The most incredible thing about the whole Definitive Trilogy is that there were people who since the beginning defended these three piles of crap and are doing so even now, feeling somehow vindicated by the games now being "OK" after ~2 years of getting fixed. There is at least one decently prolific GTA streamer who defended the game to the death by claiming that the art style look wonderful to him, that all the bugs and glitches shown on video by lots of people after it got released were actually somehow hacking the game into being in that awful state for the purpose of getting views on YT and even went so far as to say that Rockstar is just a company trying to make money and if you do not like their products, you should simply avoid them and shut up (not even complain or warn others), among other copes. Of course, the fact that he did only a tiny handful of runs of the Definitive Editions and has since then avoiding like the plague is just a complete coincidence. Utterly ridiculous in the face of the metric tons of issues with the DT and a historic embarrassment for the videogame industry in the context of making remasters, along with Warcraft 3: Refunded, which is also horrible even today.
I genuinely want to know what the issues with these games are I never played the original ps2 versions and just got the trilogy I’ve played only vice city so far and had a blast but with no reference point I really want to know what I’m missing if u can kindly provide a analysis
You forgot the one that's been the bane of my existence, hud control. I'm a console player but every gta game since vice city has offered the immersive option to remove the map and hud so the screen is clear of obtrusion when you are just trying to soak in the scenery. I guess it doesn't matter since the scenery is objectively worse now but unless I'm on a mission where I need to know where to go, I don't want a hud active.
Something I never see mentioned is that a good chunk of these issues is caused because these idiots thought using the mobile port as a base was a good idea when it's more simplified and missing features by default.
well i actually would have told them to use it but i also would have told them to polish it up to the standards of the original. Like, actually put work into it. but of course, with no work you gonna get the same shitty outcome. them using the actual orginals would have made no difference cause they would have messed that up too.
That's because those idiots are mobile game "developers". They literally couldn't work with anything else, and it's not like Rockstar gave a crap about it anyway. They just wanted the money and please investors while GTA 6 got delayed again.
The problem with number 47 the one with the forklift is because they used the mobile remastered version and not the original, really shame they didn’t remaster it with hd universe egnine, they also ruined the behind knife kill in gta sa
Another problem is on the Black Project mission. Starting the mission will work but when you die and restart, the spotlights will no longer move, they just stay still. You have to go back a save or quit and restart the mission to fix. Found this one on my own
I think we should also note that the distant houses in GTA 3, that appear in the mountaints, don't make any sense. Imagine you have your house there, wanna go outside and before you set a foot on the ground, you tumbld down the mountain into a watery grave.
5:45 I wouldn’t call the GTA trilogy “difficult”, but it’s definitely plagued with bullsh*t missions. Part of the bs that makes the originals so frustrating at times is the lack of a checkpoint system. San Andreas had its ported over, but I guess they didn’t think they needed one for Vice City/III. The most inexcusable part is how it asks if you want to reload the “checkpoint” only for it to start playing the opening cutscene again.
Dude the Russian big smoke mission here's 25 guys no armor and a tec 9they never miss a shot you have zero cover system good luck it's so annoying die say checkpoint then it's drive from smokes house like you can't spawn that right before entering the shootout ????
While these issues are annoying, the most annoying things about this is that rockstar delisted the original ports so that we would have to buy this instead
Only thing I don't agree with is the dificulty. The original trilogy was far harder than any modern Grand Theft Auto game. They weren't easy to begin with and a lot of missions required a lot of trial and error to complete
The difficulty complaint is complete BS. GTA 3 DE is pretty much as difficult as the original, GTA Vice City DE made some (like only two missions) missions easier, and GTA San Andreas DE is the hardest version of GTA San Andreas due to the enemies aiming being 100% accurate. So I definitely disagree on the difficulty portion, because they should be specific on which game.
@Wol1427 correct somehow my saves got deleted I was at venturas heist took a long break come back and all my saves gone just made it to angel pine and man sa is rough with enemy accuracy just melting you installed mod menu just so I can focus on pushing back to my og save points again like I suffered this once no cheats I'm not going through that gauntlet again. Vice city and 3 also I actually never fully beat three I would always get to center island and just fizzle out vs vice city I loved the most for music but San Andreas they really ruined with no fog what development lead would allow that sense of scale for San Andreas to be ruined with no fog and think people are not gonna shit on it hard
As someone who the Definitive edition was his first time playing the originals, this is rather depressing. In a way I like the new look, but I wanted the original gritty PS2 vibe.
