Jesse Lopez Finale Post Game Show | Survivor 46
-ss
fans get so caught up in those making flashy and more in your face moves and forget that survivor is a social game and how important it is to make sure people lile you and wanna root for you at the end of the day.
it has always been that way. Jurors always vote for who they like the most and they validate/make up reasons to vote for that person
Charlie was social etc, the difference was Kenzie's buddie Tiffany rooted and advocated for her, but Charlie's buddie Maria was a bitter narcissist. Kenzie is a great winner, but that reunion and the long pause literally made me physically sick, first time in 46 seasons, such a painful and cringe moment. The after party is a disgrace for the losers always and should go away.
Maria lost specifically bc like other New Era flashy move endgamers, she set herself up to have to win immunity AND fire at 5/4, whereas Charlie and Kenzie did not.
@@CadeCYC THIS!!!
He wasn’t owed the vote and Maria was petty…both can be simultaneously true
I agree w/ Rob....If Kenzie would not have done well w/ fire, Maria would have found some other reason not to vote for Charlie. I believe that Maria was a bit of a bitter & petty player. No matter the circumstances, Maria would have never voted for Charlie to be the Winner of Survivor. Yes, it's true that Kenzie did a great job, but Charlie was also a great player. Maria looked bitter duirng the finale- Charlie voted her out & he is in the finale. Marie wanted to be the winner. If she was not going to win, she would make sure that Charlie would not get her vote to win either...
Yeah I think that Maria was determined NOT to vote for *anyone* that was her ally during the game (Charlie or Ben…or even Q if he had made it to the end) - because in her mind, they are only sitting there because of her (which is so ridiculous 😂). So she voted for Kenzie by default and I guarantee that if Liz had won fire - she would’ve gotten Maria’s vote instead.
Ben would have freaked out if he had to break a tie
yikes i didn't even think about that, poor thing lol
it was a great final 3 tho with the best winner!
Shredded out*
😅 How in the world did she think she was actually a threat? She was delusional all season. Too bad the jury wasn’t allowed to laugh out loud. The look on their faces when Liz said she would have won was comical.
Omg right. She was so unlikeable. Kenzie is a great winner, but would have been satisfying to be a Charlie, Ben, Liz final 3
They shudv laughed! It was hysterical! 😂
@@ericawyeth Liz in the final 3 would have been amazing cause I wanted to see her get COOKED by the jury, just absolutely HUMBLED
Watch her Rob has a Podcast exit interview, you’ll be pleasantly surprised !
Yeah failed spectacularly in all aspects(physical, social, strategic) and feeling she would have won!! WTF?
If Charlie had to win he should have seen himself being in final 3 with Liz & Ben.
Bhanu did warn them about Kenzie the dragon mermaid hahaha :D
Bhanu the foretelling sage of the season
Dragon... Mermaid indeed! 😂😂
ahem **mermaid-dragon**
That was obviously kept in on purpose. I was pretty sure she was going to win after I saw that 😂
I can’t stop saying Aysha like Asia. I legit cried when I saw her. This is epic. Can’t wait and they better be nice to her on the island. Wonder how many of them will know her?
I hope no one does, see she can move forward
I can't believe Q asked the worst jury question imaginable, "What are you going to do with the money?" Whatever they damn well want!
Rob is correct. They really need to go back to doing the live after show. Doing it there just doesn’t give them the time to do what they need to cover.
It's all about the $$$
Also, players like Charlie don't get a chance to recover from the last 26 days of physical, mental, and emotional turmoil in the environment they haven't even left yet, while also having to immediately react to a loss dumped on top of that. When Charlie took awhile to respond, I felt like he must have been having such a hard time processing what had just happened. He legitimately could have/should have won, and he knew it. To have to respond to that right away is really harsh.
Maria's final vote for Kenzie and not Charlie was a real back-stabbing, 2-faced move, and it was written all over Charlie's disappointed face. Obviously it was Maria's choice to vote whomever she wanted to, but not going to lie, I lost a bit of respect for her. Trust NOBODY!
And Liz helped Kenzie win immunity challenge to get her out. I would be furious.
You forget Charlie booted her out?
@@andrewzimmerofficial Charlie’s vote was irrelevant unless he could get someone else to not vote her out (Ben/Liz/Kenzie were voting her out). Additionally, Maria came for him first technically.
