- 7 MINUTES OF SONY A6400 85MM 1.8 POV STREET PHOTOGRAPHY
I went out into the streets with the Sony a6400 and the Sony 85mm 1.8 FE and documented with the POV camera. Got some amazing photos from this combination.

which lens do you think is good for full body/half body portraits with the outside/street scenery in the background?
As you can see from the video, 85mm works great. You just have to step back a bit. I'd also look at the Sony or Sigma 35mm options.
Love your video! I’m still debating myself to buy this lens or Sigma 85mm f1.4 instead.. btw i’m using a6400
I've never used the Sigma 85 1.4, but from every video I've seen it looks like an amazing lens. I don't think you can go wrong with either. The Sony 85mm 1.8 is also great for video.
Nice pics bro
Thank you
Do you have a gopro in the chest or How did you film this?
Basically. I use the DJI Action 2. It's a little easier to mount. I'll proably do a video on it soon
what focal settings would you recommend? i have this lens and the a6400. thanks and great video
That depends. What are you shooting?
hi, those were really nice shots you took there, I am looking to buy the sigma 85mm f1.4 for my sony a6400, do you think this could be my daily driver in terms of portrait and product photography? also how far you need to stand to bring the model/subject in the whole frame
Hi thanks for watching. The Sigma 85mm is a great lens. You do have to get pretty far away from your subject if you want them head to toe in frame. So depending on your shooting scenarios that would be something to consider.
I would also think about getting the Sigma 56mm 1.4. It's another amazing lens and that would give you about a 85mm look on and APSC sensor. I'd only go with a full frame lens if you plan on going full frame in the future.
@@CreativeTechLab thanks alot for the reply, however I bought the Sigma 85mm f1.4, was difficult to make a choice between the 56mm and 85mm but since i will be upgrading to a full frame soon so a good investment now. And 85mm give pretty amazing portraits on my A6400 i am really impressed and happy with the decision.
Is it sharp? Compared to the Sigmas, Sonys and Tamrons?
Yeah it's pretty sharp. Even wide open at 1.8
plus which camera takes better pics to you sony a6400 or the sony a7 iii
Two different cameras. I wouldn't say one is "better". But many people prefer the full frame look of the a7iii.
Hello! Can someone give me some tips for which focus area should I use in street photography?
I use zone or sometimes flexible spot. In both instances I rely on tap to focus. But the autofocus on these cameras are usually spot on
@@CreativeTechLab thank you 🙏🏻