The terrible controls in these games indicate they used the mobile version of these games amd ported them. You can even find the mobile icons in the game files.
21:36 - thats actually whole different reason. Original GTA 3, had bodies made of blocks - which looked worse. After they implemented better quality models (with actual hands), they removed it. Android release and Xbox 360 if im not mistaken also had it removed.
Hey man thanks for this video. I remember playing DE Vice City and what a disappointing experience that was, the character models, hell for some reasons in the very early version they thought it was a good idea to use SA menu sound effect for all three games, and having played the mobile version before I quickly noticed that they just ported all the stuff from that platform but reskinned with the UNREAL engine, not to mention VC completely lost its unique charm if compared with the original version, and not to mention a bug sitting in one of the missions on PC platform that basically forbids you from completing it
The fact they put "Definitive edition" phrase on it is disrespectful enough. Most other Definitive edition games were remakes. They should have just outsourced this to modders.
Here's the fact: All character models, vehicles and city textures are GTA 3 beta models. So GSG garbage team who did the "remaster" were stuck in 1998-1999 in modern time making the game look like it's 1998-1999 with modern technology.
And they'll never patch it. Unplayable for me the gang attacks are taking the p*ss and you have to drive with flat tires for most of the starting area cos someone will always shoot your tires
They basically took the mobile versions of the games and put them in a different engine. Some of the bugs and changes come from the old mobile port made by the same people who made the definitive edition. Some of these bugs, glitches, and changes were also carried over from the "remastered" versions on Xbox 360 and ps3.
Some of these are so hilarious, like removing car melee damage instead of fixing, or moving the fan at Lil Probe Inn over the pool table not even testing the minigame 😂
Many people say that this Trilogy has been fixed these days, but I deeply debt it... I can't believe the same developer that made Bully, GTA V and RDR2 is the same developer responsible for this mess! Rockstar and Grove Street Games are a joke these days!
Lol can't fix what was fucked up to start with. I got 200 hours+ on San Andreas. 100% it and done tried so many old things on it. It's straight up dogshit.
@@IINo1goodII The original version of GTA San Andreas is one of the best games ever made. What they did on that so-called "Defenitive" Editon is a spit on the fanbase's face!
we need an proper remake of these games with these features -Swimming in gta 3 and VC -more Enterable interiors in gta 3 such as night clubs malls and resturants (these buildings are found in game but are not enterable) -Purchasable safe houses and businesses in gta 3 -More weapons in gta 3 (machine guns different kinds snipers and more melee weapons) -Bikes in gta 3 -crouching in gta 3 -clothing customisation in gta 3 and VC (ik gta VC has it but i needs to be a gta SA like system) -barbers and tatoors in VC and 3 -Ak 47 in VC -GTA IV physics -More air vehicles in VC and 3(helicopter hunter and stunt plane) -Pizza missions in SA and 3 -Good citizen bonus in 3 and SA -Gyms in 3 and VC (not a fat and muscle system but instead you can learn new combat moves) -Driving schools in 3 and VC -drinkable alcohol with a screen effect and drunk behaviour in all three games -Other obvious improvements such as better character models and new graphics (not defective edition ones it has f#cked models and graphics are cartoony) Rockstar has all the resources and power to remake these games but i don't think they will do it because they have forgot about the games that brought them to this status and they are too busy milking absolute F#ck out of a 10 year old game that is 18+ but it is only played by 7 year olds
Some of these changes are also because they used the mobile phone version which had less options less ability to handle certain things, and need to be easier
When it comes to the forklifts in San Andreas there's only 2 positions because Grove Street Games used the mobile version to do this "remastered". A lot of problems in this trilogy are thanks to that unfortunately... Good job in this video!
Ripazha cheatcode (flying cars) works, but steering the flying car has been taken out on keyboard. You can effectively use that cheat only with gamepad
1:37 I get the message of this segment, but putting a glitch fix this early in the list when the main topic is that the release is *more* broken than the originals seems kinda scuffed. 5:52 The hilarious thing is that if they thought that people needed lower difficulty, then they actually failed with that. Didn't they make NPCs 100% accurate in San Andreas? Which while helping the players in some areas(All we have to do is shoot the dang train, Big Smoke), it makes the difficulty skyrocket in many, many other places. 22:58 Yep, that.
