
Kinda weird, that he's still famous to this day, although he "only" killed around 8(?) people, while there are serial killers these days and in the past who killed over 70 people and no-one knows them.
is jack the ripper has no work to do ,i mean at that time people had to work very hard to get a single piece of bite(food) , how did he even earn money if he spend all his time on killing .
I think it might have been a interesting twist for us the players to find out that jack was a child from a one night stand in the past (maby before syndicate begin). Maby jack knows this and that is another reason he hates him. I do wonder if Jacks crazyness might have been linked to his isu blood doing something weird after his weird life
Kinda wish it was just as simple as Jacob became his father figure, his insanity made him think he was his real father, he blamed him for not protecting his mother like he should have = the dlc happens
i still doubt that people in the ubisoft could give a better explanation than you did

"The man was fucking mental!"😂😂😂
Great Video 👍👍

"Good thing I saved this kid from this crazy asylum, I'm going to let him join the fucking assassins."
"the man is fucking mental" XD
I refuse to believe Jacob can be beaten by anyone
Just gonna gloss over the guy at 3:17 ?
Did the map change at all to show the passage of time for the DLC?
Great Video ^^
the story of Rack the Jipper is a funny one. Once upon a time, there was a boy named Rackard, whom everybody called Li'l Rack, in a small village. In this village, nobody knew how to Jip............
what? oh, it's Jack the Ripper?! sorry, never heard of him.. i only kno abt Rack.
If Jacob didn't take care of Jack but Evie taking care of him instead... He MAY have become a little bit more sane
still a little confused how jacob lost to jack,
Johnny Lin he injured him in the cemetery, then Jacob ran to his place where Jack finished him off while leaving him alive
And you also gotta remember it's 20 years after Syndicate's main story. So Jacob was also slowed by age.
Probably Jacob saw Jack as a son figure and couldn't bring himself to kill him or hurt him
ubisoft decided did narrow jacob’s skills to npc standards
Did they change the map to show the passage of time for the DLC?
I wonder who would win? Shay cormac the Assassin turned Master Templar or Jack the Ripper, Could shay counter The rippers Fear tactics? Or would he fall victim to The rippers Blade.
so we gana ignore how a guy was just running on the bed
Well done mate, thanx :)
Kinda weird, that he's still famous to this day, although he "only" killed around 8(?) people, while there are serial killers these days and in the past who killed over 70 people and no-one knows them.
In a nutshell, Jacob Frye did an oopsie.
is jack the ripper has no work to do ,i mean at that time people had to work very hard to get a single piece of bite(food) , how did he even earn money if he spend all his time on killing .
who said he used money to buy stuff, (I'm talking about the AC one)
Well, in real life, no one knew who the Ripper was. So, he probably had a job through which he got money.
@@krishnasharma1505 ikr, it's like.. duh, 💁♀️ nobody knew what he looked like! 😂
'it's a really simple answer the man was fuckinnng mental'
Fizhy best line ever
Forgive me for saying this but did Jacob survive the encounter with Jack in the dlc?
It cracked me up when he said well he’s fucking mental
Is the ripper one of the most dangerous character in the series?
Btw the identity(true identity) of Jack the Ripper was found, search it up
I know I'm late but not it isn't there is 5 suspect (one of them is Royale and biggest suspect)
I think it might have been a interesting twist for us the players to find out that jack was a child from a one night stand in the past (maby before syndicate begin). Maby jack knows this and that is another reason he hates him.
I do wonder if Jacks crazyness might have been linked to his isu blood doing something weird after his weird life
Same old clumsy Jacob eat his own medicine.
Its speculation that Jack was a member or a gang or an associate of a gang
Kinda wish it was just as simple as Jacob became his father figure, his insanity made him think he was his real father, he blamed him for not protecting his mother like he should have = the dlc happens
Hard to believe that the rooks really turned on Jacob and evie
Did the DLC ever explained the defection of Jack The Ripper joining the templars?
i am lil cubeix 2016 Jack never joined the templars.
Danny Rand you’d think he’d despise the Templars more than any other assassin.
I never
The absinthe got to him.