Agreed she is bitter and narcissistic, didn't want to give Charlie any credit for the work they did together. Charlie was robbed. It shouldn't be a popularity contest, and Qs vote for what people are doing with the money is not who should win survivor. I was a q fan even with all his antics until that. Dumb. Kenzie wasn't undeserving as she convinced people they were safe but Charlie was in on every vote and drove the whole game. Something is wrong if he couldn't get his point across during the jury questioning. Let them talk!
@@BryanTeresi-p8c you forget Charlie planned to get Maria out in previous tribal if she didn’t win immunity? Boo hoo
Recap was better than finale! Very excited for next season, let's go Aysha🥰
I seriously had to rewatch it because I was so tired I missed it and was like omg
Facts
I’m loving the new tradition of having Jesse for the finale 🎉 I hope we keep it going!
Also .... SINCE WHEN was Liz a threat????
😁Since never
😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂 she was living in her own fantasy
Maria and Charlie are NOT going to remain friends
They are never ever ever…getting back together 🎵

Charlie did nearly win. He must come back for All stars but man I cant help but wish he won this season. Its his season. Dont mind the Kenzie win. I cant help but wonder if he actually wins if he sits next to Mariah at the end.
I think that FTC was his biggest miss. He didn’t convey any of what I viewed as his biggest moves throughout the season. All of his social plays - of which there were MANY! So I think that he could definitely win against Maria in the end if he was able to verbalize what he did in the game. But if not, she would win just as Kenzie did.
Maria not voting for Charlie was a BIG MISTAKE!
Congrats to Kenzie! I’ve always agreed with Charlie that the person the jury chooses is the rightful winner. I personally would have voted Charlie but Kenzie had a solid endgame.
Unfort.. this group of jurors seemed petty n bitter n their criteria for good game play isnt the same as other people. Charlie had a good all round game, not just on the social front. Also, i cant recall seeing Questions from Maria n Liza, on the final vote.
I would have been torn but I think Kenzie had better responses all around. I think Charlie didn’t sell his game hard enough.
I absolutely think Charlie played a great game, but I think we as viewers sometimes forget that the players on the island don't see everything like we do so it's the finalists job to sell their game to jury which I think Charlie didn't do the best (in my opinion). Don't sleep on Kenzie. Survivor is a social experiment and Kenzie's social skills were so good that she only had 1 vote against her the entire season which was supposedly a goof up from Ben.
@@jbandfreak1115 He should have listened to Bhanu. 😂
Thank you Rob for speaking about the awful after-show. It’s so irrelevant in its current format. There is no value in doing it right there after the reveal. It’s 2024, get a live audience and allow the players to regroup and come back after the public perception.
I view it as Maria's vote was 'sour grapes'. I feel that she figured, if she can't win, then neither can Charlie. Doesnt say much for Maria.
so, Venus called it correctly...Maria's character is questionable
The finale was a little straightforward but Liz was hella entertaining and her inner Chappell jumped out when she said Booo Tomato Tomato. I think I laughed or screamed at pretty much everything she did this episode. What a star 🌟
I was very excited with the Kenzie win! She really was just a solid person all season and connected really well with everyone. Especially since she came into the merge with the Bhanu target on her and managed to lay low and redirect. She made Maria feel good while voting her out which I feel was underreported. And she also stressed starting a family at FTC, which is Maria’s major theme. So happy for our Mermaid Dragon Winner!!
I absolutely loved Tiffany this season but especially on the jury. Fact checking Q, timekeeping, shutting down the music references from the jump, and making great faces. She was iconic through and through.
Charlie played well too, but it was a little too quiet and not as social as Kenzie. If it went to a tie I would be surprised if Ben didn’t choose Charlie over Kenzie again. Ben is definitely a contender for Sia money. I love it when someone who’s never won anything before randomly wins the final immunity challenge. It reminded me of a Romeo or a Jaclyn.
Yeah the after show was pretty weak and felt very manufactured after a season of just letting the players play. Overall though I really enjoyed this season, and recency bias potentially speaking, but I think it’s my favorite of the new era.
Also omg I’m so excited to watch Aysha get drafted first next season! 🤩 The first time I’ve ever recognized a non-returnee non-crossover contestant just from the preview!