I'm Playing GTA Vice City Definitive Edition on PS4. I'm on G-Spotlight. The very first jump in this mission is a unique jump. I have tried to complete this jump on the PCJ-600 about 10 times. For each of my attempts, I get the special camera view showing my jump and I land in the pink. When I land, the clock in the upper right hand corner freezes and the camera view does not change. It stays focused on the landing spot, even though my character and my PCJ-600 are out of view, down the tunnel. In addition, I can jump blindly to the next building, but it seems to go in slow motion. Still the camera view is on the first jump and I cannot see my character and time is still frozen. Also, I am never getting the unique jump award. It seems that I cannot complete this mission in the way that it was designed and it seems I cannot complete 2 unique jumps that are part of this mission. I have completed 34 of 36 unique jumps. I have seen that there is a way to complete this mission via helicopter, but then I still cannot complete my last 2 unique jumps. I have spent quite a bit of time going through GTA videos and I have not come across anyone who has encountered this issue. I have rebooted my PS4, and that has not made a difference. There was an update that downloaded in Sept or Oct 2023. I wonder if something in this update caused the issue. Has anyone encountered this issue or could someone try to duplicate it please? Also, I do not know how to report bugs to the developer. Any help would be appreciated.
I found a post by OblivionWalker that suggested a rapid pause and unpause to fix this issue. The issue could be described as a special cinematic slow-motion view that stays in that mode. If the camera is working correctly, it should go back to the normal camera and normal time instead of staying in this special mode. I did not encounter this bug until the G-Spotlight mission. I encountered it 3 times, once after each unique jump in the mission. I was able to resolve the issue by a rapid pause and unpause several times. I did complete the mission and got the Daredevil and Not My First Time trophies. I want to thank OblivionWalker again for suggesting the work-around. This is such a serious bug. I cannot believe it is not prominently mentioned in other y-tube videos. I had to dig to find one obscure video on this and that one really did not detail how serious this issue is.
Literally about to buy this thinking “I love GTA it can’t be that bad” but watching this video and realizing they’re censoring GTA now killed it for me.
There it needs to be said always and I say it now, pirate a copy, it doesn't worth any money to be given to this hot mess, although it's not even worth downloading it tbh.
You say they made the game easier, whilst also acknowledging they made the enemy accuracy 100% (or there abouts) which definitely isn't easier. The car controls are awful and my tyres get shot out very often, I get shredded, yeah, definitely not easier, despite how many checkpoints and armors they add in.
Yea. I somehow figured it out on my own when i stole a bus that was dropping off passengers and wanted to imitate what they were doing. This was when I had the game on PS2 as a little kid. Just drive the bus to any bus stop and people will get in.
The oversimplification of game mechanics in the "definitive" editions is from those editions being literal ports of the MOBILE versions. R* had the audacity to upcharge full price for shoddy, mobile ports.
6:44 on PC, all 3 games randomly started doing this glitch all at the same time where I can't move when starting the game, restarting it does not fix it but you can fix this glitch by right clicking on the game and going to "Open File Location" and then right click on the game file and go to "Run As Administrator" to fix the problem. I have to do this every time I play the game
the jetpack controls in sa definitive was one of the things that annoyed me the most, if you're trying to fly upwards and then hit right click, you'll get stuck holding the trigger and you have to let go of the controls to stop it
The reason these games became so easy and lost many features is because it's based on the mobile version, which also had their own issues and of course it's made by grove street games as well
I just noticed at 3:47 the wings on the Dodo (in the definitive edition) have navigation lights on them. That makes no sense since the plane wings were shortened (probably sawn off) to prevent the plane from being able to fly, you were never meant to be able to fly the Dodo, hence why you have to use a glitch to get it up in the air. The navigation lights would have been removed along with the rest of the plane's wing that got taken off, they look ridiculous on a tiny wing span like that lol
The Defecated Edition in its first month of release has already presented itself how bad the game really is just on the main menu for 3 and VC. They both use the same menu sounds from SA when 3 and VC had their own to begin with
102. Radar glitch in the air When sitting in a helicopter or plane, the radar switches to the flight support instrument common from GTA: San Andreas. Only his position remained in the middle. The problem is the player is not in the middle of Definitive Edition's radars. Example: 16:47 Where is that bridge?
