@@kellietrewin2552 No it is from all over the world. I am from Holland and I was a twirler too, but now I'm not. But Twirling has also competitions in countries but it also has it own Europinion championschip and world championschip. So it is a sport not only in America but it is all over the world.

I did color guard for many years and also did baton. Let me tell you what he just did is not easy! He has spent hours perfecting this routine. Many people do not get that baton twirling and flag, sabre, and rifle its an art and sport. As a person who did this for 6 years. Thank you for going on AGT and doing what you just did was incredible
I had one when I was a kid. I managed to give myself a black eye and of course go after my brother with it. For me this was amazing.

He's a 10 off personality, an 100 off song choice and 1000% talented!! I enjoy when AGT showcases talents other than singing, dancing or dogs. It started as a *true* variety competition so when we get even more magic or comedy I enjoy it more but these other more obscure acts are fascinating 💙

im a twirler myself, its becoming sort of a lost art, and its SO underrated, its so fun and i learn more everyday!

As an intermediate twirler myself, I assure you he is phenomenally talented! The sport takes years of dedication and thousands of hours of of practice. Extreme talent!

I’ve personally met him at AYOP and he is literally one of the sweetest people i’ve ever met. He’s also taught classes with my studio and is EXTREMELY talented. I’m so proud of him and so excited to see where this goes for him! :)

I got to see this guy in person at one of my competitions, he definitely deserves to be there.
Me and my brother used to twirl with him. He really is the kindest person. He started in a small group in Puerto Rico. He worked so hard everyday and now is amazing. KILLED IT. So kind and humble.

Joel is one of the best teammates to have on your team. He makes sure that he knows everything b4 he comes in and all of our girls treat him amazingly. When we went to tu, he put on the best show that anyone could possibly do and made sure everyone on our team was confident. Love him soo much.

As a baton teacher and choreographer, I thought his act was very good! He did some amazing tricks and they were very hard to do! I also performed w. Two fire batons!!

As a baton, flag, rifle, and saber spinner I took such joy in watching him really did his movements are graceful and I aspire to one day be able to preform and act as gracefully as he did all while keeping the most important element which is having fun

Well actually all he has to do is develop it further and you have a million dollar act, just like Heidi you told him, he callie do other things. The baton twirling and his aura was plenty enough though.

If you tell me you didn’t smiled from start to finish, slightly squinting your eyes as if you were saying to him without using words, “ oh gosh thanks for that amazing attitude” , then I would say you are a liar.
A baton twirler came incredibly close to the finals in 2008, but many of this year's star competitors weren't even alive then...

i remember joel from when i use to baton twirl in Puerto Rico he motivated alot of us Gays guys to follow our dreams and dance with no fear amd thanks to that i moved to the USA for school and never was able to return till one day i said am going ti do what ive allways loved which is bands and baton twirling and now i live in a small town in USA where theres nothing not even dance groups and am now starting a band like in Puerto Rico and am bringing out here something that never has been seen and now coming to youtube and finding Joel an old friend in American got talent is a sign to me from the almigthy to dont give up on this and make my group with no fear and have people join it and follow their dreams and maybe even find their self in this dancing category and instrument pkaying jn bands
