Spurs fan live in Leeds who are 2nd” team, and went to half dozen games at Elland Rd. Archie’s a phenomenal talent at 18, we’ve done really well to secure him, just hope we use him and he doesn’t get disgruntled this is a great signing, way to go! Great news for Spurs!!

Archie Gray could turn out to be an excellent player or end up like Jed Spence, Jack Clarke, or Ryan Sessegnon. Where are our marquee signings? Since we moved to this new amazing stadium, I thought we would reach another level. It seems like Levy is playing with us. Where is the ambition? If we are not careful, clubs like Newcastle, Aston Villa, and West Ham could finish above us in the Premier League, and it could become the norm.
Superb player young and English too. Win Win.

Just think of the N’dombele signing that puts effectively 30 million into perspective.
A young talent played in probably the hardest division in English football I just think it’s a no brainer but only time will tell.

As Mourinho wanted Skriniar and ended up with Rodon cheap option and Conte wanted Bastoni and got cheap option Lenglet, if I was Conte or Mourinho I would have considered walking away!
It’s perfect. He is two footed and can cover RB as a back up and play in midfield. He will be happy to sit on the bench and get minutes in the prem and Europe and will develop. I love this deal.
Bergvall, Sarr and gray is going to be an unstoppable midfield in 3/4 years
+Van der Ven (Captain), Udogie, Dragusin. Assuming no major issues with any players set for 3-5 years. Noting Romero will probably go end of next season unless we win a lot of silverware? Only Califiori or Geertrudia could better what we have across the back now!

The situation with Rodon seems more like a person being happy just playing football and being somewhere you’re appreciated.

People are saying he is like kimmich in the sense that he can play rb and cdm. But he is different. Kimmich is a natural rb with enough technical ability to play as a 6. Lacks the legs to cover ground. Archie gray while having mainly played rb this season, is a natural 6 who moved to rb not because he wasn't good in midfield, but because leeds lbs are awful. Long term definitely a midfielder. His future is definitely not at rb. We saw last season against chelsea. In midfield he is incredible.

I look at Archie Gray as a midfielder who can play at right back and not a direct replacement for Emerson. He would be hugely wasted if he's coming here to be a right back. The kid is a midfielder, full stop.

Now THIS is a real statement signing by Spurs, and following on from Bergvall it shows that Munn and Lange are really starting to show their worth. If we could get Jaden Philogene in ahead of Barcelona, and then a couple of solid starers, like Eze, then it'll be some window. Especially, with the expected clearout as well of people choking up the squad for some of these talented youngesters. Good to see and hopefully some of the fans who've been unrealistic about us needing to have signed 10 players already will chill...a little lol

No, he's not. He will be a backup, just like Bergvall and Dragusin. I remember getting excited about Sessegnon only for him to be a massive flop. Skipp was a star player at Norwich in the Championship, now he's surplus to requirements. I'm not overly excited.
Gray looks great, especially for his age. Yes he's good for the championship and that doesn't always translate to the Prem but he definitely has potential. He'll be 2nd to Porro as RB I think but could see him being an amazing DM in a few years.

Yeah but Conte hated him because it was a club signing not his signing while right now Ange also wants Gray.
It isn’t similar at all. Djed was rumored to have attitude issues (why he never played under Conte and why Ange didnt want him) and was 4 years older on signing.
This kid is ranked as one of the best 50 wonderkids in europe.