The Definitive Edition, along with how poorly treated San Andreas is by Rockstar Games, has actually resulted in my decision not to buy GTAVI when it comes out. I know I'm only one person out of a whole lot of people, but I'm not going to support a company that does things like this.
Think Of All The Money They Got From Shark Cards. This Is The Effort They Extend To You. This Is What They Think Of You. Expect Better. Have Standards.
In GTA SA definitive edition. The smaller map border I would assume is so you don’t mess up the zones like you could in the original if you flew through certain ocean chunks it had the possibility to mess up ped spawn, vehicle spawns, gangs spawns etc etc
3:48 oh come on! wtf! You can fly! And you can do it amazingly! One of the best things they fixed earlier in GTA 5 was the addition to steer aircraft while flying by using mouse. And not like it was in 3 until 4, now you can press LMB and then turn aircraft with mouse, WITHOUT overriding free cam mode, because you can turn ONLY when LMB is being held. GTA Definitive Edition has many bad things, but flying controls is not one of them! Well, if you have common sense, at least...
Good video badi U I think the biggest gripe with me for defective edition is the soundtrack removal which disappointed me These games feel dead and bland without them and I thought rockstar would have common sense to bring them back So yeah I just went back to the PS2 ports
I play the PC versions but with mods that mimic the PS2 version. The experience was unmatched back then. No matter how many reshade mods come, the OG atmosphere is simply the best.
I personally don't think Rockstar are catering to babies with the nerfs. They nerfed a lot of missions and minigames in the mobile ports to make it easier to play with touch controls. The thing is Rockstar took the easy way out and copied all the mobile code and slapped it in Unreal Engine, then sold it at an unreasonable price!
The absent Dodo controls from the PC are real deal breaker for me. I had to plug in my PSP and use it as a controller using e360ce and fly the Dodo to collect the lift bridge package in the beginning of the game.
Don’t accuse Rockstar for making the game easier and ”thinking their players are a lot of childs who need more help”. Accuse the firm that developed the definitive editions, even though Rockstar Games allowed to release it like this.
appreciate the work, as someone who edits when they are bored i understand the work put into it, splicing the clips recorded then deleting the left overs i'll save it anyone who edits knows the routine. the exporting is the worst part because it takes awhile then it takes longer to upload on youtube because it compresses the quality, which is why i record in 1440p and not 4k. its a waste in opinion, compression does not make it as good as raw footage. but anyways yeah it sucks alot of stuff was removed, i was hoping for them to touch up the 2 player option because i notice the 2d player cannot enter some vehicles and it would have been nice if they fixed that but they removed it entirely instead.
And to think that all you have to do to make GTA SA original perfect is installing Essential folder + Proper Fixes + SkyGFX + Rosa Project And the game is perfect
Not to mention but for #12 if you drink too many sodas the game hard crashes and corrupts itself on the Switch version, as seen in Vargskeletor Joel's stream "Sprunk'd it"
The camera movement in cars and the camera in general killed my will to play this garbage, i like watching my car as i ride it, i like looking at the landscape and everything in my surroundings every time and having this useless ass camera to rotate immediately to the front of the car like i was in a phone kill any possibility of me beating the game
min 12:05 when it sinks the car, the car doesnt start to sink until the character has died. It seems the car has the same floatability as the human character
The reason to why their so had is that prior to their they released all 3 games onto a mobile platform. The definitive edition is made from using the mobile versions on the three games not from the original console versions
#78 People keep bringing this up but it isn't censorship. In the original GTA III the character models were made of 'blocks' and therefore those blocks could be broken up. Starting with both the OG Xbox port and GTA Vice City, they switched to a skeleton system that wasn't as easily broken up. Well, except for headshots. That could be a censoring thing if they arent in the DE (I don't know, i wasnt wasting money on those heaps of shit)
I said this before and I'll say it again. THE ORIGINAL GAMES DIDN'T NEED ANY REMAKES! All they ever needed were some good remasters, with the same engine, PC version but added all the missing stuff from PS2 versions, with all the music added back, higher textures and resolution and that's it.
