Back in the 70s we made these, but hey shot flaming matches. We attached the striking patch on the inside of the launcher. When the match was shot, it slid across that surface and lite the match. Things were simpler back then.

I remember when i was a kid i probably made 100 of these and i could never get it right 😂this is a throwback
We used to make a simpler version as kids, but that would automatically light a strike-anywhere match.
