Hello, from ur experience, I wanted to ask u about bokeh comparison in sigma 85mm f1.4 lens on both apsc and full frame, which camera will result in more bokeh? I know that full frame is better in bokeh but considering the compression we get from the crop factor on apsc in the 85mm distance will that result in more bokeh than using it in full frame body?
Thank you for your comment. 👍 The bokeh will be almost comparable. Maybe even a bit smoother with APS-C due to the background compression. With full frame you have an F1.8 at 85mm and with APS-C an F2.7 at 128mm. With both cameras, however, you will have almost the same result at different distances to the object. I hope I was able to answer your question.
My camera is a6300 with sigma 18/50 lens I also have Carl zeiss Jena Sonnar 135 f3.5 lens its optical quality is quite good compared to modern lenses but because it is Mf lens it is a bit difficult to take moving photos then I don't know which lens to choose for portrait between sigma 56 or sony fe 85 or viltrox 75 but after watching your video I will buy sony fe 85 because in the future I will upgrade to sony a7c, thanks for your video 😍, sorry my english is not good
Thank you very much for your comment. 👍 Please wait with the purchase of the Sony lens. Did you already seen my review of the Sirui 85 F1.4 lens? At the moment, I can highly recommend this lens for portrait and landscape shooting. This is an excellent lens with a very smoth bokeh and excellent sharpness.
@@dawa5581 From other way, with better (smoother) bokeh DOF much smaller which not always Welkom (eye is sharp and nose/ear is Not). I using this Sigma 56 mm and love this lens but in portrait using F around 5,6... Thank you for nice talking.
Thank you for your comment and your kind words. I buy all my cameras and lenses myself and can therefore give an independent opinion. I will always try to improve and nice words like yours motivate me to continue to do so. Thank you. 🙏
Thank you for your comment. Both lenses have their advantages and disadvantages. But in my opinion the Sony lens had the slightly better performance in autofocus and vignetting.
Your video convinced me to get the Sony 85mm instead of the Sigma 56mm for my a6700. Thank you for that excellent and impartial review.
Thank you very much for your comment and your nice words. 🙏 You have made a very good choice.😉
Please make a comparison video of Viltrox 75 1.2 vs sony 85mm 1.8.
Unfortunately, I don't have the viltrox yet. But as soon as I have it, I will also create a comparison on a channel.
Great comparison, thanks.
However they absolutely do not share the same filter thread size as mentioned @1:22. Sony is 67mm, Sigma is 55mm.
Thank you for your comment 👍 i’ve checked this and you are absolutely right. I don’t know why this has happened. 🙈😄
Very good comparison video. is not bokeh amount of Sony is higher as it has a larger focal length?
Thanks for your comment. Yes, the bokeh ratio is higher with the 85mm, or rather the background comes closer
Amazing comparison ❤
Thank you very much 🙏

shooting same subject with 56 and 127 from same spot would show the actual difference in bokeh and compression. 127 would be much better
Thank you for your comment. 👍 you’re right, with a longer focal length you get a better bokeh and compression.

wich one? lol.
Nice review. Thank you.
You are welcome 👍
Viltrox 75mm f1.2
This is also a very good portrait lens, but for me a bit too big for APS-C. The Viltrox lens reminds me of a FF lens.
@@dawa5581 by the way..still the best for my apinion
Can u please give review for Viltrox 75mm f1.2 in sentence especially about the focusing while videography
@@mallikarjunm1912 I have to ask viltrox if they can send me a copy. After that I will do another comparison.
The sigma performed better than the sony lens and not the other way round

@dawa5581 Thanks for clarifying. It's a nice video .
