Was in the gym one day, listening to random music, and Rules of Nature popped up. "Has anyone done a purely acoustic cover of this?" is the thought that crossed my mind. What a terrible thought to have.
Hopefully this can tide you over until some REAL music appears on this channel.

If you're trying for the image of something like a D&D bard, then it would be in the A.D.'s, s since the medieval and renaissance era's were both post-Roman empire. Because if we go by the traditional definition of the contraction of BC, then that's Before Christ and Jesus was a Roman citizen. He executed sometime around 30AD (admittedly I would need to double check that number but you should get the idea (also, he wasn't born on 1AD, but something like 8 AD or something, again checking numbers but still getting ideas across)).
The usual depiction of D&D settings are something like the medieval times in Europe.
Though yeah. A bard in medieval Europe singing and shredding his lute playing Rules of Nature would still be waaaay ahead of his time.

I'm happy with how this turned out in the end. Having to record every instrument through a microphone was challenging, especially trying to get a good bass hit off of an acoustic bass guitar and proper reverb to the clapping, but I think it worked out well in the end. I had a lot of fun making it so really that's what matters.
The end result is amazing, I love metal gear revengenance but I truly haven't heard an acoustic cover and you did an amazing job

I swear on my life, every time for the past year that i've gone on Ken Ashcorp's channel and been like " aw why hasn't he uploaded in forever" and been sad, WITHIN 24 HOURS he always uploaded, it happened with Hold My Hand,it happened with Blue, It's Happened with this song, like i spent 3 hours listening to Ken's music yesterday going back and listening to the songs i hadn't heard in a while, thinking "man i hope he uploads soon". it's really weird

He also can change his voice quite a lot without voice filters, but for the voice effects he for 100% has is his iconic echo and the splitting of his voice to left and right speaker before adding the echo. Also the small choruses are amazing but are rare

well, it's not actually any more active than any other comments section necessarily, it's just sorted by new by default - if you went to any other video with equal amounts of thousands to millions of views you'd see a similar influx of many comments a day

There is a fun reason that some music from the middle and spanish music can sound similar. Before the reconquista spain was split between the caliphate and the various smaller christian states. So many of the musical rhythms and scales of the middle east were slowly introduced during this time and many of them are still present.
