When You See it, You will Wonder Why this House is Abandoned!!

  • The European Lego House
Not a whole lot to say about this abandoned house but it was a surprisingly large home with three floors, not including the basement. It is an older home that has been modernized, stucco covers the exterior which likely used to be brick and the interior of the home has mostly white and beige walls and laminate flooring. However the last occupants of the home, which I assume were renters left an awful lot of stuff behind. There is some cool solid wood furniture as well as a TV and numerous other belongings including a whole lot of Lego!
The property that this home sits on is up for redevelopment along with its neighbours. The developer is proposing 4 buildings, three condos and one market rental building, in total this will create 400 new housing units for the area. I don't think the zoning amendment has been approved yet but only time will tell if it gets changed before the development happens.

I can see why the people took off. That traffic noise is enough to make me leave everything there just to get away from it. I bet they never got any sleep. The house is so close to the road it’s insane, plus the house is too weird. Thanks for the tour.

    • @StaticSpaces

The traffic noise is amplified because the window was missing, so i don't think it was that bad while people were living there. What was weird about the house?

Looks like they left everything that was big and hard to move. I bet they received a pretty penny for that house and decided to buy all new stuff. Goes to show people don't buy things that they really value on a personal level as much anymore. Could you imagine giving those cheap silver chairs to the grand kids when your time was about up? They would end up right in the can haha. Another awesome vid though James!

Ya maybe the money was just burning a hole in their pocket, retirement savings, who needs it. 😆 But ya those chairs definitely aren't worth passing down and in fairness most of it isn't nice stuff but to replace it all won't be cheap. Glad you enjoyed it Mickey!!

"High density" - people living on top of each other like sardines. Agressive, greedy developers such as this one basically "bride" their way into owners selling but it's their kids who suffer - uprooted from their friends and school and look what's left behind - hundredes of dollars of their toys such as the Legos and Fooseball table. It's obvious that this family had to settle for a smaller space and that's really a shame and there should be laws, codes, and regulations so developers can't get away with this wanton destruction of perfectly good, already standing homes. Developers such as this one have destroyed complete developments. There are still MANY open areas available. That's the way I see it.

    • @StaticSpaces

I think the children just run wild and I can't imagine living there with the terrible decisions made on paint colors or style or decor if you can call it that 😂.
I hope I am wrong but I feel like no father or father's were in the kids life's.
I just got the feeling of chaos from that house and zero discipline for the kids.
I am pretty sure the house was not tidy or clean much if at all but I could be wrong and I hope I am about this situation. I wish them the best.
Strange people don't take their beds and furniture and stuff with them when they move plus the toys etc for the kids or even toothbrushes it's bizarre in my opinion.
I have always taken ALL my things from place to place and left the apartment or house clean even if I rented a house or owned it. I don't get it . If I didn't want something anymore I sold it or gave it away or took to dump. To each thier own.

This house was OK. Upstairs where you started I don’t like houses where they
have rooms where the ceiling comes down low on both sides. I hate that. It
limit’s the space and makes the room smaller. I can’t imagine why they left
all those large pieces of furniture and all the kids toys. Why were all the Lego
pieces all over the floor. They must be rich folks and will just go out and buy
all new toys. Do you think all women lived there. You said the place looked
feminine. Could have been a mom and 3 kids and no dad. I just don’t understand
why people don’t take all of their belongings with them when they move. I still

Some of the furniture was nice, but it looked like frozen took over the walls with the glitter that chair you were sitting in was the show frozen! And when you showed that hair in the shower I bout tossed my dinner, I hate hair on floors, tubs , sinks, brushes ect. Everyone who knows me calls me a neat freak! But oh well ! As always love it besides the hair. Lol it felt to me like you hitting you're head just I got hit in my stomach.

Ya, i hadn't realized at the time that the chair was from frozen. Im the same way about seeing hair in a public bathroom, there is just something really gross about it and i don't know why. Thanks for the comment Samantha!!

I believe it was a lesbian family that lived there. All the stuff and style of the house just really screams lesbian parents. Yup!

Why so persnickety? Just walk thru and look at the house. Nobody cares what color choices the previous tenants had for their furnishings.

Because my viewers like to hear what i have to say, just the way i like to hear what they have to say in the comments. I think it would be a much less interesting video if i were silent throughout. Lol Thanks for watching!!
