Hey do you have the link of the solar angle device?
Sure amzn.to/46LMfvr
Hi Greg Cables are delayed.
For the money of this battery you can buy another power station
Or get 2x 12v 100ah lifepo4 on sale
That’s my two paws up you probably remember me from last time I’m sorry to hear about your dog
Nicely packaged and thought out expansion system for the bluetti family. The only attraction for me is the flexibility with weight. I can have lighter units and still have greater capacity. You have a wonderful delivery and speaking voice. Good review.
It's technically compatible with any portable power pack. You can simply charge any portable power pack from the B80's 12 volt port, You just need the cigarette plug adapter to whatever the input is on your portable power pack (XT60, Anderson XT90 etc).
Not sure about this. For the same money you can buy another AC180 with more WH and power.
Exactly what Ive been saying about all their expansion batteries. You can just buy another power station instead. Like their products but this pricing makes no sense
Bluetti ups its game with this one. Maybe i'll pick one up once the cable comes out. Nice video, looks like you're the first to report on this. Cheers to you and Brooklyn!
Thanks for the review. It’s always good to have more options.
Thank you
Why buy the expansion battery for $700 when you can just buy another ac180 for $600 which has higher capacity.
Plus increase the solar input.
@@ysBooksTheAuthormy solar is capped at 400watts of CIGS panels on the roof of my tent
You can also plug any 12 or 24 v battery into the charge port of any powerstation to increase its capacity....
For that price, just buy a second unit which I plan to do for my EB3A?
It's a ridiculous idea. It's $700. At that price you can buy a 1200 watts 100Ah for $300
Nice review waiting for Eb3a video as I own one
Hi thank you!
Cables are delayed , as soon as they are available we will launch
It also works with the AC50B I understand
I feel the only logical way to justify and run a B80 is paring it with the AC60 they share not only the common power cable but data also built into the same cable so effectively they work as one unit. I got the AC70P with the intention of using the B80 as an extension battery but found out later it would only act as a battery charger in power bank mode feeding my AC70P 180/190watts max.
Here in Ireland as of the 16/01/2025 Bluetti were running a flash sale for the AC60P & B80P for €799 around 825 dollars let me know if I got a good deal.
Brooklyn will always be missed.
I have an AC180, EB3A, EB70S, and 2 120W panels. I am on the fence about buying this expansion. It will charge my units at about 200W I can leave those plugged in inside the house then take the B80 out and charge it via solar.
But do I think I will need it
What other batterys can you charge the AC180 with? Also, can you please tell me how many times I can charge my ac180 with this battery on this video?
I can see the attraction if you already have a small power station like the eb3a. I have an ac180, surely it would make sense for me just to buy another AC180, which i can charge up in less the 1.5hrs. If this thing was £299 then maybe but otherwise not worth it. Or alternatively buy 12v 100ah lifepo4 battery that gives you 1,280wh starting from £250. I'm starting to think these powerstations are best combined with conventional 12v lifepo4 batteries, I'm not convinced the B80 is worth it at this price point.
You should make a video ac 180 /b 80 connect n review
Just a question. If you hook the b80 to the ac180 you lose the ability to charge with 500 watts of solar, since the b80 only has 200 watts max. Is that correct?
@ysBooksTheAuthor i’m not familiar at this time with the AC180 but you can simply charge them separately via solar if you want
Hey new subscriber here. I been searching all day for this information. Thank you. Please do update us when the new cable comes out.
Welcome to the channel, my EB3a video will launch soon with the cable. What power station do you have?
@@TechMadeEzy i need the cable that connects to the ac180. The cable that came with my b80 what does it connect to? Its not a 7909 end. Does the cable that came with the b80 go to the ac60 or ac70?
@itsallminor6133 hi the cable that cable with the B80 does connect to the AC60 see the video below but here is a link for the aviation to DC7909 amzn.to/3Gr3dDl

Nice review and look forward to eb3a review which I have. Why aren’t they including any charging cables ?
Not sure, I guess they assume you can use most of the Power Station solar cables at minimum. The AC charging cable goes for about $130.
The cord is now available. Just got mine
Which cable ?
@18:34 Oh yeah, really nice ! Not for an extra $600.00 + USD it isn't ! That expansion battery is at a premium price ! 👎🏻In Canada on Amazon Canada it's retailing for $799.00 CAD ! That's as much or more than the friggin' power station itself ! For those kinda dollars I want to see more expansion capacity than 806 measley Watt Hours. 😩 At least with EcoFlow you are getting more reasonable expansion capacity @ 2KW Hours or even 3.6 KW Hours per expansion battery for the Delta Pro. So what does that extra cost buy you ? Is $800.00 worth an extra 40 minutes of running time ? Not for me it isn't ! 👎🏻
You dnidn't.t put the links in for the solar pointing device and the tool to unplug the cable.

Great review as always , can you find out when will the eco flow flat solar cable be available in the United States , eruope has it , it flat and goes under your door .
I will look into this 👍🏼
Hi question can I run a diesal heater on the side aviation output plug or is that only to connect to other batteries?