Maria is Survivor 46's Harvey Dent. You either go home a hero, or stay in the game long enough to see yourself become the villain.
Congrats to Kenzie! Well deserved!!!!! Amazing winner!!!! Whoooooooooooo!!!!
Also excited for Ayshaaaaaaaa!!!!
FTC format was HORRIBLE this season. Absoulte hate when the jury strongarms bad answers out of contestants using a 30 second time limit (Tiff and Soda I'm looking at you), hate it becomes a question of the money outside the game (Its not about that, no one has learned from Earl Cole), and to a lesser extent it completely ruined Maria's character in my eyes after rooting for her as my winner pick all season.
Loved loved loved watching the season, absoultey hated the FTC. Kenzie is still a completely valid winner but after that FTC it leaves a bad taste in my mouth
I really agree. Something just doesn’t feel right about the winner being decided by an answer for how they would use the money. That had nothing to do with outwit, outplay, outlast.
@@mystic7934 in the words of the great Earl Cole…
“we wouldn’t even be playing this game if we didn’t all need a million dollars. I mean a million dollars will change his life, Cassandra’s life, and my life as well. I mean, I’m not supposed to feel bad because I have a job. I’m not supposed to feel bad because I have a car. I had a tough upbringing, and I worked hard. I was raised by a single mom. There was drugs in my family. There was violence. There was everything. And that’s why I feel like it shouldn’t be based on need. It’s just how you played the game. And we all need it. We all need it”
Every new era player should know this ‼️‼️‼️
Kenzie is a satisfying winner. But Maria is a very bitter juror. She’s a villain.
Also, Liz was so delusional 😬
YES! I would like a breakdown of the Jury to see if anyone would vote for Liz in a final 3.
@@sgtrock6283 In seasons past Jeff has done the “who would’ve voted for who” and as much as I don’t mind Liz, it would’ve been nice seeing a dose of reality. No way she was winning. Kenzie sweeps the Jury if it’s Kenzie/Liz/Ben
I would have thought that Liz shouldn't be allowed to touch Kenzie's challenge pieces.
I think Kenzie won solely on her story at tribal. We focus on the Maria vote, but if Q had not had the feels for Kenzie's story, it would have been a tie.
I thought that Maria was set to win until she didn’t take Liz to reward, tried hard to vote out Charlie and making Q her guy, lied to Charlie about why she voted for him, and then voted for Kenzie instead. Wow, really surprising in a bad way. Big character flaw.
Lost all respect for Maria
And claims all she wanted to do is make her kids proud of her. Epic fail.
What Maria did to Charlie is so messed up. I detect a very ugly and bitter “It Should have been me” jealousy from her.
Curious to see what she says about her vote in post game interview
Yassssss! I kept saying dat she looked like dat typw of person from t start!
She played too hard too soon and got voted out like Ricard, Omar, Jesse, Carson….need I go on?!?
Absolutely. She doesn’t seem like a person with integrity after that move. Not at all.
I'm wondering what conversations she had with the other jury members before the vote. Interested to see her post show interviews
I never liked Maria. she felt the queen of the island that would win no matter what. she was very cocky. she was still butthurt that Charlie voted her out. Charlie was definitely the better player and Maria just used her being a mom as a way to try to emotionally manipulate the rest of the cast to make them feel like she was a “super mom” for simply playing survivor and being away from her kids 🙄. Charlie was the better physical/ strategic/ social player.
The secret scene of Maria totally bullying Ben!
Agreed. She wanted people to come to her all the time to talk game.
Liz was the worst player. I knew Ben wouldn't get a vote. I'm glad Kenzie won but Maria let Charlie down
I knew that was Aysha I saw on the sneak peak of Survivor 47.I can’t wait for the RHAP Survivor draft to see what her fellow pod mates have to say about & who will pick her
Rob has to pick her. He won the 46 draft. If he doesn't choose to go first...BIG MISTAKE!!!
It’s so crazy that everyone wanted to make big moves and have a big resume just for them to vote Kenzie in the end who had nothing on her resume
I think that’s part of it actually. So many of them wanted to be the main character of the season, so Kenzie telling them she was just a number in their games fed their egos.
Unbelievable that Ben wouldn’t take Liz to final three because she was t even close to being a threat. If he had, and Charlie won fire, Charlie would have won. Hard to believe that Ben didn’t realize that he couldn’t win against Charlie or Kenzie.
