SIR Brian May has such mesmerizing speaking voice! I could listen to him half of the day! Now the rest of the day goes on with ADAM SINGING AND HIS VIDEOS! Thank you QUEEN!

Brian and Roger thank you so much for continuing to Rock us and Adam, I was blown away by your talent and demeanor. Freddie is never forgotten and you all make that known in your performances! Thank you! We hope to see you again! ❤️
What a fantastic interview by these three. They are so open & honest with what they say. They still want to tour as long as they can. They will know when it's time to call it quits.👑🎸🥁🎵
I am so excited because Adam & Queen are on my bucket list, I wanted to hear Adam Lambert and queen. In person. I have two tickets in the 14th row for a cost of over $2000 to see them together. I’m 71 years old and this was definitely on my bucket list. Thank you so much and I hope the tickets hold up.Lori
I am so lucky and blessed that I was able to get 2 tickets on the floor for Queen & Adam in Denver. It wasn't until the money came out that I fell in love with Queen. I regret when they came to Denver the first time, I was married and we just didn't have the money for anything but our expenses. I fell in love with Adam, joined his fan club and now I listen to their music in my car and office. Thank you for touring again so I get to see and hear you live. This was on my bucket list before I die.
Wow it's great to hear such intelligent questions and answers in an interview for a change - seems as if the interviewer has really "done his homework" for and worked on this interview 👍👍👍👍
I seen Queen 1982 November at McNichols arena Denver Colorado. Opening act was Billy squier with Bruce kulick became guitarist for kiss. Queen at McNichols tore the place down that night. Under pressure was playing on the radio at the time. Freddy so iconic with so much charisma and power of his voice. I'll never forget it.🎉🎉🎉
I love these guys. At 74 years old, the tickets are out sight in costs. I hope they will record for us to bring up and watch on our phone. It would be great for we Seniors who have enjoyed them for SO many years. Adam has added so much to the group. It's nice to hear the older members compliment his part into their iconic group.
I'm a bit younger than you and a huge fan of Freddie's and it really bothers me that we can't begin to afford the ticket prices when Brian and Roger each made $98 million off the movie about Freddie's life, a movie that made Freddie look like a mean, spoiled diva who broke up the band and cried his way back in with his AIDS diagnosis, none of which is true. They could certainly lower the ticket prices to something everyone can afford.
@@debra2700you know the band doesn't set the ticket prices right? Maybe complain to their management. If you're the best and have been going for well over 40 years you're going to have to pay, that's just the way it is
@@jackwhitbread4583 Do you seriously believe that Brian and Roger are forced to accept the money or that they can't set lower ticket prices? How much money do they need?
Love watching Brian and Roger. They are really my favorite guys. Nothing against Adam he has a great voice. But I know Freddie lives on in all the Queenies hearts. Bless you all!!♥️🙏🏻😇
"This show is part of a series called iHeart Radio icons. You [Adam] are, I believe, the youngest performer ever to be featured on this program...and it's justified because you stepped in at your very young age to an incredibly iconic role.'' Love it! Thank you iHeartRadio! Music to my ears!
Saw Queen on their first American tour in the 70's. Never had the opportunity to see them again, sadly. Freddy was a musical genius and an incredible showman.
Great interview. Obviously there are songs they feel they “have” to play. But as a diehard fan, I’d love to see a show where they mostly play deep cuts like Phophet’s Song, Save Me, Play the Game, jealousy, Leaving Home Ain’t Easy, Sail Away Sweet Sister and so many others. Not everyone would enjoy that, but I feel like the band would love to mix it up more.
@@sasha07775 This guy is a troll that make the same comment in thousands of Adam videos. Feel sorry for him, maybe trolling Adam is all he has in his live.
During the back stage tour u might far a hug from Brian. They don’t guarantee it but in 8/2019 Brian unannounced came back and hugged each of hug. I was so surprised. No pics allowed back stage so practice taking pics on the down and low.
I m disappointed in ticket prices. The prices in St Paul are like 259.00 with taxes 300. Last tour 115.00 which for me is doable, and I've been to previous Queen concerts here. This is a 200 percent increase. I'm going to have to stay home. I'm saddened over the ticket prices. Very saddened.
Looking forward. I’m thankful to go but man the NYC tickets that were in the 200-300 were unattainable and so were even the 600-800. The resellers took over and bruised my pocket bad, very bad because my brain needed my 4 year Queen fix. I’m gonna miss these guys so I’ll be there in NYC MSG. Yippee.
Maybe he accepted that Freddie Mercury is dead. Maybe he doesn't want to continue making money with his dead friend. Maybe he doesn't feel like playing the same songs over and over again. Maybe he's embarrassed to hide his age with a second drummer/bass player in the background. Perhaps he hasn't put aside the Queen's claim of always something new, of crossing borders. There are many reasons why he no longer wants the Queen Torso.
