Most people arent scared of the pain in rugby Cos when ur playing the sport in the moment u jus become a beast an jus tackle everyone it’s so fun jus running full speed into someone. The thing u have to worry about and what stops most people is the long term brain injuries and some serious complications involved with having about 4 or 5 20stone men pile up on top of u. Results in crushed jus about everything

Statistics show there is more concussions in American football because they just tackle anyway they want cos they wear padding!! Where as in rugby they know how to tackle properly
I play rugby for my college and I personally believe that rugby is better than American football because it’s more aggressive and your allowed protection but majority of my team choose not to wear it because it makes the game fun to play however with American football it’s looks fun but it’s not as aggressive as rugby
I can only speak for the UK, but people aren’t really worried about playing rugby because you start playing in school when you’re 11
when u playing rugby trust me u dont care abt the pain unless u actually break something most rugby players just play on after a bust ear or busting their eye its just common and i love playing the sport

That is rugby union, a game with more rules and focus on proper tackle technique (wrapping the arms) You need to watch rugby league, shoulder charges and high tackles are more common.