I really don’t think that he made his decision based off strategy. I think he just told Liz that was his reason in order to make her feel complimented and not as upset with him (Ben can’t stand the thought of someone feeling hurt by him). His choice, IMO, was purely about who was his bestest buddy. It was an emotional decision from the heart. Not strategic. He wanted to sit next to people he loved and let fate decide what would happen next.
Charlie was robbed. Qs reason for switching his vote was ridiculous. And Maria was such a bitter jury member
what more does the good guy have to do to win in this game? Charlie was the most strategic and social by far according to the edit and he even miraculously controlled his threat level to get to the end, something even Omar or Jesse couldn't do. So many bitter and egotistical jurors and that Maria backstab.. uff. This game has gotten too aggressive and toxic for me, can't take more.
Imo her best move was not making a big move. Everyone on this season that went after someone else publicly got sniped immediately after. She focused on relationships and information. Even her not being behind the Tiff blindside I think worked for her. Sticking her head out there would get her gone. This season was an emotional one for these players and at the end of the season they went with the underdog not the strategist. I’m here for it honestly haha
Adam helped Ken in Millennials vs Gen X. Stopped to ensure Jay or David didn't win the plinko puzzle challenge
Liz helping Kenzie win was her biggest game move lol idk how she made it to final 5 she was no threat to anyone
Final 5 Immunity - giving help verbally vs giving help physically… Sophie wanted Albert to help her pick up building cards, requesting physical help.
Liz did not need to bring the board, just count holes and give her a number. Several instances of verbal assistance exist- Judd saying “Ancient Ruins” to Rafe in Guatemala. It’s gotta be an on set call in the spirit of fairness I think.
Liz helping in the challenge was bullshit in my opinion and was the reason Maria’s game ended. She should have been disqualified from the challenge
It’s the same principle as a challenge throw, in my opinion. Liz lost on purpose in order to help another party win so that the target she wanted could be voted out. It’s the same as what Peih Gee and Jaime did, and that is a move most people seem to praise.
@@andrewzimmerofficial Its the game. this is survivor, not real life. Ppl have helped others through out survivor history. Maria should've yelled at charlie to go get her plank.
@@andrewzimmerofficial Helping others has been allowed before many times, Adam telling Ken when his ball was dropping in MvGX f.e. It’s just a part of the game, if someone is a clear threat to win then the other players are perfectly within their right to gang up on them if possible. Maria’s game didn’t end there, it ended when she didn’t tell Q to play his idol at 6. She could’ve been at 5 with Q potentially taking the hit for her, or she could’ve found an idol. Odds are they rehid it and just no one found it. Perhaps they should’ve told Liz she couldn’t move the plank but they had ample time to do so from the moment she started running. That call was not made so it’s fair game.
@@andrewzimmerofficial There was nothing in the rules that said you can't help another. The rules are explained very clearly to them before each challenge (we do not see that part on television). They sometimes have an hour or so to even prep mentally for the challenge and to think about how to approach it. During this time, the showrunners make sure they understand all the rules and answer any questions about the challenge they may have. This is how it goes on every reality comp show.
The challenge helping is good and should be allowed. This is a political game.
What is with these pre set questions it’s so stupid who cares what they do with the money that has nothing to do with Outwit Outplay Outlast
The edit really seemed to suggest that Kenzie’s social game actually wasn’t as strong as Charlie’s.
Kenzie really buddied up to Liz in the last few episodes and they supposedly got pretty close - and yet…Liz ultimately voted for Charlie to win anyway.
We got all that footage of her helping Ben throughout the night, only for Ben to ultimately choose Charlie to sit next to him at FTC - and risk losing Kenzie to fire. Ben has even said that if it went to a tie vote at FTC…he would have chosen Charlie again over Kenzie - and Ben is a player that solely votes with his heart, so clearly Charlie had the better social game with him specifically than Kenzie did. Also - somehow her closeness with Ben somehow caused him to write HER name down at a Tribal where she could have gone home if Venus played her idol. 😂
Plus if we go backwards a bit - Kenzie wanted to buddy up to Charlie and Maria to work with them on a Tiffany blindside…only for them to choose to cut her out of it. They didn’t want to work with her and they didn’t trust her to not tell Tiff.
