Really hope we don't sell Bentancur. He is an important player for us.
Bergval, Bentacur, Bissouma, Sarr, Maddison, Holjberg and Lo-Celso. Currently, Mid-Field is our one position of strength going into next year. Personally I would rather the team spend time and energy focusing on forwards and full backs.
Hojbjerg & Lo Celso need to be gone, just a number 6 in for midfield. Squad players in defence & a quality striker in.
two of those players are leaving and Mads is a forward player.
Replace Holjberg and lo celso with eze and a quality number 6 and we will be flying

Should he? Let’s take it for face values massively overated by the fanbase. This fanbase have fetishes over players personally rather than what they actually bring. Bentancur should be a rotational player. If not, then move him on. Let’s put the club first, not players. Easily replaceable.

This endless transfer speculation is beginning to get old now. So many unsubstantiated rumours and this one is just bizarre. An injury-free Bentancur can be a lynch-pin in our midfield.
I remember that we were looking good 2 seasons ago, then he got injured and our season fell apart at Xmas, then Kane left. And last season, we suffered the Chelsea game debacle. Now we can cope with the loss of a Bentacaur, but no team can cope with a game like that Chelsea game.
The fans celebrating that loss made be proud too. Confirms that I chose the right bunch of reprobate fans when I chose Spurs as my team 40 odd years ago
There is always weird speculation around south American players for us for some reason no matter how well they play they are either being linked away or fans start thinking of replacing them. They do it with romero. Dagusin has a couple good games at the euros and people think he should be taking romeros spot which is nonsense.

All creators keep listing Bentancur as an 8 he is mor than capable of playing as a 6 thereby allowing Bissouma to play as an 8 as he did for BHA. Would like to see Santiago and Bell sold with a sell on or buy back clause, with Donley going to Birmingham where the coach knows him, Devine needs a European loan IMO, Moore and Hall promoted .....Viejo and Lankshear to PL clubs

And finally someone recognizes that Bissouma has never been a 6. He shined at Brighton because he was an 8. We need that version of Bissouma!
As for Santiago and Bell. They at least need one normal loan before we consider selling them. They haven't had that opportunity yet at senior level.
Donley also hasn't gotten a loan to senior level either so I agree, but I also want to keep him if he can get early Europa minutes.
But I think this season we keep Devine and Phillips. They proved they are ballers at a senior level.
I think Moore to the u21s more likely, and maybe some feautures in senior games same as Hall.
But one I really want Lankshear to be the one getting minutes instead of a loan. He's an absolute baller of a striker.. His all-round game is incredible. However I think it will be one more year in the u21s and making some senior appearances before he breaks through for us when he turns 20.
But if we can get Lankshear and Veliz to prem clubs on loan, that would actually be great.
The last dilemma will be about Scarlett and Parrot. Parrot balled out in the Eredevise, he looks the most ready.. but we might benefit from selling him with a buyback.
I would like to see Scarlett be in the 1st team this year. Starting against weaker Europa teams. This should be the season we see if he evolves into the striker all our past few managers has seen tons of potential in. We've been hyping Scarlett up for years so I hope this year is his breakthrough.

If selling Bentancur gives us the necessary means to sign a top tier striker, then, YES, go for it.

That's the problem, plenty of players never get back to previous ability and form after serious injuries, football history is full of them.
Clubs will always take a punt, like Owen at Newcastle and Stoke, but in truth Bentancur will probably never be the same.

When we send players out on loan we need to make sure players get playing time at the clubs that loan them especially our younger players
It will be difficult to convince a quality player to play second fiddle assuming calafiori arrives
That's why I find it hard to see him coming to us. His agent will probably be causing a ruckus all over social media if he doesn't start enough, just like Dragusins agent.
That Buongiorno lad from Italy is also a CB/LB and is much cheaper. He is good, but not as good as Calafiori, and much cheaper. He's more likely to accept his role in the squad as more of a Europa league starter and slowly integrate him into the prem.
But a better option is Vitality Janelt of Brentford. He plays CDM, LB, and CB. That's such a perfect signing for the positions we need covering. He's prem proven and is a good player. Only problem is Brentford probably wanting a ridiculous fee for him.
• We should not sell Bentancur at all & if the club does sell him, they are making a very big mistake.
• As long Donley plays every game then I don't mind at all.
• I would love to see Soonsup-Bell on loan, he's definitely going to be special for Spurs or somewhere else.
• I don't want Philogene at all, give me the level of Johnson, Kulu & Son or better.
• Calafiori won't be coming to Spurs, there's no way we pay 50m for a backup. He's a Milan, Juve or Inter type of player.
• I would love to see Jonathan David but I would really love to see Alejo Veliz be given the chance.

I guess I’ll be one of the minority and say that I don’t mind at all if Bentancur leaves as long as we replace him with someone of quality that we can actually depend on to stay fit and elevate the team. We can’t keep banking on players that haven’t given us anything back in a while - you can’t predict their form or quality after a big injury
Depend on to stay fit I’m don’t think you can legislate for a shocking tackle getting his game fitness back and a pre season will be more telling
