I really hope that there will be a "Monster Truck 2". It's sad to see Creetch go, but it is his home after all. But I would love to see Creetch return in another movie.

I actually watched this like 100 times in 2017 and it was a annoying movie to watch alot, but now i remember the good times i watched it with my friends, cousins, family and the nostalgic

Whoa! This was a crazy ride. Number one problem for the monster? Imagine a creature that feeds on one of the most sought-after resources on our little blue ball. Unless there's a way where we can benefit from the creature's existence, there's no way that this could be a win for humans.

@@shars104 Of course the creatures are 'cute,' and not trying to pick a fight, but consider this: If you brought a living pet home and it needs gasoline for nourishment, with gas costing approximately $3.00 a gallon and the 'pet' consumes approximately 10 gallons per day, that would be $210.00 a week to feed it.
Which still begs the question, how were the ten creatures at the end able to feed themselves?

@@roccocolella13 Like I said, I wasn't trying to pick-a-fight with anyone. My statements are within the confines of a fantasy movie where two humans were completely comfortable standing next to alien creatures the size of cars that 'appear' to have a petroleum-based diet and not a carbon-based one.
I like the film, and yes, it is strongly implied that the monsters are metaphors for our own petroleum dependency.
Side issue: I was a kid during the 1973 oil crisis. I believe that was the first time our country had to come to terms with the idea of that natural resource might not always be readily available or accessible. It was also the first time we collectively heard of O.P.E.C. and its existence.⛽
They can earn their keep by being 'engines' for our vehicles as shown in the movie. A pet that can double as a car? Sign me in
I would rate this movie a 10/10 it has good characters and a good story line an actual movie u can sit and watch over and over, I love the squid monsters they look like whale's but with tentacles