Kenzie’s lack of social game is also what caused her to have yet ANOTHER ally of hers blindsided behind her back - Hunter. He trusted her word that he didn’t need to play his idol…because that’s what she really believed…and it led to his downfall when SHE still needed/wanted him in the game. Her social game wasn’t strong enough to be let in on what was TRULY going on in the game. Also, Hunter’s closeness with Kenzie didn’t earn her his vote. He voted for Charlie to win in the end.
On the day of the Venus vote-out…Kenzie wanted Q to go, not Venus who she considered an ally to her at this point - but her social skills were unable to sway Charlie or Ben to her side…whereas Charlie was successfully able to sway Kenzie AND Liz (who was gunning hard for Q) to go for Venus instead. Kenzie and Liz didn’t get their way, and Charlie’s social skills got him his way.
If we go back further - both Q and Tiff preferred and trusted EACH OTHER over Kenzie. She was purposefully kept in the dark about their secret little “alliance of 6” even though they should have felt closer to her than to these other people they only met at merge. Only when their own relationship imploded did Tiff come to Kenzie as a sort of last resort.
Kenzie only won because Maria is such a villain that she was only willing to vote for someone who was never allied with her (both Charlie and Ben were the entire game)….and also because Q randomly decided to base his vote on whoever he thought needed the money most.
I wish that Charlie would have focused more on his social game at FTC because I think it was actually stronger than Kenzie’s and the edit seems to think so as well. He was always in the know with EVERYONE - and anytime he decided he wanted to do something, he was able to convince everybody around him and pull it off seamlessly because everyone truly trusted him. He made sure to downplay his super tight relationship with Maria so that the target was kept on her…and so that people felt comfortable coming to him with their plans, even if they involved going against his allies…and that’s how he was able to maintain control in the game and do it without anyone getting mad at him or feeling manipulated by him. He literally STOLE Kenzie’s resume move from her on purpose and still got back in her good graces afterwards. I don’t think there is a single person this season that didn’t SEEK OUT Charlie in order to work with him, and they all stated it’s because they liked him and they trusted him. I mean, Charlie was so likeable socially that he won 2 immunities nearly back to back and STILL no one wanted to get rid of him. I’m just bummed that he didn’t seem to verbalize any of this at FTC!
Looking at the season as a whole.. they finally got the balance right again with idols and advantages. We dont need them! A couple of idols is enough. Shot in the dark is almost a non factor so i dont care about that.
But the advantages didnt dominate screen time and the players could actually play socially and strategic. Back to the good old days
I was in shock watching liz carry kenzie’s plank. How the f* was that allowed? It’s one thing to go back and tell kenzie a number, but actually jumping into kenzie’s lane and grabbing equipment feels like a farce in an individual challenge.
rules need to be stricter about people helping each other
Yep, complete bullshit. Her challenge should have ended the second she left her lane
If it isn't stated, it's fair game. If they don't like it now, then they can add it to the rules of challenges now.
If it isn't stated, it's always better to do it than to ask Jeff for an answer on the spot. That's been stated repeatedly
@@AlphaOutlawits always been in. There have been seversl instances of people trying to cheat to jelp someq in individual. You can verbally help but cant do stuff gor them
@@uiripriest298 Jeff didn't stop this one and had the chance to say no. They didn't expect this angle for that challenge, and the call he made on the spot was to let it continue. Jeff has always said to do something if the situation is ambiguous instead of asking for an on the spot call. Jeff's call is the word to play by at the end of the day
Kenzie wisely made the choice to own her social game as opposed to talking about being a strategic mastermind. In a season full of egos, it’s hard to paint yourself as the sole mastermind.
When you break it down, nothing really changed from the outcome. Q, Venus, Hunter, Liz, and Soda all changed their votes. This means that Kenzie went from a 6-2 win over Charlie to a 5-3 win. Yeah she lost three votes, but picking up two votes from Charlie and having three locked votes was enough to win.
It was just a close game and Charlie did a good job of changing minds. He just couldn’t change enough. Kenzie played great, but just played a different game than Charlie. It’s all gucci.
Also congrats on Aysha being on Survivor Forty Several!!!!!!