@@HundXanthippe John has been a recluse but he could have at least stood up for Freddie the last 30 years. Roger and Brian have exploited Freddie every way they could, making $98 million each off a movie that made Freddie look like a spoiled, selfish diva who broke up the band out of greed for money and then wormed his way back in with sympathy over his AIDS diagnosis, none of which was true. Mary Austin said after Freddie's death that the remaining members of the band was jealous of the money Freddie left her and she didn't exclude John. Mary had nothing to do with the movie and Freddie's share of the profits automatically went to her because of the Trust Fund he left her whereas John's son had a part in film which really disappointed me and John apparently did nothing to make the movie more accurate or stand up for Freddie's legacy. That hideous movie created a whole new wave of Queen fans. It would have been nice if even a small portion of Freddie's life was portrayed accurately. I wouldn't spend a nickel to see Queen.
@@debra2700 If he could have done anything... wouldn't that have turned into a loud argument, possibly even in court? That would have really put the film in focus. He also didn't comment, after the statements by Brian May and Roger Taylor, after the opening of Freddie Mercury's will. Should he leave the film revenue and the royalties to which he is entitled to the two? He expressed his thoughts on the rest of Queen years ago, and even today it hasn't been forgiven or forgotten by Brian May and Roger Taylor. I think he's so done with his ex-colleagues that he ignores them but doesn't want to give them his due win. We don't know if he didn't "donate" this profit, even in the Freddie Mercury sense
@@xmasbunnyscotland5355 “Today would have been Freddie Mercury's Birthday. One doesn't have many regrets in life; not knighting Freddie Mercury is one of them…” That is a direct quote from Queen Elizabeth II…
@@debra2700 I never knew that, when did she say that? She was Queen Elizabeth II so if she really wanted she could have. Doesn't matter now, RIP both of them.
@@xmasbunnyscotland5355 I found the quote but I will be honest and tell you that I can't find where or when she said it other than the reference to it being Freddie's birthday. Freddie was denied many awards and honors because he died of AIDS so if this quote is true, and I hope it is, Queen Elizabeth did regret denying Freddie an honor he truly deserved.
the least they could have done is be honest that the Truro gig as smile was a mistake smile was over and Freddie encouraged them to start again they formed Queen but Rogers mum advertised them as smile
The imitator was only hired to be in their tribute band. Queen would never hire an imitator to front Queen. Queen not only required an amazing singer, but also a frontman who could bring the stage presence, flamboyance, camp, charisma and theatrics Queen was know for and Marc sorely lacks.
Mark martel is not an amazing singer?? Your in a minority with that option. If they hired adam because of his traits alone then that would explain why Queen has never recovered.
@@neilkennykenny4113 I never said they hired him for his performance style, but it as definitely a plus. Marc is an imitator which makes him perfect for a tribute band. Queen has more than recovered. With Adam they have been brought back to their former glory days. Together they have been selling out arenas and stadiums all over the world for over a decade now. Here’s why Queen hired Adam: “Roger and I have seen literally thousands of singers in our lifetimes including some great ones auditioning for our We Will Rock You show, but we’ve never seen or heard anything like Adam Lambert. I always think that Freddie, with a wicked smile, would say something like, “I hate you, Madame Lambert” because even Freddie would have been gobsmacked at his range and his ability to reinterpret these songs which the four of us originally created together”. (Classic Rock) ”I think he’s the best singer around. I don’t know anybody that could out sing Adam Lambert. I really don’t.” --Roger Taylor “The voice is stupendous. There is not another voice like that in this planet.” --Brian May
@sasha07775 To be fair brian and rodger are hardly gonna say they could have picked someone better. I'm not saying adam isnt a great singer he is good, but hes not good enough to fill the shoes of Freddie. Brian Johnson replaced Bon Scott in ACDC and the band went on stronger than ever before this hasn't happened with Queen I seen Queen with Adam lambert a few years ago and there was loads of empty seats, They are selling out now cos of an Oscar winning film gave them boost.
@@neilkennykenny4113So you’re implying that Brian and Roger are lying? They have no need to lie. They met Marc before they began touring with Adam meaning there was no contract with Adam and could have switched if hey felt Marc was a better match. If Brian and Roger think he’s a good match, that’s good enough for me and the millions who sell out their concerts. You must be living under a rock if you think QAL are not going strong. Yeah after 11 years 255 sold out shows in arenas and stadiums in 42 countries, and performed to 6 million fans, a #1 album, and considered in the XXI century the best band of the world. Adam is now a legend and the frontman of Queen, He is part of the band history forever alongside the other frontman. They just finish 36 concerts in Europe and a 10 days concerts in the 02 in London, to more than 2 million fans and play in the Jubilee for billions. And now they sold 24 concerts in the USA in less than 10 minutes to half a million fans. More bitter now of their huge success and popularity?