Imagine buying a new laptop and you only get a shell. You get the keyboard and workings in a few months time. And even then, you dont get all the parts and never will. No difference.
I'm so glad I bought all three originals on steam before the definitive edition came out. Even if it did take like 2 hours to get the damn things running properly downloading patches and such. I never was really a fan of GTA III but I played the crap out of GTA San Andreas and vice City when I was a kid.
All props fall through the ground and it is probably the most noticeable bug now if rockstar added 1 more patch to fix props and the broken ambient sounds I would be happy

@@Dirty_Davosthey should have used the original xbox version as their starting point. Then added the color and atmosphere from the ps2 version etc
That's because those idiots are mobile game "developers". They literally couldn't work with anything else, and it's not like Rockstar gave a crap about it anyway. They just wanted the money and please investors while GTA 6 got delayed again.
@WeirdSmellyMan a billion ways to go and they chose the worst
It's funny how people can other for idiots, yet never wish death on them.
The problem with number 47 the one with the forklift is because they used the mobile remastered version and not the original, really shame they didn’t remaster it with hd universe egnine, they also ruined the behind knife kill in gta sa
A lot of problems he mentioned were because of that but he kept saying its because of the babies playing the game lol.
Another problem is on the Black Project mission. Starting the mission will work but when you die and restart, the spotlights will no longer move, they just stay still. You have to go back a save or quit and restart the mission to fix. Found this one on my own
this... actually happend in the original
I think we should also note that the distant houses in GTA 3, that appear in the mountaints, don't make any sense. Imagine you have your house there, wanna go outside and before you set a foot on the ground, you tumbld down the mountain into a watery grave.
Now that's how a fan gives feedback! Absolutely based. Thanks so much for years upon years of great content, and for never stopping caring!
agreed about replay system, probably the #1 thing which kept me away from the definitive trilogy
I think the baby difficulty was made for DSP specifically
Phil randomly catching strays. I love it.
I still love they called it the Definitive edition, like THIS is how it's meant to be played lmao.
I called it the defective edition. Ironically I play it currently for the hilarious parts that are ruined
This proves that the "Definitive Edition" was rushed and wasn't even tested for bugs, definitely a cash crab.
While these issues are annoying, the most annoying things about this is that rockstar delisted the original ports so that we would have to buy this instead
The entire existence of Definitive Editions still annoys me and make me wanna wish Rockstar shut down their studios.
@@Wol1427 I forgot to mention that but you're right. They should be game specific
When was the last time this got a patch? Maybe a year ago? They completely abandoned it, took the money they could and left it to rot
I think they're censoring you because you speak the truth about these games.
He plays no games
@Clark BarkYou care too much for something "nobody cares about" 😂
I bet after GTA 6 we will get GTA 5 remastered made by candy crush developers
lol, underrated comment
They'll actually make the game bstter
The fuckin cheek of it. The cheeeeeekk
If this was a unity project made by a single person it would somewhat be impressive, but no this was released by the richest game company ever
I remember playing DE Vice City and what a disappointing experience that was, the character models, hell for some reasons in the very early version they thought it was a good idea to use SA menu sound effect for all three games, and having played the mobile version before I quickly noticed that they just ported all the stuff from that platform but reskinned with the UNREAL engine, not to mention VC completely lost its unique charm if compared with the original version, and not to mention a bug sitting in one of the missions on PC platform that basically forbids you from completing it
I love the weapon wheel but they still should've kept all the weapons in order from weakest to strongest
The fact they put "Definitive edition" phrase on it is disrespectful enough.
Most other Definitive edition games were remakes. They should have just outsourced this to modders.
I used to watch your videos a lot back in the day. I somehow found this video from you today. This sent me to a trip down the memory lane.
I cummed 😅
Here's the fact: All character models, vehicles and city textures are GTA 3 beta models.
So GSG garbage team who did the "remaster" were stuck in 1998-1999 in modern time making the game look like it's 1998-1999 with modern technology.
5:51 the checkpoints are a nice addition tho even tho they don't help much in 3 and VC.
This is what happens when you let a Mobile Game Studio to make Console Remakes.
