Led diodes are better than oled but are super expensive and cant be packed at all in a good density, unlike oled and lcd @@Vexcenot

If only Valve spent as much money and effort into maintaining a game they advertise as playable that's earnt them millions of dollars as they did on Steam Decks and shutting down fan projects.
i always love it when companies use the real thing rather than rendering it
practical effects might be expensive but you get the ultimate bragging rights in effort and time
As a consumer who really tries to avoid wasting their money, IRL footage really sells to me that a company is confident in their product, and plus, I can see it myself. I hate shopping on Amazon (and similar sites) for exactly this reason- nearly everything there looks fake and I can't always tell what's being exaggerated versus what I'm actually going to get.

@@OppositeOpinion There's four or five dozen Decks, several stage lighting and props, camera crew, post-fx specialists and extra hardware to produce the video, who knows how much for the stage rent.
All the costs for that can easily climb to thousands, whilst a top dog workstation for CGI rendering can set you back $5000 or even less. Most companies prefer the cheaper route.
Valve will do literally anything except Half Life 3 😂

They've been working on HL3 since episode 2.
Go read the final hours of Portal 2/HL:A. They're constantly starting up Half-Life projects and then shutting them down because the quality isn't high enough.

This makes me 1% more sad. I bought my (normal) Steam Deck a year ago and played it 4 times BUT WHEN THE TIME IS RIGHT - I WILL BE READY
This could help: Remember that while it looks like a handheld console it's really just a small PC, if you end up not gaming "on the go" a lot you can still use it for other stuff besides gaming. Or just sell it, Valve products hardly lose value.

Norway has a a 196 km border with Russia and Valve doesn't ship Steam Deck there.

Words can't describe how happy I have felt with my SD, it's the best piece of tech I have bought in my life, no other device has given me the same joy. I despise simping for corporations, but if Valve keep up with the same consumer practices that they have shown with these devices, I will keep buying the next generation of devices to come without even thinking twice. Thanks for creating something so special, Valve

The Steam Deck OLED is quite simply the greatest bit of tech I ever owned, and still always finds new ways of blowing me away!
Imagine if we ever got a full-length Valve-made single player gaming experience (or three), built with the Steam Deck (OLED) features in mind; The Steam Deck’s own Half-Life: Alyx moment.

Where is TF2 major update coming?
Even if we got another major update, you’d just get turned off from it by the bots which is what happens if you ask for anything else before the bot crisis is solved.

I've been enjoying my OLED since February 9th like crazy, you guys did an amazing work with this system! The only downside is that, after I turn it on, all my games start updating (and I have almost a hundred of them).
