It’s amazing that they’re a lot of fan made games with retro styles games of the past. This is why I love demakes. Where they take a modern game and turn it into a NES style. Love to see more of them.
Part 2 please, here are some suggestions: 1. Castlevania Symphony of the Night for Genesis/MD. (Not finished and is being converted into an action platformer instead of Metroidvania.) 2. Portal for the N64, yes really. Also not yet completed. 3. Mega Man 7 and 8, they’re NES style but were made for PC. 4. Half Life 2 Classic, a demake that uses the prequel’s engine. These guys need more volunteers! 5. The Unreal demo for the Saturn, according to Saturn fans Epic’s 1998 shooter was considered for PS1 and then canceled when they decided it couldn’t be done. There it is recreated on the Saturn whose 3D capabilities were always underestimated. Actually calling it a demake might not be accurate and might be offensive to the creator, still pretty neat and deserves to be mentioned in a video.
If Demakes made by the actual OG game makers like Lucius count, then the best Demake of all is Dragon Quest XI S's 2D Mode. They remade the whole entire *ss game in 2D so you can play it like an NES classic.
Halo was remastered in the Anniversary Edition on 360, that got tarted up a little for the Master Chief Collection as it hopped up two more console generations. Halo 2 was what actually got remastered for the MCC.
There's something there to make you feel old. Schwarzenegger: Old... Luigi gets more recognition than Waluigi at least. Demakes are on Steam? I'm still sad that Fez 2 was cancelled, for mostly stupid reasons.
Around the time Pokémon Black and White launched, a de-make video in the style of Pokémon Red and Blue surfaced, however it was only that as no playable version exists (the video was concocted as an April Fools prank).
I feel like this video was well-intentioned, but I'll bet a fiver most of these will get a Cease & Desist before the end of the month now. It happens pretty much anytime a demake gets a bit of limelight :(
Well I'm assuming a required minimum swashing of a single buckle must have been swashed in order to call ones self a swash buckler. Although I fear that many buckles would have been nearly swashed but not quite, prior to the very first actual full swashing of the affor mentioned buckle in question.

As a past owner of Spectrum ZX, Atari ST, Game Gear, SNES, Mega drive, N64. Up to PS5, ( finally got one today lol ) I feel like these games are the type of thing you'd play for an hour then forget all about. Like those retro " 10000 games in one " consoles you see advertised all over the place.

I've only played the Lucius Demake from this list. It was probably more fun than the original!
