I just literally can't stand it. I agree with 1 of the comments that Adam is lame as usual. Freddie might have said do what you want with my music, but this is so insulting to that great man's legacy.
People are going to dislike/find fault with everyone who sings in place of Freddie... there was only one Freddie but out of all the others who have tried since Freddie's death Adam Lambert has done it the best. He has never claimed to be Freddie, Adam has his own camp style & Adam has been very humble that he was given the opportunity to perform with Queen . He is very talented with an amazing voice.

Freddie Mercury is a legend. However, Adam Lambert is perhaps the most versatile male voice people will hear in 100 years. Moreover, this guy is humble enough to keep this "I am not worthy" approach whenever people draw comparisons between him and Freddie. Freddie was like Ronaldinho: skillful and a master improvisator, always showing a new trick to please the audience. But Adam Lambert is the Leo Messi of singing: pure perfection. You always expect that he sings covers better than the original singers.

I don't get all you Queen-fans who seem so keen about declaring your favorite band dead. What the hell would that be good for? Queen never were about endlessly repeating what they were doing before. (If so, they would indeed have been "dead" by the late 1970's.) They reinvented themselves several times and succeeded to do so once again now. And everything Freddie did in his last years and months only implied that he wanted them to carry on (as far as I know).
Also, for me, beeing a Queen-fan clearly means to be a fan of all four members. So why wouldn't I be thrilled to have the opportunity to see at least two of them live? Also, that doesn't prevent me in the slightest from watching their old concerts from the old days, which are, of course, unmatched. (But not live, unfortunately!)
Thank you, glad someone else sees that. The "fans" who insist a band has died are just pretentious whiners who kneejerk hate everything new. They prefer bands to be frozen in time, just the way they remember it, and never challenging them. It's pathetic. Or they're just casuals who brag about loving "Freddy" and know nothing about the band as a whole. Either way, such "fans" are not worth listening to.
When are they going to release an album? I mean over 5 years with Adam and no album.. paul rodgers released an album with them.. but Adam should too i think it would be very interesting

and many others, Roger's solo songs are great.

I so desperately want to see Queen. And they are playing in CT in a few days. Unfortunately I am chronically ill and shouldn't be in crowds so my husband just refused to go with me , thus I won't see them. Heartbreaking☹️

Because he auditioned Roger and the two of them were in a band together for awhile and then later brought Freddie in as their new lead singer.
technically Roger and Brian founded Queen, first they were Smile, Tim left the band and included Freddie, changed the name to Queen ...
