Thank you so much, that was a lifesaver! I am new to Procreate and was always wondering how people blend colours in tutorials, and you made it so clear and so easy now 🥰
That tip about reducing opacity on the Smudge tool is a winner for me! Thank you!
Took me several videos to finally starting to understand how to blend colours. Thanks for this amazing video!! 💖
This is amazing! I moved to procreate after a long time in sketchbook and felt frustrated that I couldn't blend as well as I used to. This will sure be helpful! Thank you ❤

Do you have any suggestion for banding in procreate? I have a lot of weird banding texture when I use the tool and also pretty much every brush in the program. Even the gradient tool 😭
why won't they just add normal blending tools istg it's so uncomfortable 😭 but thank you a lot
I’m new to art in general and mostly use my iPad Pro since that’s what I had so I got procreate. I had art class in elementary ( we did a bunch of things like painting , sketching skills , and even beginner pottery ) and I’ve doodled in my own time in the past but never done actual art. Thanks for the video as I’m learning my way around procreate
I’m glad you liked it. My channel is filled with procreate tutorials. They will help you understand it better.

Hi
How to soften edges and blend different colors together
thank you!
Thanks this helps me a lot I am new to procreate
I’m glad you liked it 🙌🏼
Hi. Thanks for making these videos. Curious though, I'm currently using autodesk sketchbook and wondering whether to get procreate or not. What would you suggest?
Sketchbook is good enough. But procreate has a lot of brushes and other tools as well. I'd suggest getting it.
I moved from sketchbook to Procreate and it’s a good choice, there’s a lot of nice features that saves time.
@@Shikarte thank you. Would you say it has more features than sketchbook that it can't replicate ?
@@fliphare9909 thank you for sharing. What m difference and features have you found and how does it save time?
@Intuitive Mindz there’s a lot and some I’m still learning but, you can fill in a space just by dragging the color, and you can make your own pallet from using just pictures and there’s lots of filters and effects, and you can also animate on it, and there’s plenty more
I’m still new to the app myself. Also to undo and red just double tap or hold down, and you can also make different layering groups
And the brushes are more realistic. Also you can make your own brushes even with just letters. Sorry I’m bad at explaining things, but it’s worth it.
Very helpful
When I blend, the background color seeps in, do you know how to avoid this?
😲 tysm this helped me ! All your tutorials are so helpful!
Thank you 😇
Thanks!
C
Is it only on ipad cuz i cant do it
Thank you it is informative. My smudge tool doesn’t work now. How to correct this.
Is there a problem with the device or the pencil?
This is very off topic, but how do you get it to show your brush when you draw? Mine won't do that for me.
It must be in the procreate settings. Check that out once.
THANKS
Thx this helped a lot!

How do you make the brush not have any color when you blend? I used the same brush, but it still makes color.
It’s happening to me too

This is so hard to watch with the colors being out of focus.
It's a screen recording. How that is out of focus?
It is just the brush. It isn’t out of focus.