🥳 🥳 🥳
I love Beth's and Tyler's take on Ben. I found his lack of gameplay beyond frustrating. And he'll only be remembered for quoting Rock Music references.
I think that Maria’s vote for Kenzie was a mix of bitterness and seeing herself in Kenzie. From what’s been said it seems that Maria was not happy that Charlie had been against her for a while, and definitely held that against him (even though she did the same to him). Her saying that she saw the fire in Kenzie’s eyes seemed to be more of seeing her despair at being so close to changing her life and possibly failing. This was furthered when Kenzie explained her story and what she would do with the money at ftc. That looked like it struck a chord with Maria in wanting to set someone up like she would have wanted when she was younger. While I do think that Maria was bitter, I think that seeing herself in Kenzie is truly what took her away from voting Charlie, not anything that he did himself.
Maria was still bitter from the loved ones letter that’s why she didn’t vote charlie
Tiff may be the most biased juror on a jury in recent history. The opening attack of Charlie and Ben and then Kenzie getting minutes in her 30-second response and both Charlie and Ben being interrupted as they were speaking was just weird.
She was so disappointing. Didn't anyone tell her that Kenzie was gunning for her, and it seemed to me that Kenzie was dishonest when she said she was sad when Tiff went. The show clearly showed her being disappointed that she wasn't included in the vote.
Liz was one of the most entitled Karen’s in Survivor history.
I didn't want to use that word, but yes, she comes across as bit of a "kooky" Karen.
I really feel bad for Charlie at the aftershow T_T Damn you Maria!
I think an underrated quality for survivor players to develop is the ability to make other people feel smarter than you, but only by a small margin. People just hate voting for nerds, and Charlie was the most humble and inoffensive iteration of the nerd we’ve ever seen. The nerd really never wins even when they should-people’s monkey brains just won’t let them.
So tired of people making decisions or who wins based on who needs the money and who doesn’t.
Maira: “You’ve got my vote, Uncle Charlie.”
Charlie: “I don’t need to make fire.”
**Maria sees Kenzie make fire…**
Charlie: “Dammit, Maria!”
**Maria becomes ultimate villain and loses respect of many previous fans of hers**
you put up partition puzzles if you dont want them to collaborate.
Maria could have just said a million dollars would make hell lot of difference to Kenzie instead of some BS about seeing fire in Kenzie's eyes!
The good thing about the way the votes ended up, it was a good player that won. A player that I was rooting for. I would have liked to see Charlie win, but Kenzie played a great game. From the beginning you can see she had the potential.
Way to go Kenzie!
Rules question: did Liz have to solve her puzzle or could she have just solved her number code using the info from Kenzie's puzzle.
Goated season
Wifey and I started watching around 2/3 through this season. The episode where Liz through a fit over Applebees. So, unless we really missed something, we were both scratching our heads when she said she viewed herself as this big threat. Don’t get me wrong, I’m sure she’s a nice person and a wonderful mom but that’s her survivor legacy - Throwing a temper tantrum on National TV.
They get caught in the game and thinking more themselves then what they are. Perfect example Charlie outplayed everybody but people voted for the female because she needed the money. Basically the longer you stay in the Game no matter if made zero moves you get considered a "threat"
RHAP's content has pretty much become my after show at this point
Calling Kenzie’s post show speech about the money the “Reverse Gabler” was amazing from Rob.
Q vs Liz vs Venus would have been the wildest and funniest final tribal for Survivor 36 (and maybe the most "a propos" for this season)
Shoutout North Carolina!!!! Stoked for Kenzie!
Ben did say on the On fire pod that he would have voted Charlie. That being said, that question was asked now where he has had time to think, see the edited show, and plenty of sleep. I think in real time in his emotional state that he would have voted for his emotional rock.
That’s a nice thought but he literally already chose Charlie when he brought him to the Final 3 so it feels like you’re reaching for something that isn’t there.
@ryanjohansson8950 Ben said that his F3 decision was based on who he thought he could beat at the end and who could beat Liz in fire. That is a much different decision then picking a winner between the two. As emotional as Ben was at that point, selecting his emotional rock Kenzie seems very viable.
@@goombas3040 You’re just making an unwarranted and unproven assumption. Ben chose Charlie to bring to the end, Ben said afterward that he would have voted for Charlie to win. It feels like you’re just trying to undermine the friendship between Ben and Charlie for no reason when Charlie was there for Ben every bit as much as Kenzie was.