To my knowledge, it’s a proprietary connection not really made for that but if you want, you can check with Bluetti
service@bluettipower.com
@@TechMadeEzy that would be awesome if you could
That’s why I provided the email. I wish I could help everyone, but I can’t so just send them an email with your question be very specific and include your Wattage.
Thank you. I see you say that you can charge the B80 from the AC60. Can you also charge the B80 from the AC180?
Don’t know sorry haven’t had my hands on the AC180 bit check w Bluetti to be safe
With the B80 expansion battery connected to EB3A, if EB3A is connected to AC wall charger outlet will it also charge the B80?
No. Not on the EB3a
Am I right that it also expands the AC 70?
Yup see this video
ua-cam.com/video/WmmnGm686HA/v-deo.html
How about the new AC2A? Their images show the B80 as a "5x Capacity" solution
Not sure I haven't reviewed that product yet
I wonder, this should be able to function as a power bank for the Pecron E600?
Hi, How would you do that?
@@TechMadeEzy lol well, embarrassingly, your question answers my question! Except I did ask about the Pecron specifically because I was interested in purchasing one snd I remembered hearing it would not be able to support expansion batteries, so I wasn’t sure to what extent the E600 model could be charged by outside batteries ect. Asking furthermore if this B80 would be able to was a terrible example, but because I noticed it doesn’t seem to be compatible with other power stations simply based on no such videos on the topic, not because I paid close attention to the cords/adapters/outlets.
Does it or doesn't it come with the aviation to 7909? You said once is does then later said it doesn't. Just making sure since I wouldn't mind getting this for my EB70s. Just don't want to have to wait for a cable.
Johnny
Never said it came with it, only the battery expansion cable comes with it. Dc7909 isn’t available yet.
P. S. THANKS for watching Johnny
Does the expansion have an app?
I would think once it's connected to another Power Station what is a stand-alone I'm not 100% sure
@@TechMadeEzy Ok thanks. I'll reach out to Bluetti and ask.
@hertechprep sorry I couldn't help much more
@@TechMadeEzy No worries! Thanks for the video! 🙂
@@TechMadeEzy Yeh, it doesn’t have it own dedicated app.
im going to call you out. this battery expansion is 699$ for 599$ you can buy a 14.8 200mah battery and do the same thing but cheaper. i have the eb3a LOVE IT so why spend 699$ on a battery where you can buy a bigger battery for 100$ cheaper?
It’s just a review now lol
Call me out ? 🤣
@@TechMadeEzy i was just pointing out there is a cheaper option. now the b80 is great so is the features worth the extra money? well for the people who can't make their own power station then perfect choice. great review and looking for the video on the eb3a hook up to the b80.
I hear you 100% not everyone can afford the price
I'm concerned about the suggestion that these batteries should be "stored" at 50%, or 80%, or anything less than 100%. Many of us are buying these expensive devices to provide backup power for refrigerators, etc. I have no idea when we will have a long duration power outage. So do I now have to buy 2 or 3 times the battery capacity to meet my intended needs? I was being led to believe that LFP batteries didn't mind sitting at 100% SoC. What's your opinion of this situation? I enjoy your channel and feel you do a really good job explaining things, but I hate to think I can only depend on these devices to meeting 50% of my needs. I personally own the AC200P and have it sitting under a small table at 100% SoC.
Always good to share our opinions I really appreciate it
Maybe an update with the AC2a? ❤Brooklyn❤
(We have a "Brookie" too)
Bluetti customer service is advising me that that the Aviation to DC7909 is not compatible with the EB55. Has anyone successfully used this cable on an EB55?
Yes correct, I learned this after the fact I took a while to get the information but they are coming out with an xt60 cable
Great info! I have been waiting for this video before buying one. I got the EB55, EB3A and the AC180 to expand with this. Thank you! I think I can cut the end of the P090A cable that came with it and replace it with the DC7909 connector. What do you think?
Thank you
Hi looks like you will need this cable for your EB55 since it uses xt60
amzn.to/3Deio1d
I don’t recommend cutting cables
@@TechMadeEzy Thanks for the link!
EB55 takes Aviation to xt60
Thanks, believe you are correct since it is one of the rare Bluetti to use xt60 for solar and car charging.
@@TechMadeEzy I ordered a B80 and an Aviation to DC7079 cable for an EB55. Bluetti customer service advised me to go to Amazon and buy an XT60 to DC7079 cable to hook the Aviation cable into and plug into the XT60 port. Not sure why this is needed, but following their direction. I also asked if the B80 and EB55 could be linked with the 12v cigarette to XT60 cable that ships with the EB55. They replied that they don't recommend it but my impression is that it could. Thoughts?
Don't know, sorry. But they are coming out with an aviation to xt60 cable in a week or so.
This video is misleading and confusing. If you are "expanding" your device, you need an aviation to aviation cable. If you're using an aviation to dc input, you will be charging your device. So in short out of all the devices he showed in this video the only one you can expand is the ac60 all other you would be charging. Do your research
@@Rob-rx7ku you beat me to it. I was going to buy one for my eb3a until further investigation explained exactly what you said. It would just be an overpriced charging brick for me and not worth the money.
@@michaelschwertfeger1690 your welcome 🙏🏻
