I have a 2002 16' WarEagle Ducks Unlimited special that's loaded. 40 HP. Merc, 36 mph with the trim set a two fat guys and duck gear. Avery popup blind ECT. I use it year around. LOVE IT.
THANK YOU THANK YOU THANK YOU FOR LOOKING AT THE CAMERA LENSE AND NOT YOURSELF ON THE SCREEN! 90% OF THE NEW UA-camRS ARE STARTING AT THEMSELVES WHILE RECORDING!
Thank you, I am trying to get as much content out as possible. It’s a little tough this year between work and taking care of a newborn but there will be plenty more videos coming. Thanks for watching!
Make your next boat a Gator Trax , I bought a Duracraft 1860 Extreme in 2004 it has served me well for 18 years but ain't no boat a Gator Trax . Got the 1970 GT with 200hp all laid out to my specs ordered. Perfect for me
That’s funny. I do the same thing with my trolling motor. The biggest problem I had with the beavertail blind was it would hit my trim button in front of the trolling motor bracket and move my engine.🤦♂️
I too have an 860 and I use it mostly to fish for Bass, catfish, and stripers. I am in need of a new trolling motor and was wondering what length shaft did you go with for the Ultrex? Great video ! Very informative.
Thanks for watching, I just have a stock 45" shaft on my Minn Kota Fortrex which works great for me. The 80 lbs thrust 24volt system will last all day. I would recommend installing a 2 or 3 bank charging system as well it just makes life so easy when you can just plug your boat in after a long day on the water. Good luck fishing this year and please subscribe to the channel if you haven't already.
@@1alphamax32 I must have misunderstood, as I thought you said you had an Ultrex trolling motor. My bad. Good to know that a 45” shaft will be long enough to run the boat. I already have a 3-bank charger on the boat, and will be getting rid of the Motor Guide trolling motor soon. I just want a motor that I can control remotely when I am power drifting for catfish. Thanks for your reply and I am subscribed !
Thanks for the video. In the market for a hunt/fish boat and the 860 was/is on the list. Do you have any photos / videos of the seating layout with the beavertail blind? I will be hunting from the boat most of the time and that is the blind I was looking at. Just curious how the seat mounts line up with the shooting holes. Thanks!
heard nothing but good for those boats....dont duck hunt but do take a boat out to some deer hunting areas....I had a Fisher for that but the hull split in about five different places from hitting waves and I hear a War Eagle will not do that. Subscribed
Hey bud! Just bought the 860...picking it up in a few days. How do you like how the trolling motor is positioned off to the side a bit vs center? Thanks for the great in depth video, huge resource for the purchase! Liked and subscribed
Thanks for the Like and Sub! I have a Minn Kota Ultrex 80 on the side trolling motor mount and it has worked perfectly fine for me. Also congrats on the purchase you will not be disappointed, my 860 is the best duck boat I have ever owned.
DAM DUDE!!!! YOU LOOK HELLA HAPPY.....I'VE BEEN SEARCHING FOR A BOAT MANUFACTURER THAT WILL LET ME CHOOSE WHAT i WANT..IN THE BOAT,AND WHERE I WANT IT...JUST YOUR FACE ALONE IS TELLING ME I SHOULD GET A WAR EAGLE...IT'S ALMOST LIKE YOUR LAUGHING AT EVERYONE ELSE THAT DOESN'T HAVE ONE...LMAO...LET ME FINISH THE VIDEO I COULD BE TOTALY WRONG...@1:09 IN VIDEO
I have wanted one of these since I started duck hunting at the age of 12. My cousin always had one and I loved it. Since I got my own I would never buy another boat. Thanks for watching, much appreciated...Hit that subscribe button!!
@@1alphamax32 Ever find out Prop size? Just curious because I can only get about 45 out of mine when I am alone and not much gear. Did raise motor up to the second from bottom hole. Had a lot of cavitation plate spray.
Bobby Rodgers sorry I haven’t responded sooner. I looked and can’t find anything on the prop. I was told it was a 21p when I bought the boat but that could be wrong.
Ok I worked here, DO NOT BUY ANY BOAT FROM WAR EAGLE if you want a quality boat, if you want proof of shitty craftsmanship simply tear your decking out and check out your weld seems because holy shit I saw some nasty stuff get hidden, half the shop does dope on break and I can't say I blame them considering as a SKILLED TRADESMAN they will only offer to pay you as much as mcdonald's would so no one really gives a f@$k that is putting your boat together, if you want REAL QAULTITY go check out a HAVOC OR SEARK boat made in the same area of arkansas but they actually pay their workers and don't skate shit past qaultity control just to meet qouta, YOUR WELCOME IN ADVANCE LOVE A MAN NOT PAID BY WAR EAGLE TO SAY GOOD THINGS ABOUT SHIT QAULITY BOATS
Appreciate your advice, I and everyone else that I know with this brand of boat have never had any issues what so ever. I may look into another route of boat in the future but if everything holds up with mine which it has for 13 years I’ll buy another War Eagle with no questions asked!

Sweet set up. Find some camo tape for the seats and will be good for another 10 years.
I’ve got a 16’ alums raft that I bought new in 1992. I love that damn boat.
That was my first boat. I had a 16ft alumacraft with a 25hp evinrude tiller
A Good Looking Setup 😎
Thanks
@@1alphamax32 😎👍
My husband is going to get one for Christmas
I am sure he will love the boat.
Love my 860. Just found you on UA-cam. Looking forward to seeing your videos.

It’s a pain in the butt! I had that problem the first year then I began to remove the trolling motor every year after that
Sweet
Thank you

We usually sit along the gun box with one seat in the front and another in the back
I think this boat originally came from Bunch Marine in Roane County TN? Love the boat

Hands down the best boat I’ve owned! I have had a Lowe in the past and it was a night and day difference
Get a havoc
What model boat is this?
Wareagle 860 DLSV
What are the lights that you have installed on the back of the boat?
Rigid A series lights
Do you mind if I ask how much you paid? Thanks for the video
I beleive I paid $12-$13k years ago, but they will go for thousands more brand new.
What size Prop you have on that boat? I can only get about 44 out of mine. But I do like though.
I beleive it is a 21p but i could be wrong. I can double check for you when I get home
That would be great. I called War Eagle and they test them with a 19p

Your cap is on backwards, the bill goes in the front.
Thanks for the advice!