31:09 I could see it being like what they did after Claire in 43. At the start of 44 Jeff announced that no one would be allowed to sit out in back to back challenges, regardless of if the cycle had a reward challenge.
So like Jeff would announce a new “stay in your lane” rule, which would be really funny for the 4several cast, because you know the super fans would be wondering what tf happened at the end of 46.
Surprised that Adam helping Ken wasn’t brought up…
Great finale! Couldn’t be happier with the winner. Listening to their final tribal…you can’t deny Kenzie. So open, so vulnerable and just so damn like able. Social queen!
kenzie said one of her jury answers that she would use the money to start a family.
this year - she is pregnant and - is expecting her first child.
My favorite winner since Tony! Was cheering for her since day one. What a great season this was (post-Bhanu Dark Era)

@@andrewzimmerofficial It’s just fun trivia, don’t be a spoil sport
I love the new challenges! I like that no one has practiced the any of them.
It did bother me when Liz helped Kenzie, but hey 🤷🏽♀️ if it’s not against the rules……
I was rooting for Maria 😩 I am happy with the winner though.
I think Liz cheating for Kenzie was terrible. Kenzie should have to get her own board. I think we'll see a rule change in coming seasons.
@@bethmalm2529yeah my friends and I were all screaming at the screen. We couldn’t believe what we just saw & Jeff allowed it
Is it coincidence or causation that the people who referred to themselves in 3rd person were the most delusional of the season.
I will say one of Kenzie’s biggest moves was also bouncing back after her number one ally was gone. She could’ve been vindictive and went on a revenge tour but she handled that correctly and it kept her in the game!
The other stand out single Kenzie moment to me was her masterful (with Tiffany) mollifying of Hunter during his blindside! Masterful. She was a huuuge part of each of those blindsides. Amazing actor.
she wasn’t acting, she voted for q in that vote and genuinely anticipated him going home because of tiff’s and q’s heated argument, and when hunter didn’t play his idol when he and q tied, she realized it was a clear opportunity to take him out on the revote
She literally voted with Hunter for Q in that tribal. Why try to give her credit for stuff that she was on the wrong side of?
She had zero idea that Hunter would be going home. So that wasn’t her blindside. It was just her sheer confidence in conveying to Hunter that he was safe (which she genuinely believed) that convinced him he didn’t need to play his idol. SHE was blindsided by that Hunter vote and lost an ally that she still wanted in the game because of it. Similar to how Maria told Q not to play his idol because she stupidly thought the votes for all being laid on Charlie. It was literally the exact same scenario with Kenzie and Hunter.
Yes, this!! And alsoooo maria's lolling into not warning Q that was ALL Kenzie and Liz, Charlie actually nearby ruined that bc he was so scared of Maria. Just bc of how well Kenizie sold it Maria she was sooo sure she had the votes. Kenzie pulled off an amazing game.
@amberjulia123 no, she literally referred to in in the finale in the after show. She knew.
Was so cringe watching liz help kenzie and that it was allowed especially to the extent it did.Very shocked Charlie didn't win and Maria didn't give him her vote. Pretty lame how it all transpired.
Giving verbal help in the fire challenge….allowed?
Ben had 0 votes but a million hearts
Why did I not see Rob say his catch phrase "SINCE WHEN?" after the votes at final 5?
Next club condo, can we get an update or the whole twitter feuds saga? I’m not on my social media and snippets every Mondays is not enough to grasp where they’re at. Who’s beefing?
Hated the finale. To hear people say they voted for who needed the money was blah. Never enjoyed a Liz eyeroll more!
charlie so robbed Initially was rooting for Maria, but after seeing how vengeful she was by not voting for Charlie i take all my support back
I think Maria followed her heart more than focusing only on strategy. I understand why she felt a million dollars should more so go to a woman hustling in an (oftentime )low paying industry since she was 15.. than a Harvard educated guy who's from one of the richest towns in America and is heading (most likely) to law school to go on and be a very financially successful lawyer. She followed her heart and that is just as valid a reason as any other! Kenzie nailed some Final Tribal qs, and I felt like Charlie fumbled some and didn't show his game in the best light. All three are great and I'd watch them all play again!