Great interview. Got my ticket for Dallas, pricey, but worth it I am sure. Saw them QAL last June in London. ❤
I wish Queen was coming to Montréal Québec it would be so cool ❤️❤️
I love them ♥️♥️♥️ I've seen QAL one time. They are amazing 😍
Have to play “ love kills “ just like at the iheart show in 2014
Great interview.
Love Brian May. So glad to keep Queen alive. What a blast!♥️🎸🥁🎤
Oh how I wish to see them here in South America....
Brian and Roger did keep Queen out there ....they did it the right way 👍....and to play without Freddie and John 40 years 🤯🤯 CRAZY
i missed them in london so i hope they go back
When are you coming to Asia?
They already did! Japan feb 2024
October 13th… cannot wait
Wanted so much to see them in Boston, but sadly, the only available handicapped accessible seat was $700! Not,on a nurse's pay! 😪
I hope they play Innuendo and Lily-of-the-Valley.
We want You in Poland!

NYC was $600 up. There was no way to get the $200 tickets.
Yippee.
What do these guys think about performing at the queens jubilee

See you in Detroit!
Is that Jim Kerr from Q104.3 doing the interview it sounds just like him
It’s a great pity that John Deacon does not share the same enthusiasm as BM & RT to continue the Queen line up
Maybe he accepted that Freddie Mercury is dead.
😊☺️💛💜❤️🔃

Queen Elizabeth said she had few regrets in life but one was not Knighting Freddie Mercury.
I very much doubt that, when did she say that?
Adam will never be a Freddie
True, but at least he’s not trying to be.
I think he’s good with being Adam .
He’s never tried to be Freddie.
He is not trying to be Freddie!
Thank God because Adam is amazing.
It needs to be Queen feat. Marc Martel
It will never be Queen featuring a Freddie wannabe. 😂 😂 😂 They choose Adam because they didn’t want an imitator, they wanted the best original voice.
Imagine a mimic christian homophobic impersonator in Queen? he is where he belongs a cover band.
Never!
I don't rate Adam lambret at all, they should of held onto Mark martel
Here’s why Queen hired Adam:
“Roger and I have seen literally thousands of singers in our lifetimes including some great ones auditioning for our We Will Rock You show, but we’ve never seen or heard anything like Adam Lambert. I always think that Freddie, with a wicked smile, would say something like, “I hate you, Madame Lambert” because even Freddie would have been gobsmacked at his range and his ability to reinterpret these songs which the four of us originally created together”. (Classic Rock)
”I think he’s the best singer around. I don’t know anybody that could out sing Adam Lambert. I really don’t.”
--Roger Taylor
“The voice is stupendous. There is not another voice like that in this planet.”
--Brian May
@sasha07775 To be fair brian and rodger are hardly gonna say they could have picked someone better.
There is a loyal fan who has tracked all of their shows and you couldn’t be more wrong about empty seats. 😂 Even those who had the honor of seeing Freddie live with Queen have no problem tweeting their acceptance of Adam after seeing a QAL concert. I have plenty of fan tweets and media reviews from most of their concerts, if you’d like me to share. Sorry, but your opinion means nada, zero, zilch!
