If your defenders concede many goals in the system they are brought to play in then they are clearly not doing my a good enough job. Arsenals defence last season provided both goals and clean sheets. You could argue Maddison and Solanke, but I’d rather play Partey at CDM and have Rice & Odegaard as the 2 other midfielders. Solanke and Havertz is 50/50, but Havertz’s record when he has actually played as a striker is shockingly good and Arsenal have won something like 14 out of their last 15 games with him up top

This aged amazingly after hindsight of the match. What would have looked deluded from Robbie prior to the match wouldn’t look so deluded now. Timber played amazingly well and was my MOTM. (I would have picked Udogie too for this combined 11).

Gabriel is fully carried by Saliba and we've seen it time and time again whenever Saliba isn't available. He makes too many mistakes and ridiculous decisions. For chemistry,you can surely bring him in the XI but i fully believe VDV would be the better option from a nuetral point.

Last season, he still regularly made mistakes like against Villa where Watkins could've scored 2 goals in the first half at the Emirates because of him. And this season, he's already causing issues. Look at the goal they conceded against Brighton and focus on Gabriel and it will get more ridiculous each time you watch it, I promise. He gets absolutely bullied by Pedro and Salibas movement means he can't reach Pedro and cover for Gabriel in time.