Maria lost a lot of respect for me.
Maria backstabbed Charlie 3x -- one, when she befriended the most hated player in the game and made him her number 1 after stringing Charlie along as her supposed number 1 -- two, when she and Q teamed up to unsuccessfully backstab Charlie and vote him out -- and three, by promising a vote and then not following through on it. What an absolutely disgusting display by Maria all around. She is the one who did all the backstabbing here and I feel so bad that Charlie got screwed.
That's part of the game. No need to be so dramatic over a game that involves lying.
@@Noid1220 And that's your opinion and I was not talking to you. Thanks for sharing though :) The way she did Charlie in at the end showed no class and I'm not alone in feeling this way.
@nichelerose1744 its a game but your right he got screwed bad. I'm watching the finals now currently 3 people Said they changed answer once they heard what the Lady would do with the money which us insane what about the game
Could Liz just have counted her own puzzle pieces and used the plank to win herself?
Yeah but it would have taken her longer since she still had to count her puzzle pieces whereas Kenzie had already counted her puzzle pieces. If Liz had counted her own then Maria may have won
@@aws_540 But surely all the puzzle pieces and holes are the same. If they're not then it's unfair
@@jbee9361 Yes, I’m sure they were all the same. I’m not sure what you mean by your comment, them being the same number of pieces made no difference. Liz hadn’t counted her own puzzle pieces, if she took the time to count them Maria probably would have won
I'd like to see three Survivor seasons per year. Two just isn't enough!
Wonder if Tiff was a factor in Maria’s vote for Kenzie. Tiff said that she and Charlie were kinda close. Am I remembering correctly that Tiff said, in her exit interviews, that she and Charlie had discussed how to possibly use her idol to get Maria out? Maybe I’m mistaking. Maybe Tiff informed Maria of these plans when Maria got to Ponderosa?
If you love Kenzies, win you can't criticize Gablers game because to me, it's the same game.
It could’ve been. But I feel like the difference is we saw Kenzie’s game and just didn’t see Gabler’s.
Yes, people are very hypocritical between who they like and who they don’t. Both are very equally deserving winners.
You’re right. They both did nothing.
Asyha on survivor lets go, next Rob Survivor 50😂
I've been watching Survivor for over a decade. Sadly, this season will be my last. Kenzie was a "social butterfly" and giggled her way through challenges (except the one where Liz helped her win). Maria and Charlie drove this game socially. The Gabler and Kenzie wins have me convinced that the best strategy in Survivor is to be likable and to not actually attempt to play the game. Goodbye survivor.... I enjoyed the show, but the show is no longer enjoyable.
🤡
I found Liz being allowed to fetch Kenzie's plank really strange. Albert wasn't allowed to help Sophie. Also if your allowed to interact with other competitors items could you just get it and then toss it away or hide it?
Damn, they literally brought it up 😅
After that vote do Maria’s kids still have an uncle Charlie?
Why was that Charlie's pic for thumbnail? 😭
22:05 💯🧜♀️🐉she lulled ppl to their demise! Just like Sirens
mermaid dragon
@@milanbaros-gi4pm basically same thing, I got the emojis in there
Hard disagree, Rob, I was not a fan of the way the jury conducted FTC. This is a multi-week game for a million dollars, it deserves a serious and thorough discussion. A tight FTC is a bad thing and that's why this one was so boring.
I thought Charlie was trying to work out how the jurors' votes might go.
Sounds like Charlie simply underestimated Kenzie's social game. If he truly believed any of them could win, he should have demanded to make fire to keep Kenzie out of the spotlight. Everyone knew Liz was an easy victory. There was almost no risk to it.
The thing is, tribes have thrown challenges to take out someone in their tribe so what is the big deal? I even think people have helped each other before in challenges. People have even if I remember in the past earlier seasons, people have stepped out of challenges to let another person win.
I think it was Tiffany, who had a question I just can't stand and needs to go away. The idea of not only a move you made on your own, but also one that changed the game, is so asinine. Aside from a very few instances, no move is a solo move. You have to rely on other people for most moves. Trying to make someone say they had sole control of a move is just asking for someone to correct them because they had a different view of things.
Has nothing to do with the outcome, I just find it an asinine premise.
Forty SEVERAL with RHAP very own Aysha Welch!!!
