Ah you mentioned one of my favorite scenes in the whole series… “Why? Who’s you tell them you were?” “The Great and Powerful Oz” That dejected look on Jacob’s face was priceless.
@@paxillusinvolutus5213 He died from a sports accident of all things last year. He was kite surfing (forget if he broke his neck, drowned, concussed, or something, but it was an accident while kite surfing). Coincidentally, a stargate fan youtube channel was supposed to have done a remote interview of him just a few days after he died, but instead ended up doing a tribute video instead if I recall correctly.
my favorite gould has and always will be Yu(Vince Crestejo) , he played it well and for being one of the oldest Gould he seemed to be the most evolved not violent or sadistic just for the fun of it , like he grew past it
Which is odd considering that, as one of the oldest Goa'uld, he must have used the sarcophagus more times than most of the others, which means he should have been among the most deranged and evil of them all.
I know there are many who fanwank that what made them truly evil is the genetic memory. As the oldest, he has less ancestry to have been imparted that genetic memory And he ruled with less problems meant he was injured less and therefore used the sarcophagus less. When he did use it later, it was strictly to stave off aging, and not just to feel revitalized or vain
This whole two-parter is one of my favourites and I've been looking forward to seeing you react to it. The main thing for me is getting the introduction of Ba'al and his badass beard. I don't know if you're aware but the actor, Cliff Simon, died last year. Also, early in your video, when you commented on Martin Wood's name as the director of the episode, he was actually standing right behind Jack with Siler. He's like Peter DeLuise in that he sometimes makes cameos in episodes he directs.
Hilarious how that chick said it was better Lantesh survive than both it and martouf died... and the moment O'neill pointed out their could use the Symbiote poison against the invaders at the base... she went all 'but what about all the Tok'ra here!?'
Bad things happen when you start liking guest stars ......except Walter ,he's the GOAT.........Apart from that gammy leg in 2010. And of course give Babylon 5 and Star Trek a look
Original series Star Trek is way underrepresented in the reactor community. Seventy-nine episodes that launched a movement, a game-changer for its day of serious dramatic content. You could do a lot worse than to react to TOS.
There is a genuine reaction, but we are pleabs, since we watched it when it was on, we are punished. You would not have watched this if you weren’t paid. This will be ignored. You will watch it once….great channel. (That was sarcasm). Nature of the beast.
Happy New Year SG-34 🥰💓
sad ass ending to this one though damn, scratch that next generation title the other episode lol
The music is amazing in this two-parter.

Ma'tell Oz, Kree!
who did you tell them you were
oh the great and powerful Oz.
Sam, we got to go. NOW!!!!
Oh THATS “dejected”
I always thought of it more as jacobs “oh for fucks sake/oh fuck my life” face
You can SEE the struggle to maintain composure and not smile…
-Yu will be among the System Lords attending the meeting.
-I thought you said he'd be going in as a slave ?
Underrated "Yu" joke here.
RIP Cliff Simon (Ba'al) 1962-2021
There are probably still more of him hiding out somewhere.
@@jaredf6205 we wish. He was a great actor who deserved more recognition than he got.
Cliff had fantastic charisma for a villain character
Bugger. I’m sorry to hear that.

Either he grew past it, or he was always that way and is the reason he survived so many centuries.

Ahh, if Anubis is getting namedropped, then that means that Jonas is coming soon and Daniel is... well, gonna do what Daniel does best.
Finally. Time for Ba’al!
Appropriate that for the new year the Ba'al dropped.
First introduction of one of my favorite System Lord...Ba'al !!
As in 'Batchi'?
This is where the ride REALLY begins. ENJOY!
So, I guess this was recorded in August? Based on the "NOT MARUF" episode?
Yeah he's already much much further with the episodes.
yeah he’s currently on season 8, youtube uploads are much further behind than patreon uploads
@@bluealewine6037 does that mean he’s started Atlantis then ?
@@ARandomSpecOp yes he has
it's funny you said Sokar 2 because the same actor does Anubis' voice

In Egyptian lore Anubis is the Egyptian God of mummification, embalming, the afterlife, cemeteries, tombs, and the Underworld,

Kevin Durand is back as Zippy.
Funny you call him Sokar #2 since they're both actually played by the same actor.
RIP to whomever started this series without knowing egyptian mythology ...
Maybe the ancient Egyptians got Goa'uld hierarchies wrong.
@@Phoboskomboa More like modern humans interpreting history wrong and mythology wrong.
2:20 "arumbus" !! Note the transcript auto-generated "a rhombus".
Some lore drop: the go'uld with black feathers, morrigan I believe, is secretly a queen symbiote.
ANUBIS!!! IT BEGINS!
Keep the stargate episodes coming!!!
Happy Newyears SG-34
The Tok'ra tried to wipe out the System Lords but got wiped out themselves.
Quite ironic.
The Anubis saga is about to begin. Can't wait.

And syler
I 2nd watching Babylon 5. That is my favorite sci-fi show. The writing and acting are phenomenal.

@@darkhope97 they could never kill Siler because then they'd have to hire a new stunt person.
They wanted to bring back Martouf for this episode , but the actor was not available so they had to rewrite his role to Elliott as a replacement.
Love your sg1 reactions! I sincerely hope you watch the two sequel films (Ark of Truth. And. Continuum) once you’ve completed the series!
One of my Favourite Season 5 episodes
Never realized this was Zipacna from the Triad
Ahhh...the running gag that is the name Lord Yu...You can get a lot of mileage on this one !
Me?
Of course Yu can get mileage; he's got ships that go to hyperspace :P
He who has finally been named....
" Hope he doesn't die." *sigh*
oh come on this was a double for sure
12:00 The Tok'Ra are all about peoples right to chose to be hosts until it convenient not to.
Elon in his ship...
Ah the first aperance of Ba'al.
Obligatory reminder to watch Babylon 5
FYI Sarah is Osirus.
1:28 Elon Musk? What are you doing here? Oh.. representing the snake people, I see..
go yu go!!! :D
Nice. 👌
Funny you say sokar number two, anubis is played by the same actor
A who bis... ok made me laugh
No more X-Files?
😂 you’re not gonna like the ending of the next episode. Sorry 😞
You should be a writer, not a random reaction! You consistently call it, and offer up intriguing alternative story lines when you miss.
