    This third championship in a row was when Michael Jordan was widely considered by the mainstream to be the greatest NBA player of all time, even when he didn't even have the most rings as other players at this time. There will never be another like him.

    When it comes to winning Championship, his level of playing goes up a notch and he be in another zone that nothing can stop him,basket after basket, defensely shutting down his opponents

    1993 Michael Jordan was something special. The 1st 3-peat. Crazy to think what would've happened if he never retired after this series.

      Every year of MJ was something extremely special.87-93 were all unbelievable years, and I have heard just about every year said to be his best by someone. He came back rusty after the first retirement, but was unbelievable again in 95-96. MJ and his team both just dominated that season. No retirement means they keep winning.

    Man his overall game is just so beautiful to watch. Like an artist and their craft. To this day we can’t get enough of it. Gets to his spots and just attacks all the time with beautiful finishes.
    Poetry in motion for sure. MJ is the GOAT! 🐐

    Lebron can’t score like this in the post. We all remember what happened in the 2011 finals. Mavs put little guys on him but took away the driving lanes. Lebron looked lost because he doesn’t have this level of offensive greatness

    The Bulls hit 10 3 pointers in this game which was a record. Crazy long back at it now. Barkley gambled big on the pass from Jordan to Pippen. The defensive rotation left Paxson wide open. Bulls had Pax and BJ on the floor which really spread the defense because both guys were good 3 point shooters. Barkley has never revealed what Jordan said to him after the game. A reporter asked but Barkley said it was a private conversation. This would be the closest Barkley would come to winning a championship as he would lose to the champion or eventual champion for 3 straight years. If I remember correctly, the Suns were favored in this series. They had a great season winning 62 games and Barkley winning the MVP.

    Yea, everyone focuses on offense with the Bulls, which is understandable, but they were actually one of the best defensive teams also. Facing them a point down with a few seconds left would be an insane amount of pressure. KJ did his best.

      @megavolt67 Місяць тому +1

      No he hasn't, and that's why the sports media just mentions that he has six and nothing about how often he defended the title, which is even harder than winning it. It was a huge deal when MJ won three in a row (no one had done it since Bill Russell) and then he somehow did it again.
      But today the media will tell you it's bigger deal that LeBron simply reached eight straight finals while playing on two separate superteams and in a historically weak eastern conference.
      Magic reached eight finals in the 80s but nobody ever brought it up in GOAT conversations. Why? Because the standard is supposed to be winning when you get there, not just getting there. But LeBron and his sycophants have been determined to change that for years and they have sadly managed to muddle a lot of minds in the process.

    BJ falling on the floor before it was made was very unprofessional and soft. I am sure MJ took note and never forgave him. He wanted soldiers and BJ was gone after Jordan returned and lost to the Magic.
