The worst part of being exposed to sex too early is that it either makes you promiscuous or shutdown. Either way, you are forever changed and it kills the person you could’ve been. It’s a crime that so many families just ignored sexual abuse in the home or relative homes and expect girls to just get over it or worse, blamed them for it. When you know a crime has been committed against you and no one gets punished, it ruins your self esteem.

It was said that one night they had a disagreement at a show, & he beat her something wicked in a dressing room & proceeded to throw a chair at her in the heat of the moment, that chair was metal & it ended up hitting her in the head. Hearing about her having headaches most of her life, it's a shame she got so used to them that she never went to get a full diagnosis. The tumor had probably grown since childhood. And her going from guy to guy is a symptom of her abuse and then being in that industry. She did a lot in her short years, except sadly never got herself healed physically or emotionally until it all crashed before the age of 25.😔

James Brown saw his mother being tragically abused by his father, according to the movie on his life. The mother walked down a long dirt road as she was forced to leave young James behind ( with nothing but a raggedy suitcase of clothing), after suffering years of abuse. Young James was calling out to his mother, but she was told she had better not even look back... according to the movie. Of course this is no excuse for his constant physical abuse of women.

Unless there is psychological intervention, men that grew up in homes of domestic violence , usually grow up to be abusive. It's perpetual for generations.

It's extremely distasteful to hear stories about how these women back in the day was treated. Whatever the psychology behind her choosing to be promiscuous, doesn't readily make her a punching bag or some kind of door mat to walk on. It's interesting to hear folk come up with reasoning for others behavior, yet you will *never hear *most come up with *good solutions that will aid with that which they're *actually going through.

I absolutely 💯% loved her voice especially her duets with Marvin Gaye. I asked my Mother several years back what became of her. She told me that she died from a brain tumor. But I had read a lot about her being constantly abused by men. They wanted to control her because of her phenomenal beauty & talented. Its as if they wanted to posess her... Like a prized possession but hated her for the very attributes that she held. That's so sick and toxic 😪

I've always wondered why? Women like this with a heart warm and passionate had problems with men that abused them what I've discovered men who had abuse and other issues dealt with them and sought help with it so in order to deal they took their pain out of them I realize we all have issues that we deal with daily Tammie shouldn't have gone through such treatment but this is the way of the world even today I've found out when you take them to the Lord and work on them with His help you can overcome anything I loved seeing Marvin and Tammie singing together they song great hits together I thought her and Marvin looked great together but later on I found out he had issues as well she was a song bird to me and Marvin had a great voice as well those memories of them two will forever be in my heart they are truly missed ❤❤❤❤❤😢😢😢
