Mock Trial Clip

This video shows the Crown’s examination-in-chief (also called direct examination) of its own witness, a police officer, in a mock trial conducted at the Superior Court of Justice in Windsor, Ontario. Students should pay attention to the style of questions used, particularly as they are juxtaposed to questions posed in cross-examination in the following videos.
