We do play rugby in the states. We have our own league for it here, called Major League Rugby. We aren't as high up as in Europe, S. Africa, Australia, Argentina, or New Zealand, but we're doing our best for the sport. Ever since I saw this (and most importantly, the AFL), when I was overseas, I have never been able to watch anything like the NFL again.. and never will.
Just so you know the quote is rugby is a thugs game played by gentlemen. 21 years of this wonderful sport I've played and still going strong got my son playing now 10 years untill I can play a match with him and against
That's the first rugby reaction video that I've seen that had someone knowledgeable helping to explain how the game works instead of asking for the comments section to explain (which I highly doubt ever gets read).
damian mckenzie would be great for player focused hes small for a rugby player and quick elusive good kicker and puts his body on the line for big hits
"A gentlemen's game played by brutes" - lot of truth in that since originally it was played by what we call in the UK "gentlemen" from the fancy so-called "public schools" (those who came from upper class families) - in fact "public schools" are private and cost a lot and never were "gentlemen" !!!!
I remember back in my high-school I was mates with a kid called Daniel and I was in year9 at the time but Daniel was so good and built he played for the year 10s so I had the ball and all I saw was this built guy bolting at and all I could do is pray it didn't hurt badly he made me flip
Watch Australian state of origin, any video on it, it’s the best players from the league get brought into either Queensland or New South Whales to represent their home state. Major rivalry that happens every year
@@danbrowne5592 Jumping in the air to catch a high pass (not a kick) could be considered a bit of a grey area legally; but running along juggling the ball - well you're definitely ok to be tackled. 😇 Leaving the ground 'after' making first contact, is the ball player's look out, he was on the ground when he first touched the ball, so is fair game to be smashed😉 [Intentionally jumping to avoid being tackled would get the ball carrier penalised]👍
I love how the Americans are freaking out like wow that was so amazing meanwhile all the people who've ever actually player rugby will tell you that those hospital passes were so fucking shit and the team was so lucky to score from it
Better yet, they should get it from the AFL instead, not from Ninh's page. React to: What is AFL? Aussie Rules Explained. As an American who's been following that sport for nearly 30 years, it is the best spectator sport in the world.
bro , you rong , if you wana say right , is like that " it is a goon game played by gentlemen" why is it called that? because in the field they are like animals, but in out side the country they lend a hand and are friends.
We DO play this in the states! There’s even finally a professional league. The international rugby community calls the US “the sleeping giant.” We have the talent and the $ and the sport is growing here. But yeah, we got it. 🏉❤️💙🤍

If you are talking Rugby Union, then you are 18th in the world and won the Olympics in 1920 and 1924.

6:30 I'm pretty sure he did get it, looks like he was never out of play. Insane finish if so (which I assume is why it's in this compilation...)
For a player focused vid, I'd recommend Cheslin Kolbe, for his crazy footwork... and as usual Rugby Hits Till I Collapse.
“No helmet, No Shoulder Pads, Just BALLS!!”

Any attempt to handle the ball would make you fair game for the tackle.
Some of the Pacific Islands players are huge

Late to the channel :) ......Rugby players are basically built like line backers, run like wide receivers and can pass like basketball players.
ua-cam.com/video/QvIXorW3YgE/v-deo.html was a very legal (and very satisfying) tackle.
6:44 was a try, his feet didnt touch the line till after placement
