Those I survived books look so interesting. I just picked one up a couple weeks ago for 99 cents at the thrift store. I loved American Girl books when I was a kid. I liked Felicity and Molly the most!
I know I would have loved them as a kid! They are really fun for kids who love history. I like the graphic novels even better. My favorite was Josephine. But I also like Felicity and Samantha. Sooo much nostalgia!
There’s a sequel to Daddy Long Legs called Dear Enemy. Judy’s friend Sally from college becomes superintendent of the John Grier Home. She butts heads with the home’s doctor and writes her letters. It’s epistolary. I can’t quit thinking about the Cheney Duvall series that I can’t buy til April. 🤨I shouldn’t have promised I wouldn’t buy any books for a month. 🤨Great video! 👏🏻
Oh thanks for letting me know! I didn’t realize it had a sequel! Now I’m going to add that to my Goodreads! I’m really looking forward to reading it! Oh boy lol! It’s a really good series. Maybe the library has it? I have no self control so I would probably break it!
@amyodell7157 aww wow ! I have loved the library since I was a kid. I like checking out books that I might not want to spend money on, but still want to read. Or if it’s an author I haven’t tried, I can try them first and then purchase later!
I have two nephews who don't read much but I hope that the youngest one will learn to love to read. The oldest likes video games.i think I may mentioned that earlier.
Exciting! Can't wait to see what you have in store for March! 📚 Keep up the great content!