Excuse me I should say "Demakes" and "Demasters"
@@TyvenPayne-sv6gwthank you for correcting
@@TyvenPayne-sv6gwof course some people will still fight for Rockstar having actually remade them, as if they arent lacking features of the OG.
and give them a short time to do it.
Another thing, on San Andreas, all enemies now have aimbot, they will never miss a single bullet.
I will say the Hatian thing was removed before the definitive edition. It was taken out after first wave of release discs
I’m pretty sure that was only for one cutscene/mission on the OG discs
I refuse to ever buy these remasters.
Giving Rockstar money for this shit means they're gonna do it again.
we need an proper remake of these games with these features
-Swimming in gta 3 and VC
-more Enterable interiors in gta 3 such as night clubs malls and resturants (these buildings are found in game but are not enterable)
-Purchasable safe houses and businesses in gta 3
-More weapons in gta 3 (machine guns different kinds snipers and more melee weapons)
-Bikes in gta 3
-crouching in gta 3
-clothing customisation in gta 3 and VC (ik gta VC has it but i needs to be a gta SA like system)
-barbers and tatoors in VC and 3
-Ak 47 in VC
-GTA IV physics
-More air vehicles in VC and 3(helicopter hunter and stunt plane)
-Pizza missions in SA and 3
-Good citizen bonus in 3 and SA
-Gyms in 3 and VC (not a fat and muscle system but instead you can learn new combat moves)
-Driving schools in 3 and VC
-drinkable alcohol with a screen effect and drunk behaviour in all three games
-Other obvious improvements such as better character models and new graphics (not defective edition ones it has f#cked models and graphics are cartoony)
Rockstar has all the resources and power to remake these games but i don't think they will do it because they have forgot about the games that brought them to this status and they are too busy milking absolute F#ck out of a 10 year old game that is 18+ but it is only played by 7 year olds
rockstar games, please hire this guy
Some of these changes are also because they used the mobile phone version which had less options less ability to handle certain things, and need to be easier
When it comes to the forklifts in San Andreas there's only 2 positions because Grove Street Games used the mobile version to do this "remastered". A lot of problems in this trilogy are thanks to that unfortunately... Good job in this video!
Not to mention the mission Shakedown is completely broken in VCDE. The mission completes before you break all the glass out.
They changed it purposefully , for the babies of course
So glad I didn’t buy this garbage 😂
You forgot:
You cannot enter cheat codes while the game is paused
Literally about to buy this thinking “I love GTA it can’t be that bad” but watching this video and realizing they’re censoring GTA now killed it for me.
There it needs to be said always and I say it now, pirate a copy, it doesn't worth any money to be given to this hot mess, although it's not even worth downloading it tbh.
I was waiting for #70... God Black Project and Green Goo are near impossible to do now and collecting Horseshoes is a nightmare
I'm glad i bought the OG PS2 versions back in 2020 for PS4.
Pro tip: buy a PS2 and play it there (PS2 is dirt cheap) or get on PC.
22:51 - This makes San Andreas more harder to beat. I hated it.
10:21 There's a bus driver activity in Vice City? I never knew that, that's pretty interesting 3:05p.m. 6/16/2023
Yea. I somehow figured it out on my own when i stole a bus that was dropping off passengers and wanted to imitate what they were doing. This was when I had the game on PS2 as a little kid. Just drive the bus to any bus stop and people will get in.
@@rambii. Oh hey that's pretty neat, and a cool little backstory of how you found it 9:54p.m. 6/19/2023
8:24 holy crap I wasn't expecting that😅
The oversimplification of game mechanics in the "definitive" editions is from those editions being literal ports of the MOBILE versions.
R* had the audacity to upcharge full price for shoddy, mobile ports.
Well if they would have actually worked on these they could have done it, but nope. Without work you dont go places.
Who the hell had the brilliant idea to fly the jetpack with the mouse buttons? God help us all
Better question. Who the fuck is Defective Editions even made for and why does is even exist? I wish Rockstar shut down their studios.
I have to do this every time I play the game
the jetpack controls in sa definitive was one of the things that annoyed me the most, if you're trying to fly upwards and then hit right click, you'll get stuck holding the trigger and you have to let go of the controls to stop it
The fact that Definitive Editions exist still annoys me and make me wanna wish Rockstar shut down their studios.
