*there are a lot of songs that i wanted to include but 100 is apparently not such a big number
*this is a list of songs that I think everyone should know. popularity, impact, etc played a role in choosing the songs but it's first and foremost a personal opinion. you do not have to agree with me to respect my subjective taste in music
you'd think 100 is enough to cover the most important songs out there but there are so many songs that didn't fit in anymore! seriously, this gave me a whole new perspective on how prescious music is...

ahh I'm always a bit envious of ppl who've known kpop for so long bc my crusty a*s only got into it in like 2017? 2018? which is a shame bc i LOVE second gen bg music, it would have been so cool to be there when the songs came out

As a multi who started to listen to kpop in 2020 and knew 80/100 of the songs, I'm really happy with the result. I also found new songs to listen to because all of them sounded like bops to me :)

Ohh I am similar I started listening to kpop May last year and I know 85/100 songs
There are some older groups I have never heard of till now and some groups I knew of but never listened to like I only know the newest song by The rose but not their older stuff
OMG! I started listening to kpop in 2020 too :D! I did get 91/100 tho, only because I don't listen to MBLAQ, INFINITE, 2PM, and BTOB like that ONLY because I haven't got into them yet haha. So that's why their songs I wasn't familiar with
Im also a Multi and I Started in August in 2020 and I know 97/100 I’m really happy with my result

ohhh thank you sm for saying this, that means a lot to me😭❤ i tried my best, but at the end, i don't rlly know how diverse this is bc it's my own music taste so it's hard to look at it from an outside perspective. plus, ive only been in the kpop fandom since 2019 so i have no idea how iconic or not a song actually was when it came out before then...

I really appreciate the variety of groups on here and includes more than the currently popular groups. one of the few channels to include less popular groups like BAP, VIXX, History, etc.

I appreciate MCND on this list! I love them and they are one of my fav boy groups but they are so underrepresented especially for Ice Age. It’s definitely a song kpop fans should know! Loved the video as a whole I’m proud to say I knew all of them!

I've been into Kpop since 2008, it's been a long time... But this list didn't disappoint. There's a good mix between the new gen songs that you should know if you don't wanna be labeled as "old" (like it happens so many times when someone mentions a new group and I'm like "... who?") and ICONIC ones from many years ago. I'm glad there was more than just "Move" from Taemin, my man has released so much good music that needs way more attention. And I was super pleased seing both MBLAQ and B.A.P, those were some of my all time favourite groups.
Final thoughs: you have good taste.

I've been into kpop since 2021 and i know 86/100. Personally, i think 2nd gen of kpop is more my style but i also like other gen. I'm happy that u include groups like infinite, nu'est, b.a.p, VIXX... and also not only very famous group or songs. I'm definitly gonna check out all songs that i didn't know because they sounds so good. Thank you for the video !
Like for B.A.P., TVXQ and MBLAQ. They were all perfect. I'm in k-pop from 2010 from Cassi to BABY to ARMY.

Thank you so much for putting X1 on the list! They’re disbanded now but Eunsang (my bias) has debuted a few months ago in my favorite band now! I’m glad they’re still remembered! Btw I got 30! Gotta head back to Spotify!
i think x1 is one of the groups ppl still get upset over their short contract & early disbandment... even tho they had only a short time they got rlly popular, so it only made sense to me🤷♀️ idk the members tho, which band did he debut in? the only new band i can think of rn is xdinary heroes
@@iamblufairy Yeah people are still pretty upset about their disbandment but Eunsang is now in a band Younite (actually they’re celebrating their 100th day with fans today) and I’ve been with them since predebut. They’re like 3 months old.

I got 62/100! Not bad. I was a big Kpop Stan during second generation but im still getting familiar with third and fourth generation. Im an Atiny so I of course knew all their songs. Great compilation! I was so excited that MBLAQ was on this list twice! I feel like people have forgotten about them.

Shine by Pentagon and Beautiful Beautiful by ONF are my faves here for sure :) and they were back to back, haha. NO WAIT DAISY! I wasn’t expecting it to be included, because of how overlooked it is. But Daisy really shook me to the core when it came out. I love that song so much. And Dr Bebe! So underrated! Deserved so much hype. This video has a very good variation of different eras, genres and levels of popularity.