The reason these games became so easy and lost many features is because it's based on the mobile version, which also had their own issues and of course it's made by grove street games as well
what i actually prefer the DE over the OG, the free camera when driving and the up and down movement on the forklift
thats it, GJ R*
They both use the same menu sounds from SA when 3 and VC had their own to begin with
102. Radar glitch in the air
When sitting in a helicopter or plane, the radar switches to the flight support instrument common from GTA: San Andreas.
The issue with 24 is people will whine it isn't in 60fps even though the games were never meant to run that fast.
I often wonder what Bluepoint would've managed given the same job
Still doesn’t defend the fact that PS2 games just aren’t meant to be remastered
Good video badi
U
I think the biggest gripe with me for defective edition is the soundtrack removal which disappointed me
These games feel dead and bland without them and I thought rockstar would have common sense to bring them back
So yeah I just went back to the PS2 ports
I play the PC versions but with mods that mimic the PS2 version. The experience was unmatched back then. No matter how many reshade mods come, the OG atmosphere is simply the best.
@@allstargaming2500 what mods can do to the games is so astounding, so many feature you can add, but no what GSG, they removed features xD
Yeah, he said that in a stream when I asked about it. They didn't give a single care.
10:53 the chainsaw is revving like a dirt bike
In San Andreas they didn't even bother to improve the textures/models of the clothing, just badly AI upscaled
The so called "Definitive edition" is what happens when you go to the guy who can do it for less.
Any word on Rockstar fixing this? They removed the developer, but is Rockstar going to continue fixing... or has it just been abandoned?
The absent Dodo controls from the PC are real deal breaker for me. I had to plug in my PSP and use it as a controller using e360ce and fly the Dodo to collect the lift bridge package in the beginning of the game.
Don’t accuse Rockstar for making the game easier and ”thinking their players are a lot of childs who need more help”. Accuse the firm that developed the definitive editions, even though Rockstar Games allowed to release it like this.
nah, tis rockstars fault, they fricking got the same douchebags who fucked it up already before with the old remasters.
appreciate the work, as someone who edits when they are bored i understand the work put into it, splicing the clips recorded then deleting the left overs i'll save it anyone who edits knows the routine. the exporting is the worst part because it takes awhile then it takes longer to upload on youtube because it compresses the quality, which is why i record in 1440p and not 4k. its a waste in opinion, compression does not make it as good as raw footage. but anyways yeah it sucks alot of stuff was removed, i was hoping for them to touch up the 2 player option because i notice the 2d player cannot enter some vehicles and it would have been nice if they fixed that but they removed it entirely instead.
And to think that all you have to do to make GTA SA original perfect is installing Essential folder + Proper Fixes + SkyGFX + Rosa Project
And the game is perfect
Not to mention but for #12 if you drink too many sodas the game hard crashes and corrupts itself on the Switch version, as seen in Vargskeletor Joel's stream "Sprunk'd it"
That's pretty sad.
The camera movement in cars and the camera in general killed my will to play this garbage, i like watching my car as i ride it, i like looking at the landscape and everything in my surroundings every time and having this useless ass camera to rotate immediately to the front of the car like i was in a phone kill any possibility of me beating the game
2:25 nah man, Sims 2, Sims 3, and Sims 4 have wonderful and realistic models, even and they are all older than those crappy models from the remasters
min 12:05 when it sinks the car, the car doesnt start to sink until the character has died.
What hurts the most is if they just sold the og games in a pack no one would be upset.
1:59 Thanks damn! GTA 3 was limited and you couldn't move the camera but at most use the appropriate controls so improving it was very easy
I want to get the ps2 copies or emulator to work. Those are supervisor to the pc versions. Even if the pc versions can be modded.
why anyone would be hyped for GTA 6 is beyond me
That's because there a bunch of delusional fabboys
Because Rockstar is actually putting effort into it 😂
As long as there are no good mods for vice city or gta 3, I will still prefer the definitive versions
16:30 It's not a texture, it's a mesh. The mesh and collision do not line up, but I get what you're saying.
All props fall through the ground and it is probably the most noticeable bug now if rockstar added 1 more patch to fix props and the broken ambient sounds I would be happy
There's another problem of the definitive edition
A) The Strange Floating cars in the Porter Tunnel in gta 3 Like someone Made the driving path wrong
